15/06/2025: I traveled to Chiavenna by public transport via Prättigau, Engadin, and the Maloja Pass. I went exploring the old town of this provincial town. The alleys are bustling with life. My stay at the Passerini was absolutely delightful. The ambiance at the Palazzo Salis is inviting, the food is excellent, and the service is both competent and friendly. The value for money is good. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The return journey by post bus over the Splügen Pass is interesting. A very nice excursion with a GA or municipal day ticket to Chiavenna at no extra cost.

02/05/2025: Fermarsi da Passerini d mangiare bene, coccolati in tutti i sensi dell‘ alimentazione, della gentilezza e della simpatia. Questo tris per molti ristoratori risulta talvolta arduo, qui é la regola aurea.

08/07/2025: I believe this place is owned by the same company as the pastry shop on the main road. A very cool place, both in terms of decor and style, with an excellent selection of products and wine list. Friendly and knowledgeable service. We've always found it very crowded, which I think is because the place is so successful. Chiavenna always has wonderful surprises in store, and I always find the locals friendly, cheerful, and tasteful. People who understand what's good for Italy.

12/07/2025: Ich war in Zuge meiner Via Spluga-Wanderung in Chiavenna und meine Vermieterin hat mir das Restaurant empfohlen. Die Gasträume sind modern eingerichtet, aber man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Das Essen war superlecker. 😋 Hier komme ich gerne wieder hin.

15/06/2025: I stopped with a friend, after a nice bike ride to the Acqua Fraggia waterfalls! The environment is very welcoming with very kind staff. The owner welcomed us politely making us sit down in a moment. Quality food well cooked and excellent also the final bill ☺️ I absolutely recommend it.

28/06/2025: Six Trevisani motorcyclists passing through on June 9 and 10, it's fine one evening but if we returned also the second it means that the food is excellent and the courtesy of the boy is excellent. Just outside the historic center, stop if you have the possibility it's worth it.

24/04/2025: A cool bistro, perfect for relaxing. Located in the middle of the piazza, it exudes an authentic Italian atmosphere. The garden invites you to sit, especially when the weather is nice. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is fresh and delicious. A nice place to watch and enjoy the goings-on on the square.

31/03/2025: We decided to drive down from St Moritz towards Chiavenna on a Saturday evening. The only place with some music. The place is completely full, with some nice people inside. Alessia welcomed us very warmly, she was very polite, courteous and made us feel at ease. The Linda was good, and the starters were really good. Since we are "close" we will return more often.
