16/06/2026: I found myself in Varzi in this place and I felt at home. The owner Giuliano, after having made us a huge platter of cured meats and DOC cheeses, delighted us with absolutely TOP braised ravioli.....his professionalism but also his friendliness made us feel like family...highly recommended to everyone really!!!!

02/06/2026: A charming place in the historic heart of Varzi. I finally tried the famous Varzi rice cake, delicious. The girls are very kind. The outdoor area is welcoming. Several vegetarian options, including polenta. I'll be back to try other dishes.

08/06/2026: A very nice place. First-class service, excellent food, even if the menu isn't very rich. We tried a platter of cold cuts and a cheese platter. For starters, we had green tomato candies (perhaps the knot was too thick, as it remained hard) and green spaghettini with fresh porcini mushrooms. The bread basket with focaccia was delicious. No second courses, but we ordered two espressos with sweets. The price was reasonable.

15/06/2026: An excellent discovery in Varzi: hospitality, style, and authentic flavors ​Score: 5/5 ​Passing through Varzi on a motorcycle tour, my friend Franco and I stopped for lunch at Cucineria del Caffè Torino, and we were completely surprised. ​The experience began in the best possible way thanks to a splendid and warm welcome. The restaurant is decorated with great taste and attention to detail: the choice of using fabric tablecloths and napkins for a beautifully set table, a standout feature, now rare and highly appreciated. ​For obvious reasons related to driving, we opted for a light but high-quality lunch, focusing on two first courses: ravioli with braised beef and pisarei e fasö. Both courses proved exceptional in terms of flavor, balanced seasoning, and perfectly cooked pasta. A true delicacy. ​Special mention for the wine. Despite having complete freedom to choose from the menu, we wanted to try their house red wine by the glass. As a wine enthusiast, I was impressed: it's the "Rosso della Svercia," a local blend of Barbera and Croatina. A structured yet balanced wine, fantastic to drink and even perfect as a base for a great Oltrepò braised meat, thanks to the Barbera's acidity softened by the Croatina's roundness. ​The quality, courtesy, and atmosphere were truly excellent. A highly recommended place, which will become a regular stop on future visits to the area.

29/03/2026: Make the crusts like dinghies because everyone does them, because it's trendy, a trend I hate. It's a shame you don't know how to do it. They're not at all digestible, I threw away half the pizza. I miss the '90s when pizzas still had personality.
