A really nice bar/restaurant. I had a mixed salad, which wasn't just lettuce like you often find. It was generous and fresh. Yum! The waitress (owner?) was very pleasant, kind, smiling, and attentive. Excellent value for money. I recommend it.

26/06/2026: This pub has always existed in Pavia's main square. The venue comprises several rooms and lounges in a historic setting, reminiscent of an old castle. Personally, I find it very atmospheric; the menu offers a wide selection of beers, including Guinness!, and a variety of wines and cocktails. The food could be better served. French fries, for example, are missing, and the quality of the food isn't exceptional. This venue offers an excellent alternative to the myriad of venues that have sprung up over the years along the square and under the porticoes, which are certainly more modern and trendy but have far less atmosphere.
31/05/2026: It is a historic Irish pub in Pavia that has a great selection of beers.

07/05/2026: Typical beer garden... so many choices!! The food is good: the beer-braised chicken is truly special. The veal with tuna sauce is very good, just the right amount of thinness and with a remarkable sauce. The fries are superb!
12/04/2026: There were 26 of us... 10 guys after a late-night basketball game we'd won. So you can only imagine the confusion while ordering. The staff were very friendly and the price was excellent! A lovely evening with excellent food and excellent staff.
