We thought that was the town's civic center; they were closing up and they showed us how to get around the town.

The nobility of the place shines through the exquisiteness and noble spirit of the owner, Mr. Enrico, who welcomed us with courtesy, expertise, and ease. The visit truly feels like a leap in time, making us reflect on our own rhythms and (literally) savor forgotten sensations... Thank you also for your thoughtfulness towards those who, like me, were unable to complete the entire tour due to physical limitations, but were able to enjoy an unforgettable introduction.

Count Odetti's castle is beautiful. Greeted by the descendant of the Malaspina family himself, we immersed ourselves in his family's history. In Varzi, in one of the most medieval villages of the Oltrepò Pavese, one of the numerous Malaspina castles, an ancient family from the early Middle Ages, with its own restaurant of the starred AD ASTRA.
