17/03/2024: From the outside you almost don't notice it but inside you will find a "gastronomic club"... traditional dishes, local ingredients, hospitality and competence. Very good! I recommend trying the braised ravioli, a delicacy. And make a reservation as there are only about thirty seats.

12/03/2024: Excellent raw materials enhanced by not too elaborate preparations that allow them to be fully appreciated. Courteous and competent staff, I have not had (yet) the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor space, which (I am told) is as comfortable and welcoming as the inside. Very rewarding castonomic experience.

21/04/2024: We have been regular customers for years and years! When we crave Chinese food, Royal is a guarantee! Personally, it is the best among the various restaurants of this type in Pavia and its province. The food is always good, especially the spring rolls! Exquisite! Having been regular customers for a long time, the staff know us and there is a certain familiarity, but even if it was the first time the staff is friendly, polite and professional. The girl in the room is very nice and despite running left and right she always finds 3 seconds to exchange a few words and have a laugh. In short, everything was perfect, definitely a place to try and try again!

17/03/2024: Going to dinner in this place is equivalent to having a wonderful EXPERIENCE! Very refined dishes and flavors that you will remember in the days following your visit here! I'm not from Pavia but I will definitely return to try the delights found in these bistros. Furthermore, I have celiac disease and I found so many gluten-free options that I was spoiled for choice (starting from the starters and ending with the dessert). The icing on the cake: the owner has something extra! SUPER SUPER RECOMMENDED!

24/03/2024: In occasione del compleanno del mio ragazzo, insieme ad amici abbiamo deciso di provare questo home restaurant, che ci aveva incuriosito per le sue ottime recensioni e di cui avevamo già sentito parlare molto bene. E le aspettative non sono state deluse! Abbiamo avuto il piacere di provare il menù di carne, e ogni portata si è rivelata una vera e propria delizia. Menzione speciale per l'amuse-bouche agli asparagi, fresco e delicato, un perfetto inizio per il nostro pranzo. Ma la vera star del menù è stato senza dubbio il guancialino al ripasso della Valpolicella: morbido, saporito e perfettamente cotto. Oltre all'eccellenza del cibo, ciò che ci ha colpito maggiormente è stata l'atmosfera. Calda e accogliente, ci ha fatto sentire come a casa di amici. Il merito va anche a Odo, l'oste, che con la sua premura e gentilezza ha reso il nostro pranzo ancora più speciale. La ciliegina sulla torta è stata la vista mozzafiato sui vigneti che circondano il ristorante. Un panorama che ha reso ancora più piacevole il nostro pranzo. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

05/04/2024: Very nice place in the center of Pavia, excellent food, very friendly staff. For being the first time we had a very good time, I appreciated the quality of the food. The risotto was very good and the appetizers were very tasty.
