29/06/2025: We had dinner for 4, we started with fried polenta and polenta cakes, we continued with beef burgers with polenta sandwich, pappardelle with saffron and luganega and cod to finish with homemade semifreddo and pear and chocolate cake. The service was excellent, the waiter was kind, prepared and very friendly. The food was excellent, everything we ate was very well made. Very fair price. Highly recommended.

27/07/2025: Excellent food (risotto alla monzese with luganega or alla milanese with marrow, ossobuco, pizzoccheri with casera cheese, bitto cheese, etc., veal cutlet alla milanese, etc.) and plentiful. Prices are affordable and include side dishes, bread, service, and more. Highly recommended. Worth a visit.

29/08/2025: A small place (expanding soon) but intimate and charming. I'd also like to add Vitantonio's empathy, which is always happy to stop and chat. Vitantonio's pizza, in my opinion, is the best slice in Monza and among the best I've ever tasted. The highlight is their home delivery: they're always on time, and the pizza comes out of a small oven on their van, so it arrives nice and hot. A unique service like nothing I've ever seen! Needless to mention the quality/price ratio, absolutely extraordinary. Applause!!!

27/07/2025: Historic restaurant in the center of Monza with simple and abundant local cuisine at affordable prices. Welcoming environment and spirit of an old-time trattoria with the presence of a dessert trolley. In summer, an outdoor space is set up in the courtyard. I particularly recommend the pizzoccheri and the risotto with sausage. The service could be more attentive at times.

24/07/2025: Lovely service, nice women, English spoken. Food was quite dry and uninspiring for our taste. It was like healthy options or veggie food from the 80s. Nowadays we are spoilt for choice and expect more. We also found it a tad expensive for reheated deli food. Maybe because we were starving and eat more than Monzanians😅

05/08/2025: So four of us came to have an ice cream cone and three brioches with ice cream. We were served by Zemira, who was very kind and even let us try the shepherd's cream flavor, made with a liqueur. We were very satisfied with both the ice cream and the brioches!

06/05/2025: I always have a doubt. Do the 5 stars relate to the best restaurants you've experienced? That is, only one has 5 stars and the others must necessarily be lower? For me it's very simple: 5 stars is where I've had a great time and would return, so "Il Pollino" deserves them all. I was about to go to McDonald's since my usual lunch break restaurant was closed. Then I see "il Pollino" and I say to myself "I'm a big belly, I would say to stop eating rubbish, today let's eat healthy". The place is small and intimate. It is run by an energetic lady who is always smiling and very professional. At lunch they don't show the menu, she tells you how it used to be. I had an excellent amatriciana, a second course of grilled chicken with a drizzle of lemon and a mix of grilled vegetables and potatoes. All very good and homemade. A beautiful discovery. And the service was extremely fast. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area... to try again in the evening for a dinner with friends or with your current partner/wife/girlfriend. Maybe I wouldn't use it for a first date... but who knows! Nice work!
