17/03/2026: After years, we returned to Al Mago. Its a quaint location. It feels like stepping back in time. A large fireplace and glowing candelabras create ambiance. Excellent food. Nicolò recommended it to us and we had a great time. We'll definitely be back.

08/03/2026: There were eight of us here and the experience was positive. The atmosphere was rustic and informal, perfect for a group dinner. ​Even though the place was busy, the wait was reasonable for what we ordered. The Irish Angus ribeye steak was delicious: ordered rare, it was tender and flavorful, and served on a cast iron platter that maintained the perfect temperature throughout the dinner. Kudos also to the service, very attentive and competent.

08/03/2026: Excellent pizza, quality ingredients. The desserts are also good. Good selection of beers and spirits. The atmosphere is rustic. The place is clean. The soundproofing could be improved; it can be a bit noisy when there are a lot of people. The staff is fast and efficient.

07/03/2026: Birthday dinner for four. Fast and attentive service. Excellent ossobuco, saffron risotto, and elephant ear. The cured meats, cheeses, and fried gnocco were excellent, but the cheese selection was limited. The tiramisu was beautifully presented; the sweet mascarpone paired with the bitterness of the crushed biscuits was excellent. The glass of house red was mediocre. Prices were a bit high.

01/03/2026: I needed to satisfy my craving for boiled meat, and I'd been looking for a restaurant that offered a trolley with all the cuts without having to leave my home. So, after searching around, I found Agostino Campari's restaurant. The restaurant offers a trolley of mixed boiled meats and roasts. I tried all the boiled meat cuts, and I must say they were all really good; they reminded me so much of my grandmother's cooking. In fact, the atmosphere itself aims to transport us back to and maintain a certain connection with the past, and it succeeds well, without being too "retro." In fact, the restaurant has been updated, while retaining some antique furnishings, such as the truly beautiful glass display cases. The two dining rooms are very welcoming, with a touch of refinement. The staff is kind and friendly, and above all, I want to highlight the kindness of the owners who welcomed us at the entrance. One negative was the slightly lengthy service, and the price was a bit high for what we ate. All in all, I recommend this place if you want to stay in the Milan area to try a good bollito misto.

01/01/2026: Very nice restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The food was good, but not memorable. With a 20% discount from the fork, we spent €40 each for four people, including two appetizers, four main courses, four desserts, and a bottle of wine. The portions were not generous.

26/12/2025: Spacious and original restaurant. Simple winter menu with good options. Business lunch with cheese tasting and beautifully cooked and served tagliata. Good wine list too. I'll be back.

25/02/2026: Dinner for two, a menu with a few excellent dishes. The wine list was appropriate and good. Service was prompt, with a few youthful mistakes by the waitresses, but nothing serious. Definitely worth a try!

07/02/2026: First time here, in the company of two cycling friends. Superb hospitality. Indoor bike parking. A dedicated sports room for a quiet lunch. Food well-served and delicious. A la carte menu or a separate menu. At the end, they offered us a nice after-dinner drink. The bathroom and the entire place were also clean. The space is large enough so you're not too close to each other, and the tables are well spaced. In the warmer months, you can enjoy a large outdoor space, set within a courtyard that exudes history and the flavors of times gone by. Well, you just have to go and then come back... come back... come back... I recommend it.

25/01/2026: Even though I'm local and love dining at farmhouses, I hadn't heard of Cascina Palazzo... until yesterday!! We booked for the Murder Mystery Dinner event... let's start with the location: a beautiful restoration of a typical Lombard farmhouse, what can I say? When you arrive, you'll be amazed! We ate divinely, the staff were kind and attentive, the interior dining room was wonderful, and the event was fun and successful! You'll spend a different evening in a beautiful location, eating excellent food, and watching a great show!! What more could you ask for? Oh, I forgot the price for what was offered, it was fair!!

20/12/2025: A small bar in the center of Abbiategrasso. As soon as you enter, you have the counter in front where the (very knowledgeable) guy makes excellent cocktails at more than fair prices. The service could perhaps be a little faster, but it quickly makes up for it with very good drinks. The interior is very well-kept, with references to Medusa, in fact, you can see the mythological figure almost everywhere in the place. That said, I recommend the place for those who want to enjoy a nice evening in company while sipping excellent drinks.

17/10/2025: For dinner, we had lemon chicken legs and spicy baked croquettes, and the kids had traditional baked croquettes. Everything was delicious, and the girl at the counter was very kind and explained all the dishes to us. Highly recommended!
