In addition, he spies on you and takes your plates away at the last bite. I based my decision on the bill, which was correct, but I do not share these opinions.

✅ Alla Bitta abbiamo trovato ampiamente tutto questo, e anche con prezzi che riteniamo assolutamente ottimi non solo per la bontà ma anche per le porzioni.
Non fate l'errore di non ordinare l'antipasto di mare crudo e cotto e le linguine con burrata e gamberi. Non fatelo! 🚫

15/10/2025: We walked in when there were many tables available at dinner time, but in about an hour all the tables were occupied. It was my first local Italian cuisine experience (we just landed that afternoon). It's safe to say I was impressed from the beginning. It's what I expected but even more. The taste of the food is beyond comparison. They know how to grill and how to bake bread. They also know how to make people feel welcomed, not just customers. The atmosphere was also very friendly, it had that feeling that you are in your hometown and everybody knows you.
02/10/2025: Taking a break from hotel food we stumbled across this gem. We actually walked by initially as there were no customers and thought that at 8pm the host was finishing up. We retraced and were delighted that he was open for business and we immediately got a lovely friendly vibe. The four of us had a feast with perfectly barbecued chicken, beef,pork,local sausage, bread and wine. What made the meal however was the friendliness and eagerness to please of the host who comically overcame the language barrier through Google Tranlate and gestures. A complimentary digestive topped a lovely night.

19/10/2025: EXCELLENT, but really excellent quality/price ratio… considering that it is located in the center of Aosta… from the outside it looks like a small restaurant… inside, the place is decidedly spacious with at least two floors… truly exquisite food with typical Aosta Valley cuisine… friendly but very precise and fast staff (there were 34 of us)… DEFINITELY worth trying

12/10/2025: We were with Sicilian friends and wanted to introduce them to some typical Neapolitan dishes. It was a terrible experience, one I won't repeat and would never recommend to anyone (so as to avoid making a bad impression on traditional Neapolitan dishes).
The Genovese was practically inedible, saltier than ever, so much so that it made you sick.
During our visit, all the customers who ordered the Genovese left almost everything on their plates. Despite this experience, the owner remained silent. I personally pointed it out to the waitress, who changed my dish, but the second one was even saltier than the first.
When it came time to pay, they justified themselves by saying the pecorino cheese was too salty.
As a true Neapolitan, I told them not to talk nonsense and admit that the dish had been completely wrong that day and perhaps it would have been better not to offer it at all.
At least he should have deducted the three Genovese dishes we couldn't eat from our bill, but he didn't. I thought it was dishonest.
I will never go back there again, nor will I recommend it. DO NOT GO THERE!!
11/10/2025: A lovely discovery, excellent food, excellent wine, and fast service. Excellent, highly recommended. Very clean place.

03/10/2025: We left the alpine pasture after a drink because the landlady wouldn't stop complaining about the tourists. She did so loudly and with unbearable language.
It's a shame, because the alpine pasture is in a beautiful location.
08/09/2025: How could I not recommend this mountain hut... easy route 1.5 hours at a normal pace 2 hours stopping several times to admire all the beauty of the valley... finally arriving at the last pine trees the view will open up allowing you to glimpse a shirt that smells of history a few meters away... .. mountain hut rebuilt several times by the old manager, father of the current one due to winter avalanches. Large comfortable tables with the possibility of refreshments (actually a full-fledged lunch) managers LIKE IN THE PAST!! Kind people with the hard work and passion of their hosts in their eyes and hands... a family that in a wood-fired kitchen churns out dishes for more than 50/70 people on busy days... and to an even greater surprise, only Anke, the lady, in the kitchen... nowadays in an average restaurant one cook isn't even enough for three customers, and with a professional kitchen... here the wait is obligatory... (a plate of speck, eggs, and potatoes could require a 10/15 minute wait with the hut full at rush hour) but you are on vacation...
excellent food, try the burgers (you won't eat anything better)... no bicycles on the woods side due to obvious ‼️ dangers ⚠️... dogs on leashes because chickens and geese roam among the tables...
view... needless to say... manager Alfred and his sons are always available... we will return every year!!

The service ensured punctual timing, seamless coordination with the venue and vendors, and a frictionless guest experience. The front-of-house staff was professional, proactive, and discreet; each course arrived at the right temperature and was carefully presented. Guest feedback: unanimously positive.
Note: Despite this being a venue unfamiliar with their traditional restaurant service, the execution was solid and reliable even under pressure.
In short: excellent execution, zero surprises, a reliable and results-oriented partner. Highly recommended.
