22/08/2026: I may have posted a review already but I think it’s important to see how the quality of this little jewel has remained very high if not improved over the years.
The decision of offering a pre-determined menu (still changing every month) is very good as the customer will sample a nice variety of unusual and excellent dishes.
Highly recommended. I try to sample the new menu every month, if possible!!!
21/08/2026: A lovely, intimate place with meticulous attention to detail, located in a truly quiet area of Grosseto. The food is superb, truly divine. The ingredients are all top-quality, cooked to perfection to bring out their flavors. I wish I lived near this restaurant so I could try their monthly tasting menu 💚 The staff are truly amazing, incredibly kind, and perfectly organized in their service! Really well done, I can't wait to go back!

04/08/2026: A typical modern butcher shop that becomes a tasting room, then transforms into a ready-made cooking station, offering à la carte dining. Well-managed, this experience is achieved with dedication and passion. The quality of the meat is excellent, and can be enjoyed with a variety of fillings.
The famous "gnummried" are a must-try, and I highly recommend them as one of the oldest and most sought-after local products. The sandwiches are exceptional.

19/08/2026: We stopped in for dinner by chance, literally choosing at random while walking.
The dining room was a bit chaotic, but we ate wonderfully. Excellent value, generous portions, and well-prepared.
Special mention for the young man who served us: kind, knowledgeable, and attentive, he definitely added value to the dinner.

21/08/2026: I really enjoyed visiting this aquarium. There are many different aquatic species, and I really appreciated their efforts to raise awareness about waste in the sea. 🌊🐢
I also saw a sea turtle they rescued after being seriously affected by waste. It made me happy to see her doing well and healthy now.
One small downside: there is a pool where visitors can touch the rays. I saw children playing with them, and I found it a little unfortunate, as I think it’s better to observe them without touching them.

The place is simple, authentic, and very family-friendly. The welcome is particularly warm and friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
22/08/2026: Truly excellent lunch! Fresh fish, everything freshly prepared, generous portions, and fair prices, especially considering the quality. Fast service and extremely friendly staff. We found a table for lunch on a Saturday without a reservation: a delightful discovery, we'll definitely be back!

01/02/2026: One of the best bars for an aperitivo in the Vomero/Arenella area. Kindness and courtesy are the order of the day. We had two spritzes and were kindly offered rustici, chips, olives, and lupini beans. Everything was delicious and generous! We dream of an aperitivo like this in Paris! We hope to return soon!

14/07/2026: Hidden behind two tourist restaurants, you'll find Hoseria Sconta. The food was fantastic. The spaghetti carbonara was probably the best in Caorle ❤️❤️❤️ The same goes for the spaghetti vongule and the tuna carpaccio. For dessert, we had the chocolate salami, which is known in Germany as "Kalter Hund" (a type of chocolate cake), and the strawberries with cream and chocolate sauce. Absolutely delicious! A perfect house wine rounded off the evening beautifully. The service also deserves a mention. Very friendly and helpful. You really feel welcome here.
In the end, it wasn't exactly cheap, but that was partly because we didn't want to leave so quickly, and we'll definitely be back.

Parking is just steps from the Abbey and the historic center.
Friendly and welcoming staff.
Dogs are welcome and welcomed (which is not a given).
And what can I say about the food! We had an appetizer and a fish main course, despite the truly fantastic mountain location. Excellent quality and a great price.
Highly recommend.
