A hidden gem in Caorle. Excellent food. Portions are rather small but varied. Bonus: a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.

Everyone deserves a second chance. We were there again today (April 19, 2026). It was fantastic. The spaghetti carbonara was superb, and the Venetian liver was delicious. Carlo, you really made us happy. Thank you so much. If you don't mind, we'll be back.
Generally, a nice restaurant, thankfully different from the usual tourist traps. Small but excellent menu. The waiter is a gem! However, the "mixed" salad (lamb's lettuce, hints of arugula, mushy cherry tomatoes) for €6 was a joke. When we asked if the Gniocchi Cacio & Pepe could please be prepared with Parmesan (we were the only guests at the time), the cook (and apparently the owner) said, "That's not possible, the Pecorino is already in it!" Right. I didn't know that the sauce was made in advance, especially since it's relatively easy to make, and in a high-priced restaurant, no less. Well, I don't like overly strong cheese. The guy then recommended pasta with Gorgonzola and nuts. Completely off-topic, because it's such a strong cheese. His next suggestion was, "Then have a mixed salad!" I guess that was supposed to be funny. It didn't land. The really nice waiter then brought us Fragolino and cookies. I thought that was nice. He sort of salvaged things with his manner.
Conclusion: Cute place, great waiter, but just not for us "normal" folks.

Maybe because we were foreigners, after ordering calamari fritti with polenta, we received the dish without the polenta 🙃 normally I would have pointed it out to the staff, but I'm not a big fan of polenta, so it was actually a plus. However, it is still deceiving customers as we paid full price for the dish. A friend got the carbonara, it was way too salty. He sent the dish back, pointed it out to the staff, but still paid 100%, so there will probably be a separate review about that.

Everything was delicious! From the cicchetti to the first courses, the food was excellent. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly.

Historic location, run by locals, offering cicchetti and traditional local dishes.
The place inside is small but super cozy, it feels like home ❤️ There are other cute tables outside.
The girl is incredibly sweet and we ate really well... we'll be back!
