21/10/2024: My family voted the best hotel for our Italy trip! The view from our room is amazing! Good breakfast buffet with freshly baked croissant, ham, cheese, fruits, etc. Good location with only 10 minutes drive to Bellagio. It might be inconvenience to reach if you don’t have a car. There are about 4-5 free parking spots right on the property.

01/10/2024: Hotel and restaurant in a very good location on Lake Como. We got there during a heavy downpour, and getting there in such conditions was difficult, but I think that on sunny days there is no such problem. The place is right on the lake, and the restaurant has a really beautiful view of the water. If you look closely, you can see the Star Wars villa right on the other side of the lake. Very nice staff, very polite and respectful towards the customer, the rooms have their own atmosphere, but looking at the prices, it is really decent. I liked it there very much, we spent a nice evening in the hotel restaurant, and in the morning we had a delicious breakfast there. I recommend!

13/10/2024: Where to begin? We had a group of 16 visiting Lake Como for our wedding in June and could not have asked for a better experience. From arrival to checkout (5 days total), the staff were attentive, warm, friendly, and the biggest help with such a big week. Cristina especially was so amazing to work with. From coordinating our lodging for so many people to helping plan and organize our wedding dinner, she made the process so smooth from half a world away (we’re based in the U.S.). The location was perfect. Lezzeno is much quieter than Como or Bellagio but still has stunning views. The water ferry port was less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. If you’re driving or planning to arrange private transfers to get around, Lezzeno is about an hour drive from Como and 10-15 minutes from Bellagio. The hotel itself was beautiful; very much a classic Italian villa style. It was well maintained and clean with daily housekeeping. The views from the hotel are incredible, I highly recommend getting a suite or a lakeview room with a balcony (we personally stayed in their suite with a patio). We were impressed with the complimentary breakfast every morning which had plentiful arrangements of pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit, and more! My personal favorite was the self-serve espresso machine which made the most delicious cappuccinos. The restaurant, which is a separate building across the street from the café, had some of the best food we have had in Italy. The bruschetta was our favorite which we enjoyed at every meal and family members raved about the pear ravioli. You could also never miss with the pizza. The staff were very accommodating for such a large group and took great care as we had a couple of dietary restrictions (vegetarian and gluten-free) for some of our guests. As mentioned, we held our wedding dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and it was truly magical. We selected their meat menu, and each course was perfect. The hotel created personalized menus for the dinner which we kept copies of and will be a cherished keepsake. It’s difficult to fully encapsulate how great this hotel is, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing stay when visiting Lake Como. We’ll be back for our 10-year anniversary, Salute!

11/10/2024: We booked this hotel last minute as our campervan's roof was leaking, it was an emergency for us and we managed to book 3 nights on the same day. The hotel staff couldn't have been any more helpful! They helped us find a dry place to store our van, gave us a ladder, made sure we had everything we needed. They were so lovely to us. We can't thank them enough for rescuing us. We also visited the restaurant which was amazing. The breakfast was also very tasty. We hired a boat from the hotel - the guy was really friendly. 10/10 would stay here again! Thank you so much Aurora!!

15/10/2024: Honestamente esperaba mucho mejor para las grandes críticas que recibió este restaurante. Hicimos el menú degustación elegido por el chef, y fue horrible. El servicio comenzó genial, pero luego disminuyó rápidamente una vez que el restaurante comenzó a estar un poco más lleno. Nuestro servidor principal era genial al principio, pero luego desapareció durante toda la noche y no lo vimos hasta el final. Tuvimos otra señora que nos dio nuestros platos, pero fue muy abrupta y siempre se sintió como si estuviera apurada. La única comida que disfrutamos fue la bolsa de diversión, cesta de pan y postre. Todos los platos que nos dieron eran increíblemente, increíblemente salados, que entiendo que es parte de los ingredientes, pero plato tras plato, se vuelve muy unidimensional y bla. Nuestro plato de pasta no se sentía elevado en absoluto - era una mezcla de frijoles y crustáceos salados y el plato principal estaba por todo el lugar con los sabores. Las vistas y el ambiente eran excepcionales, pero no digno de un Michelin en mi opinión. Nos encantan las experiencias gastronómicas y probar cosas nuevas, así que esto fue definitivamente una sorpresa y un bache para nosotros!

09/08/2024: Un buen lugar para comer con una hermosa vista. Al principio el servicio era excelente, pero pronto se volvió bastante malo. El negro (lo siento mucho, no sé su nombre) fue absolutamente excelente, pero creo que fue en su descanso porque cuando no estaba allí, era malo. Pero, y no soy codicioso, pero mi plato de pasta, que era cordero y un tipo de pasta del que nunca había oído hablar, eran tres bocados. Era una cantidad diminuta de comida por 26 euros y no puedo creer que el chef pensara que estaba bien. Y luego vino el queso, solo queso. Quizás sea mi estilo británico, pero no me gusta comer queso solo. Algo de pan habría estado bien o galletas saladas. Sin embargo, fue una noche agradable, pero seguramente una buena cena también puede significar cenar donde realmente estás lleno cuando te vas? Y no soy codicioso.
