08/06/2025: Villa d' Este offered a remarkable experience throughout. The total ambiance of the hotel and the location - as one would imagine - were stunning. From the overall service, to the amenities, to the opportunities to savor a variety of local cultural experiences -- including memorable moments on Lake Como, I could not imagine a better location to savor the vastness of what this beautiful region has to offer. I very much appreciated the variety of plant-based specialties at the eateries and connections with fellow guests and locals, all while absorbing the exquisite views. Indeed, worthy of multiple revisits. Thank you to the professional team that strove to exceed standards of satisfaction.

07/06/2025: The Michelin Guide recommends visiting Villa d'Este in Cernobbio, but they don't let you in, so it's a big disappointment! Uninteresting!!!

26/06/2025: We were there for lunch with two children, ages 5 and 8. The service was very attentive and especially friendly to the children. The food was great, too; a very enjoyable experience!

19/06/2025: I had dinner, a place with a very nice view, you can eat both outside and inside, the place is welcoming inside. I ate pizza, very good and light, decent beer, the dessert, a Braulio sorbet, didn't satisfy me much, it wasn't a sorbet. The only negative note was a waiter, I found him very full of himself and rude with his colleagues, and not very professional with customers I would have given 5 stars ...

12/06/2025: Conosco da tempo questo ristorante, dove più o meno regolarmente veniamo a pranzo in occasioni di festa o per una pizza. Si mangia sicuramente bene e il servizio è sempre gentile. Trovo tuttavia che i prezzi negli anni siano aumentati a dismisura, forse adattandosi alla clientela della vicina Svizzera. In occasione dell'ultimo pranzo con amici italiani (settimana prima di Pasqua 2025) il commento è stato "che prezzi!"

15/06/2025: I can't comment on the hotel, but I've been there several times for lunch. I can recommend it without reservation. I like the ambiance almost better. The hotel is family-run. The owner is attentive and always has a good joke on his lips. The location is quite hidden, so it's worth seeking out.

09/06/2025: Locale che ho frequentato in altre occasioni con soddisfazione. Purtroppo a 2 anni di distanza dall’ultima visita ho vissuto un’esperienza imbarazzante. Antipasto con tortino di finferli patate e fonduta di formaggio mi è stato portato freddo, la tartare con il tartufo non aveva il minimo gusto di tartufo. Le tagliatelle con il sugo di anatra: un piatto con la pasta di bassa qualità totalmente slegata dal sugo. Per quanto riguarda i dolci mi è stata servita la cassata ancora congelata!!! Forse è stata una serata sfortunata ma non penso tornerò visto che i prezzi non sono certo da questo livello di cucina!

13/06/2025: Excellent! My husband and I are New Yorkers, and we were very impressed with the tasting menu. Service was wonderful, there was a tasting selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian and they were flexible to switch dishes! The freshly made bread and chianina tartar were exceptional. Recommend!

19/05/2025: The view from the hotel is absolutely magical. Lorenzo at the front r desk is kind and very informative. The tiny roads in Italy are not for the feint of heart, but this hotel has plenty of parking and once you arrive you are assured a pleasant experience. Would prefer a room on one level.

06/06/2025: I confirm the excellent reputation of this restaurant! Abundant dishes, excellent pizzoccheri and beef goulash. Super welcoming staff and fair prices. Too bad the road to get there is very bumpy otherwise I would go every weekend!!

02/06/2025: Mountain refuge with beautiful panoramic view, cozy dining room with three tables, unpretentious food the least pleasant thing that the owner is not the most friendly (I hope weather-sensitive) given the rainy day)
