07/08/2024: Had a nice meal in a local pizza place in Moderno. Very friendly waitress and delicious food.
Pizzas were great and the coffee and cheesecake were also very tasty.
The highlight was the spaghetti seafood. That was a real experience.
Price was very acceptable.
All in all recommended
06/08/2024: Everything was perfect! The bruschetta, the pizzas, the creme brulee! Lovely little walk from the city center with some nice architecture on the way as well.
SUPER friendly team working there as well!
Would love to come back if we are in the area!

21/07/2024: As soon as you enter you smell a heavenly scent and you no longer know what to choose, it all looks very inviting. In the end I opted for a delicious and soft focaccia, too bad I was just passing through, if I lived nearby I would go there every day and try everything

18/08/2024: Small, fine restaurant, looks very new and super lovely staff. The starter, the trout carpaccio, was amazing. For main courses we had the guinea fowl and the beefsteak, fantastic! Maybe slightly small portions. Top seasoned with delicious salt flakes. Dessert was also great. Next time we'll come back!

21/07/2024: Very nice place and friendly staff. We waited an hour for 2 pizzas and the drinks were overpriced. They brought us the spicy oil in a sachet, I made a mistake putting it on the pizza and it ruined the taste, however I think that if you don't have good oil you can do without keeping it. I think the dough was good because I digested the pizza well

15/08/2024: My expectations were exceeded. The hotel is visually a holiday for the eye, inviting house, breathtaking view of Lake Garda and a beautifully maintained garden. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. You can eat fantastically in the hotel, everything tastes delicious and the locals also came to eat here. I recommend making a reservation so you can get a table outside (with the great view). To swim we took the car, about 5 minutes to the water (we always went swimming at a nearby beach bar). The rooms were very clean. I definitely want to come back. If you get a room, be sure to book it straight away because the hotel is often fully booked. Our stay was a dream :-)
14/08/2024: Very cozy here, the view is great, you can see Lake Garda very clearly. Breakfast is also very good and everything is fresh. You can almost always find parking spaces and the service is very friendly. I strongly assume it's a nice family business.

An obligatory stop for you will be La Sosta where you will be welcomed with generosity and kindness by the owners of this lovely family-run trattoria where everything you want to taste is artfully cooked with genuine ingredients, fresh daily, all at zero kilometre: the pappardelle with mushrooms, lake fish, vegetables from the garden, homemade tiramisu are just some of the dishes they will recommend to give you a foretaste of foods with an ancient, home-made flavour... Enjoy your meal!!

We have eaten here several times with the whole family and have been very satisfied every time.
Fantastic pizzas.
Furthermore, this restaurant is characterized by "quality in simplicity".
Once again, fantastic sweet staff!
17/08/2024: Excellent pizzeria, fast service, tables inside and outside.. low pizza without crust, there were 3 of us. Pizza with beer and bitters/coffee in total. 18.00 euros each... they accept parking cards in front of the restaurant...

22/07/2024: But what a disappointment! While we had just finished a week of magnificent vacation in Manerba del Garda at the Onda Blu Resort (great!), we decided to extend by 3 days and opting for a 4 star: the Antico Monastery! We thought we could treat ourselves to a little luxury but what a disappointment!! We would have been better off going home! The room: planned mountain view, but it was trash view! Service yard, noisy, garbage truck and so on. Air conditioning: less useful than a fan, especially at 36 degrees. It's simple, I slept on the tiles for 2 nights! A hell! The paint on the wall is peeling! The swimming pool: it's not possible to sit there! Lack of deckchairs! Especially when customers place their towels there in the morning and then disappear I don't know where? The dinner: the photos of the restaurant presented on the site have nothing to do with it! It was more of an all-in style canteen, everything we hate, plus the plastic bracelet! And finally, parking spaces are insufficient and not allocated. The last day we had to park in the campsite car park, right next door. In short, we will never set foot in this 4 shooting star hotel again!😡
11/06/2024: Una delle più disgustose pizze assaggiate in 53 anni. Mozzarella amara e probabilmente avariata. Alle mie rimostranze hanno risposto essere sempre la" solita", da sempre usata. Se volete rovinarvi la cena ordinate una pizza al Monastero. Segnalato anche al momento del conto e risposta piccata....PIZZA SCONSIGLIATISSIMA!!
