05/10/2025: While vacationing in Maderno, it was recommended to us for breakfast. Just steps from the main square of San Marco, this delightful family-run pastry shop is located. We were greeted with a smile, kindness, and the professionalism of someone who knows their stuff. Bread and pastries of all kinds, fresh and delicious. You're spoiled for choice! To the side of the building, you can enjoy their breakfast in a small, welcoming garden, but if the weather isn't nice, you can also sit inside. Highly recommended!

23/11/2025: This restaurant serves delicious pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven. A pleasant selection of beers. Fair prices, friendly and attentive service.

25/10/2025: We went on a Saturday night and ordered a lemon soda and a medium beer. A 0.20 cl bottle of lemon soda arrived, when the price listed was 0.33 cl. We told the waitress that it didn't match the price list, and she replied, "I don't know what to say, I'll tell the boss." We thought another bottle would arrive, or at least tell us she wouldn't charge us full price. In reality, she ignored us and pretended nothing had happened. We paid full price at the register. I know, these are small things, but it wouldn't take much to satisfy the customer. Another thing: the beer was undrinkable, due to a faulty keg. If a customer tells you this and other people subsequently order the same beer, at the very least, show up at the tables and replace all the beers; don't wait for everyone to point out that the beer is undrinkable. We found the staff to be unprofessional. I must say the pizza was good.

15/10/2025: Unforgettable experience. There’s no menu, so the server asks you what you would like from a handful of options. The space is cozy and unique, the server is welcoming and juggled all of the customers impressively well by himself, and the food is absolutely exceptional. Probably the best meal I’ve had on my whole trip. Clearly the locals agree, because everyone else seemed to be a local who knew the server. Go and order everything… You won’t regret it.

The ossobuco was a dream. The dishes we ordered were excellent value for money, and we will definitely be back. The desserts are fantastic and delicious. Thank you for the wonderful lunch.

28/08/2025: A flawless two nights in a row at this establishment, bravo! The dishes we ordered were exquisite, especially the parmigiana and ravioli, but also the fresh, homemade tagliatelle. The service was friendly, attentive, fast, and professional, yet very friendly. Sitting on the terrace, the view is superb. What a joy. Thank you 1000 times.

24/09/2025: We've been going there for years, always with our two dogs. This year we were put in the back, which looked more like a camp. The table wasn't set, nor was there anything on it. Our cutlery was handed to us from a dishcloth. At least the food was very good again. Unfortunately, we weren't even asked if we wanted anything to drink, let alone dessert. I don't think the owners really get the hang of how one of the staff treats guests. It's a shame; we'll look for somewhere new where dogs are welcome.
