08/06/2026: Osteria dell'Orologio is an excellent restaurant in Salò. Its traditional fish and meat menu is constantly updated to reflect seasonal ingredients. The staff are friendly and the place is meticulously maintained. It's always a pleasure to visit.

18/05/2026: Passing through Salò looking for a place to eat, we came across this piadineria. The service was excellent and fast, and the piadina was also excellent.
17/05/2026: The old management was good, this one is really difficult to eat, the dough is too soft and the sauces are disgusting.

There are only a few bakeries left with "real" and quality ovens, so take advantage of them.
25/08/2025: Small bakery with delicious rolls and croissants. The saleswoman was very friendly. Everything we tried was delicious. They also offer whole-grain rolls and yellow rolls with turmeric.

05/04/2026: The noodle portions are small and relatively expensive. The restaurant automatically adds a 13% service charge which I did not like.
01/04/2026: Average restaurant. I had spaghetti and a mixed salad and wasn't even close to being full; the cheese came from a bag... mmm... but the price was above average. The wine portion was also very small. Not worth repeating. What a shame. I can make better food at home.

21/10/2025: One of the best clothing outlets I've visited: medium-sized (three large floors of a building on the main shopping street in Salò).
Good basic discounts, which can be significantly increased at times if you have their card (up to 80-90% off). A wide variety of excellent clothing for women and men, and some for children. Really good deals. Friendly, unobtrusive staff.

14/06/2026: Beautiful location overlooking the lake. The large salad was very small for €10, really disappointing. Elsewhere, that would pass as a side salad. The pizza was okay, though a bit bland. The staff was friendly. All in all, average.
04/06/2026: What a shame! Wonderful location, but the service is awful. After 1.5 hours, we still hadn't received our food, and the waiter didn't even come to ask if everything was okay or if we wanted to order more drinks. The table next to us and the table behind us were also complaining about things.
After 1.5 hours, we left without eating. There are so many other good restaurants along the promenade; please, people, go to one of the other places!

18/07/2025: Se vi aspettate educazione dai camerieri non è il posto adatto a voi! E se volete mangiare bene, meglio cambiare posto!
Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per le 21, orario proposto da loro, per poi arrivare e sentirci dire “veloci perché la cucina sta chiudendo”.
Arrivati al tavolo, dopo aver chiesto più volte di avere un tavolo in prima fila (c’erano due tavoli liberi), ci mettono in seconda fila in un tavolo a 2 posti quando avevamo prenotato per 3.
Chiediamo di aggiungere il posto mancante e sbuffando rispondono “vabbè aggiungeremo un posto”.
Con fare sufficiente ci danno un tavolo in prima fila dopo averci fatte accomodare al tavolo precedente.
Al momento dell’apertura della bottiglia il cameriere rovescia metà bottiglia sul tavolo, sporcando tutto e non pulendo.
Arrivano inizialmente 2 antipasti, dicendoci “ah erano 3”.
Successivamente, mentre stavamo mangiando il secondo ci buttano in malo modo il menu dei dolci in mano dicendo “la cucina sta per chiudere”: erano le 22.15.
Nel frattempo chiediamo altro pane (6 FETTE STANTIE SULLA CARTA FORNO) e il cameriere appena si gira inizia a sbuffare con dei gesti impropri davanti a noi.
Nel frattempo che noi stavamo mangiando, i camerieri continuavano a chiedere alla gente se avesse finito di mangiare perché volevano chiudere e sparecchiare. Erano sempre le 22.30.
Che dire… per quello che abbiamo pagato era meglio il McDonald’s, nell’antipasto con capesante il burro è arrivato congelato e il piatto con il polpo era più gommoso delle big bubbles.

17/07/2025: Sul lago per lavoro, sono ritornata in questo splendido posto vista lago, dopo aver avuto un'ottima esperienza qualche tempo fa. In una serata splendida abbiamo consumato una cena a base di pesce con ottimo vino e un dolce davvero squisito. Il personale è stato disponibile e carino ad accogliere le nostre esigenze, in particolare a soddisfare determinate richieste dovute ad intolleranze alimentari. Non c'è due senza tre quindi tornerò sicuramente.

17/07/2025: Ordentlig fin restaurant, men helt utrolig dårlig service. Rett og slett elendig. Maten stod ikke til forventning og var ikke verdt det man betalte. Chicken nuggets til barn var schnitzel. Pasta var veldig aldente. Måtte jakte på servitør for å betale.
