01/01/2026: My family and I had a wonderful Christmas. During our 4-day full-board stay, we were treated excellently: Mrs. Rita at reception was lovely and very kind, the staff were always helpful, and thanks to a competent chef, I must say that the food was plentiful and delicious with a wide selection! Welcoming, clean hotel, renovated rooms and bathrooms, excellent linens. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back! Thanks to all the staff 🙏. CHIARA VERTUA

06/01/2026: Hands down, the best place in the entire area. I've been coming here for years and have always had a great time, whether at the bar for a hot chocolate or a nice beer after skiing, or at the apres-ski, which are always top-notch and never boring. I finally managed to go to the restaurant recently, and they didn't disappoint. The food was excellent, and despite the superior quality of the ingredients and the execution, the price was absolutely in line with the local fare. Two of us ate excellent ravioli, a risotto, and a perfectly cooked tomahawk steak. Another positive is the extensive and well-stocked wine selection. The restaurant offers both typical local dishes, as expected from a mountain restaurant, as well as more sophisticated and classy dishes that perfectly suit the ambience: warm and welcoming, yet classy at the same time. If you need a warm place to refuel and enjoy the mountains, or a place to spend a great evening, La Baracca is the place for you.

06/01/2026: Had dinner during the Christmas holidays. Fair prices, excellent food, a highly renowned and well-kept venue. The open kitchen is beautiful, and the view through the huge windows overlooking the slopes is breathtaking. We really enjoyed it, it's been a long time since we've had such good food. Compliments to the blond guy at the counter, who was kind, friendly, and very approachable for someone so young. We hope to return.

28/01/2026: Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The service was extremely unfriendly and completely ruined our evening. The main courses were average at best, especially considering the high prices. Desserts sounded very tempting in the menu descriptions, but in reality they were not tasty at all. We expected much more and will not be coming back.

28/01/2026: The menu is quite interesting but poorly translated into English and it's difficult to choose something for children, even if they are not picky. Beef fillet was very nice. Venison stew and spinach risotto - ok. Desserts - they sound and look nice but don't taste that good. "Local tiramisu" is almost tasteless. The prices are high, portions quite small. The staff doesn't speak English. We ordered black coffee and got espresso. The owner was very rude to us. She did not deal with a problem we had professionally. She ruined our night. We don't recommend that place.

02/08/2025: Siamo stati accolti dalla signora, molto gentile, che ci ha accompagnato al piano sopra, davvero molto carino, abbiamo mangiato degli affettati e formaggi molto buoni, abbiamo poi preso tagliatelle ai finferli e porcini e secondi polenta con brasato eccellenti, per concludere un ottimo strudel, torneremo!

19/07/2025: Hermosa ubicación, pero ahí es donde termina cualquier positividad. No se le dio ninguna opción o menú que era boloñesa o dejar. En retrospectiva deberíamos habernos ido. Boloñesa sosa e insípida servida con un gruñido por personal grosero e ignorante. Si usted está pasando, entonces el hecho es que no se desvanecerá y morirá de desnutrición antes de encontrar un lugar alternativo. Aunque para ser justos, una muerte lenta y miserable por inanición puede ser una opción más sabrosa para llamar a este ristorante.

12/11/2025: If I were to return to Ponte di Legno (I hope so), this would be the first place I'd happily stop. The atmosphere was friendly and courteous... and above all, I drank and ate well!

23/10/2025: For a post-walk siesta or an aperitif with friends, a top-notch welcome is reserved at any time in a fairy-tale setting.

12/01/2026: The lamb chops were really good, as were the other dishes, and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere was pleasant. Reading so many negative reviews, I'm not sure if we were lucky or if something has changed. We'll be back.

08/01/2026: We went 2 times with our small daughters (4&6 ). Pizza is excellent, meat is high quality. We had baked potatoes very delicious. Super recommended. They were fast and nice . During high season book in advance or arrive early

01/01/2026: The food and place are quite good, unfortunately I have to give one star for the manners of the tall, almost shaved waiter with quite annoying manners and irony with jokes and unprofessional behavior, if you don't like your job, change it 😉 next time I'll go eat elsewhere and I will also advise against it to the other 30 collaborators who will work in the area.

30/12/2025: I didn't like it at all: It was expensive and poorly cooked. If I ask for a rare second course and get overcooked, hard-to-chew meat, that's not good at all, especially if I point it out and you pretend not to notice. Finally, a slice of overpriced cake that I even had left over. Never again.

11/01/2026: An adult and two children stopped for lunch. No coffee or dessert, just a starter, a paltry main course, and polenta for €84. Small portions and ridiculous prices. We left hungry. New management, but I don't recommend stopping.

06/01/2026: A mountain lodge near the slopes, modernized with tasteful details, impeccable service, and a variety of traditional and non-traditional dishes. The only drawback is the slightly high prices.

08/12/2025: I won't go into detail about what the waiter did, I'll just say THE POODLE WAS RIGHT TO WANTED TO BITE HIM. If there were an Oscar for dislike, I'd give it to him!! (He'll treat you like you're an idiot.) And reading the reviews, I think many would agree. The food is good, but if you go, be prepared before you go in to treat him like he deserves by responding in kind. 😏 That's reason enough not to come back. (Message to the waiter... watch out, the "sugar" one always comes along, better to be respectful of others.)
