21/04/2024: A few starters to share with friends and a second course: fifty euros each. I found it a bit excessive. Maybe the drinking brought up the price, but I don't think we consumed more than a €30 bottle for every 3-4 people. Maybe I'll try it again in two to evaluate it better given the many positive reviews. The restaurant is on the road that leads to Mount Maddalena, parking is a bit limited and if it goes well you can park somewhere outside. Pleasant environment with the possibility of eating inside or outside. Of the appetizers I was able to do a little tasting (about a quarter of a portion) of the cured meats, the tartare and the tomato soup: I would say they were all average, no wow effect. As a second course I chose the lamb chops: even those were average, being lamb I would have preferred them a little more cooked inside although I prefer the other meats rare. Among the courses for the others, the Milanese cutlet seemed very large and inviting, while the fillet was not particularly abundant. The water is purified tap water, a choice I don't particularly like. I would say good and bitter service kindly offered.

25/03/2024: All good. Good staff, good food, lots of choice and moderate prices for being in the center of Brescia! I recommend the knafe, which is a delicious dessert. Ricotta and pistachio lovers will love it! Their ginger non-alcoholic drink is also fantastic.

12/05/2024: Traditional and cozy place, with very friendly service, but slightly disappointing dishes. The first ones that we tried were excellent, but the second ones, portions were correct, bordering on scarce, and with details that you don't expect, like a steak tartare cut with a processor and similar to a pasta. Correct quality-price.

01/05/2024: I chose this tavern by pure chance so I was satisfied with the entire environment, cleanliness, service and of course dishes cooked with care and of high quality. I highly recommend it and I will certainly return, compliments to Mr Codini👍

01/05/2024: Clean, tastefully furnished, friendly and competent staff. Excellent culinary offerings including quality meats. The wine list is excellent, as is the selection of beers. Try the house digestive at the end of the meal. All of this therefore presupposes your wallet.

01/05/2024: Good evening. I've known this place for years and I've never had any problems, but a few days ago during a dinner... I was DISAPPOINTED... a friend and I had spaghetti with clams and a friend of mine had a pizza... everything was "really inedible"... the pasta was practically plain (canteen style) with 5 clams and some tomatoes... there was no sauce, nothing at all... ditto the pizza.. How come???? Have you changed the chef? I'm very sorry because you have a name acquired over time and I can't explain this descent. I am sorry.

02/04/2024: Very nice place with personality, I had tagliolini with hare salmì, a slice of beef with baked potatoes, tiramisu and coffee. All very good, the cut was phenomenal, the meat melted in your mouth.
