I don't recommend the Kimchi Grilled Cheese. Having eaten both real kimchi and real grilled cheese, this dish disappointed us: it fails to showcase either.

The food was high-quality and very good, but the service was extremely slow despite a reservation, and above all, it was exorbitantly expensive. We ordered two croque madames, which are basically two very simple toasts (€13.50 each), plus two pastries, a coffee (very ordinary), and a matcha latte, for a total of €65. Personally, I think it's overpriced despite the quality; they're very simple dishes, and the wait is excessive.

A unique experience. We went to Checchi's this morning for brunch. The atmosphere is very refined but not pretentious, warm and welcoming. The staff is very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. They gave us excellent coffee recommendations and it was clear they knew what they were talking about. The food was quality; we shared two savory dishes and two sweet ones, and they were all excellent and plentiful. The bread was out of this world, the bacon was crispy, the salmon melted in your mouth, the Panchecchi and French toast were full of flavors that paired perfectly… I can still feel the urge to drool just thinking about it. The price isn't cheap, but given the obvious quality of the ingredients and the size of the portions, it's definitely justified. Thanks to all the staff for the experience, and congratulations.
