28/09/2025: Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean, modern, and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is plentiful and excellent. We also had dinner, and everything was delicious, especially the spinach risotto, which was truly fantastic! Wide selection of wines, including local ones.
28/09/2025: A very welcoming, family-run hotel. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and equipped with every amenity. The property features a sauna and whirlpool, available to guests. The restaurant is excellent, serving traditional dishes made with local, seasonal ingredients.

27/07/2025: I've been wanting to have lunch at this restaurant for a long time, where my daughter and husband had already been guests, praising the goodness of their plans. We had booked for 1 pm and were seated promptly. The waitress came to us right away to take our order because, since there were only two of us, they wanted to make sure our order went out before a table of 16. After the appetizer, almost an hour went by without the second course arriving. We politely asked a couple of times because we were hungry and to make sure our order hadn't been lost, because that can happen, but we were told that there were a lot of people and that, having ordered the appetizer, we had ended up in line. Not understanding the dynamic, I asked how this was possible, given that the famous table of 16, which was supposed to receive the courses after us, had already drunk their coffee??? The answer was that we had the appetizer, they didn't and we would have ended up in line. They could have simply replied that the order had been lost, I really didn't understand the excuse! By 2 PM, the tiramisu my daughter had raved about was finished. I left feeling a bit disappointed, and without even a "sorry"... because, as I said, I'd been wanting to try those excellent dishes for a long time. It's a shame what happened. I really hope next time it goes differently, and I'll be sure to order all the dishes together, including my missed tiramisu!
27/07/2025: Cibo sempre più caro, cibi scongelati e già pronti. Prezzi troppo alti!!! Sconsiglio di venire a mangiare qua. La pizza è cruda e con prodotti scadenti

17/09/2025: A very cute and welcoming little place! We stopped for an aperitivo (very good spritz) with something to eat, then we ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses (very good!) accompanied by bread and breadsticks. Recommended for anyone passing through!
06/09/2025: Located at the bottom of a ski slope, overlooked by Pizzo Camino, a beautiful mountain... it's worth a visit...

They brought us a spectacular grilled meat, cooked to perfection.
The price was definitely reasonable.
13/08/2025: A simple, old-fashioned place with a warm welcome and some traditional dishes. Even a simple stop and refreshment at the bar will immerse you in nature and the scents of the forest.

Sincere, traditional cuisine: polenta, game, Scalvine crests, and local cheeses.
Friendly and welcoming service, fair prices.
👉 In short: a genuine place, perfect after a day in the mountains—with authentic flavors and a true valley atmosphere.
19/09/2025: I had lunch at the Edelweiss restaurant in Schilpario last weekend.
A friend had already highly recommended the place, and it didn't disappoint. In fact, the lunch was fantastic.
Despite being in the mountains, the seafood is incredibly fresh and divinely cooked. We all ordered the seafood spaghetti and found it delicious and flavorful, well-seasoned, and with plenty of mussels, clams, calamari, scampi, and shrimp. The photo speaks for itself.
A special thanks to chef Giancarlo: his dishes reveal the care and passion he puts into his work.

Menu nuovo e nuovi assaggi che ti lasciano l' acquolina al palato.

Hotel Ristorante "San Marco"

21/10/2025: There were 6 of us eating... a platter with 3/4 types of cold cuts, but it was really poor. I counted the slices of pork and there were 4, not even a slice each! It would have been like a platter for 2. Small shanks, meat with mushrooms, very few mushrooms and everything in sauce. Furthermore, it was accompanied with 4 baked potatoes (these were counted too, so they could have left them out). We asked for a small plate of sauces on the side and it was not possible to have it (I don't understand why). The dishes did not represent the local area of the place and the choices on the menu were limited.
20/10/2025: As promised in my previous review, we returned to the Hotel San Marco for dinner. I want to CONTINUE my compliments and compliments to the young, friendly, and very kind managers. We ate wonderfully, especially the venison tartare, which was delicious! And everything else was delicious too. For me, this is and will always be a must-visit in Val di Scalve. Well done, well done, well done!
