Bar Ristoro Rifugio Baracca Cimalbosco-Campelli In Schilpario

08/04/2026: The menu has just been updated. Still minimal, as per the restaurant's tradition, but with meat and fish dishes crafted to perfection. The choice to pair ingredients with highly contrasting flavors is a great success. The wine list perfectly matches the menu: limited selection, but with medium-high quality wines that complement the dishes. The atmosphere is fantastic: limited seating, and therefore not too noisy. The wait times between courses are appropriate for the food. The wait staff are very polite, friendly, and not at all intrusive when refilling glasses. Although the restaurant and tables are spotless, an old-fashioned person like me misses a table cover. It's also a shame that the dishes are served without taking a minute to describe them and explain how they were prepared. But these are minor details. CUT is definitely among the top 5 restaurants in the Caravaggio-Treviglio-Cassano area and deserves to be visited more than once.
