22/10/2025: The Rikaroka hotel is much more than you expect: it is NOT the usual B&B where the rooms are the recovery of old furniture, the lights don't work, the bathroom is small and the sheets are those recovered from home...NOT HERE, EVERYTHING IS MODERN, SPACIOUS EVEN BEYOND THE NECESSARY, HOME AUTOMATION IS EVERYWHERE AND YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE IN A ROMANTIC 4* HOTEL. The Rikaroka is Antonio!!, excellent at welcoming and incredibly friendly. Together with his wife (tireless) and children, he manages to provide excellent service even in the restaurant on the ground floor: very good dishes, excellent pizza, and very fast but attentive service. It also has several garages to leave the cars, all within 40/50 meters of each other. We were his guests in June, and I apologize for not having reviewed it before. We will definitely return, having relatives in Albenga, as it has now become our reference hotel.

04/10/2025: The chef picks his nose while working the counter, not to mention his shoes have been dirty for months. Some corners of the place are dusty (for example, the counter supporting the chef statue). The floor is clean only in a few places. They keep cleaning products on the counter, stuck to the food, or where the coffee is made, an excellent place to avoid cross-contamination. Two waiters are awake, the others are not. It's always chaotic. A chaotic place that has a new style mixed with the old trattoria. It's a bit expensive, the dishes are generous. The gentleman who I assume is the owner is always shouting.

26/09/2025: A wonderful surprise in the heart of Albenga. A restaurant offering traditional Ligurian and other dishes, overlooking Piazza Domenico Tricheri. A simple location with a large and welcoming outdoor terrace. You're immediately welcomed by Roberto, a courteous and friendly person who made the entire evening a memorable one. The digital menu offers appetizers, first courses, jacket potatoes, meats such as tagliata and tartare, burgers, salads, and desserts. For drinks, in addition to water, wine, and soft drinks, there are also local beers. Service is prompt and attentive. The food is excellent, very tasty, and has bold flavors. The jacket potatoes are absolutely delicious. The bill is perfect, and the prices are not at all high and very affordable. In conclusion, I highly recommend trying this restaurant and will definitely return as soon as I have the opportunity.

11/07/2025: We're on vacation here in Albenga, and for my daughter's birthday, we ordered a cake from this pastry shop. The staff are incredibly friendly, the price is fair, and the cake is excellent. Every time you come in, they always give you a taste of one of their sweet treats. After picking up the cake, they also gave me a bag of savory tarallini because they've been making savory ones for a year now... Highly recommended!

28/08/2025: Pernanbucco is THE restaurant in Albenga, without comparison: undoubtedly the best in town. The fish here is incredibly fresh, served in generous portions, and prepared with care that highlights the ingredients without unnecessary frills. Simple, authentic dishes are cooked with a sure hand and excellent quality ingredients. The staff is wonderful: welcoming, professional, attentive, and always smiling, helping to create that warm atmosphere that transforms dinner into a special experience. In a local scene full of identical pizzerias, Pernanbucco is a rare gem: a true, old-fashioned restaurant with personality, identity, and quality. Those seeking a true, authentic, and unforgettable gastronomic experience must choose this place.

28/10/2025: Centrally located, but with very close parking because it's just outside the city walls. It's a typical, simple but well-kept osteria that gets to the point. I really enjoyed the food, and the value for money was reasonable. We had two starters, two main courses, two desserts, two coffees, and a half bottle of wine, and we spent €33 each.

The dishes were meticulously prepared, the wine excellent, and to top it all off, the service impeccable... Careful and very kind... What more can I say? An excellent dinner...

06/10/2025: I absolutely recommend Nino's! The meat is truly delicious: fresh, tender, and served in generous portions. The menu is varied and offers many excellent choices. The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing, set in a charming courtyard in the heart of Albenga's historic center.

13/09/2025: This was our second dinner at this restaurant. The first courses were excellent, just like last time. The second courses, the mixed fried fish and grilled calamari, were particularly tough. The dessert was good.

16/11/2025: A good seaside restaurant with a varied menu, quality ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, and excellent service. One piece of advice: off-menu options should be written down so you can accurately assess ingredients and prices. The reservation system is excellent.

16/11/2025: Beautiful location, very good service, very kind staff. I didn't give it the highest score because of a short wait for one dish (but it was Saturday night, so that's understandable), but it deserves the highest rating! High-quality food, even gluten-free options. I especially recommend the desserts!! I've never had such delicious desserts, and they're all homemade!

24/10/2025: I'm desperately searching for a flaw, a defect, a shortcoming... I can't give a full-star review for everything: the welcome, the location, the high-quality ingredients, the service... I'm afraid I won't be believed! The welcome entrée, the small farewell pastry, and in between, the high-quality dishes... a seafood and mountain fry, or a mind-blowing saffron ravioli... and then the portions!!!! Not abundant... more! How wonderful to see people who love their work so much... well done!! The price? But what does the price matter with a dinner like this!! (In any case, absolutely in line with the high quality expressed!!) See you soon...

24/09/2025: The menu is straightforward, and all the dishes we ordered were very good and a bit off the beaten track. The octopus was perfect, the paccheri al dente and the baccala were excellent. The caldi frutta con gelato was a worthy finale. The bottle of the local Pigato was highly recommended. So full marks also for the very attentive service. We'd be happy to return.
