04/11/2025: Great spot for breakfast!! As a family of non-vegans, we loved everything we got here. The smoothie bowl was super light and refreshing - a nice break from all the pastries we had been eating. The owners were the loveliest people we met on the whole trip. It was very clear that they truly care about their customers.
16/10/2025: What a pleasure to find this place in Riomaggiore! We had all our breakfasts there. The welcome is extremely warm, I loved the yogurt bowl and the many choices of fresh fruit for the smoothies 🌱

08/03/2026: A very nice restaurant located in the beautiful Volastra, halfway between Corniglia and Manarola. Here I had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic pesto pasta and an unforgettable fried fish dish! The host and the wait staff were excellent.
We'll be back!
02/12/2025: While staying in Volastra, we decided not to look for a restaurant elsewhere, so we simply walked to this local restaurant. Despite not having a reservation, we were warmly welcomed. We sat outside on the terrace, which was still warm and pleasant enough even in October - especially at a beautiful sunset.
The waiter gave us excellent advice on food and wine. From the appetizer to the main course and dessert, everything was really delicious. They offer traditional dishes, mostly made from local ingredients, with an emphasis on fish and seafood, but they also have a few meat dishes.
We were so pleased with the food and service that we returned another evening - and again enjoyed a superb dinner and local wine (we tried their rosé and white wine, both excellent). Pleasant and authentic

24/02/2026: This is a lovely little restaurant run with passion and skills by a young team.
We visited on a Saturday lunchtime in February. We secured our reservation on-line. The host presented and explained the menu to us giving us the history and philosophy of the restaurant.
Our choices followed a complimentary (and delicious) amuse bouche. We couldn't be happier.
This is a little gem worth a detour.
A note on getting there... The train is the obvious way... Driving is possible but there is extremely limited parking (one multi storey car park) and it would ruin your day if you went in mid-to-high season.
We will definitely go again.

08/10/2025: The pasta was mediocre, rather plain, and the pizza was small for its price with too much sauce on it. The prices are significantly above average.
08/10/2025: Our waiting time for only the drinks was way toooooo looooong. And once I wanted to explain why we were unhappy I was constantly interrupted, being shown the team is not interested in listening to the feedback.
And then I read their replies here to negative reviews.... well, clearly shows off that if one tourist is not coming their will be another one to replace him\her. That's a pity what over tourism does to the service quality :( Better avoid the place not to spoil your whole impression of Cinque Terre as this is the strongest and most negative emotion I have after the trip :(

21/02/2026: This place was really good. A delicious break while walking around Cinque Terre. Service was really friendly, and we got a cone that was crispy and fresh. Be weary of the seagulls! Visited April 2025, was going through my Italy photos and said I have to leave a review.
06/01/2026: We were on a day tour and this spot was suggested to us. We bought the calamari. It was amazing. We paid roughly $17 aud for the small. The staff was very friendly, the wait time was minimal and I think I can safely say, the calamari was the best I've had. It was lightly salted and came with the option of adding a hint of lemon. Overall it was an absolute pleasure. I would highly recommend.

29/10/2025: we absolutely loved this meal!!! learn some basic italian to order your food and enjoy the freshest pasta + sauce combo of your choice. the woman working in the restaurant was kind and warm to us, and watching her prepare our food was super cool. the pasta was the best we had in CT - you don’t need to sit down at a fancy place to enjoy bomb pasta and incredible pesto!! the serving sizes were generous and i loved that you could customize your combo. give them a try, you won’t be disappointed 😊

05/03/2026: A restaurant with a view of the sea and the Cinque Terre coast. Magnificent scenery. The manager, however, leaves much to be desired. He's not very courteous, insisting on having you sit at a table so you can charge for service. Even standing, the prices are exorbitant: €2 for a coffee, €3 for a tiny slice of cake.
My biker friends and I will never set foot in there again.
In response to the manager's comment:
If 20 people were disappointed, there must be a reason. There were tables in front of the bar, but you insisted on having us sit outside. We pointed out that we had to get back to Florence and didn't have time to linger.
What bothered us was the lack of courtesy. We could have overlooked the prices, but given how we were treated, we felt it was fair to point it out.
Our position was further supported by the apologies from the girls (your staff), who, when we left, said: "Sorry, and thank you for your patience." Hold on to those girls, because they know how to treat customers and you should learn from them.
24/02/2026: Perfect stop along the road for a quick bite to eat, a nice drink, and beautiful views! Nothing overly complicated or fancy, but nice people and good food!

**Response to the owner: Exactly! If you're on vacation, update your Google hours to "temporarily closed," as many places in town have done; that's usually how it works.

12/09/2025: When I ask if the shrimp are with their shell the waitress tell me 2 times “no shell no shell” , finally 3 fried shrimp with their shell …. Very disappointed. for 10euro that was a mixt with squid and octopus which were ok.
I should have pick the store just next to it, 1 more euro but the shrimp were without theirs shell
What is even the point of fried shrimp with theirs shell beside needing a hand wash and eating a cooked shrimp with no fried dough on it …
At least the squid/octopus get some fried dough on it …
