26/10/2025: The perfect place to stay in Cinque Terre! A lovely little hotel in the old town of Monterosso- undoubtedly the best town to stay in in the Cinque Terre. Our room was a good size, with dual aspect and a cute balcony looking out onto the street. The best part of this hotel is the incredible garden/terrace, with incredible views. Breakfast was great, with various options each day. Look no further for somewhere to stay in Monterosso- Hotel Amici is perfect.

20/10/2025: My partner and I were traveling through northern Italy and stayed here for a weekend. At first, we were intimidated by the narrow access road, but it was worth it! The cottage we rented was clean and well-equipped with a comfortable bed. The only caveat: ask for the Wi-Fi password immediately upon check-in, as there's almost no signal there. If they offer dinner, definitely take it! (But come really hungry! 😉). The food is made on site by the owners and is delicious. During the meal, the music from the record player and candles on the tables created a wonderful atmosphere. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the owners' daughter, who served us at dinner, was incredibly kind. I wholeheartedly recommend it and hope to return.
30/09/2025: We didn't receive a very friendly welcome. The site is quite remote, and we had traveled there especially. The reception was more along the lines of, "Who's bothering me?"
It was already 6:00 PM, and the owner said they would be closing the next day. He seemed almost pleased to see we had a dog with us, as dogs aren't allowed. It's not stated on the website, but it's enough to say it anyway. Not a word of regret or recommendations for an alternative destination in the middle of nowhere. Thank you for nothing.
