The meal starts off with a bang: crusty bread, fragrant olive oil, and churned butter of exceptional quality. Each dish is a lovely surprise, full of flavor and carefully presented. The service is attentive without being overly formal, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The waiters are extremely kind. A well-deserved Michelin star for this small restaurant that made every moment very special for us!

It's one of those rare places where you immediately feel at home, thanks to an authentic, warm, and relaxed atmosphere, where time seems to slow down. The real star, however, is the spaghetti allo scoglio. A dish that might seem unpredictable elsewhere, here is an absolute certainty: fragrant, balanced, rich in flavor and seafood. The pasta is always al dente, the sauce enveloping, with the freshest seafood that expresses all the generosity of the Mediterranean. It's the classic dish I order every time, and every time it reminds me why I keep coming back. The courtesy of the service is another reason why this osteria deserves all its stars. The staff is always smiling, attentive but never intrusive, ready to offer expert and helpful advice. You can sense a genuine passion for hospitality, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. 17/08/2025: This is my second time eating here, and I've had a great experience. The table service and speed of delivery are a bit lacking, but the quality is good. Prices are average. One bonus is that you can eat indoors in the air conditioning, which is a plus on hot days, given that there are often no cool places in the area.

07/08/2025: Very nice cocktails, near the train station and in a nice pedestrianised area with other outdoor dining resturants nearby to add to the general atmosphere. Would recommend the espresso Martinis (€6 along with the other cocktails).

The dishes were truly flavorful, refined, and full of character—a real culinary delight, you can tell the food is prepared with passion. The team set the bar very high for the savory dishes, so much so that we expected a dessert to be just as good... but unfortunately, it was a little lacking. Special mention to the waitresses: smiling, attentive, and ultra-professional—they greatly contributed to the positive experience. A big congratulations to the whole team! We'll be back with pleasure. A great family time.

01/04/2025: This bar is the best bar I have ever tried and Gianni is wonderful, very kind and welcoming, he makes wonderful dishes, the place is very nice and comfortable as it is located in the city center and there is no annoying noise of any kind. To top it off this bar is super nice

27/08/2025: The cannoli had a strong pistachio flavor and was slightly sweet. The tiramisu was delicious! Not too sweet! The staff originally said it couldn't be eaten right away because it would take an hour to thaw. We said we could wait, but we couldn't communicate. In the end, they served it right away. Thank you so much! The staff were very friendly. It's much better than the gelato shop outside the station. Their fig gelato isn't as good as the one at Niva in Cannes.

26/08/2025: This time, I found the seafood menu a bit limited. The appetizers were excellent (I tried the tasting menu). I was a bit disappointed by the linguine with clams and bottarga, both because of the almost nonexistent bottarga and, more importantly, because of the fragments of broken clam shells that almost caused me problems. The service was professional and the location was always charming. Prices were above average.

11/07/2025: How could you not appreciate the good music, excellent wine list, and delicious food served before the Marostica Summer Festival concert? Even on an unusual occasion, La Pergola proved to be a wonderful discovery. Kudos to the owners for their friendliness, helpfulness, and excellent food. Highly recommended and definitely worth revisiting, perhaps with a little more time to sample more of the interesting selection. See you soon, then!

23/02/2025: I hadn't been to this bar in a while and I was pleasantly surprised. It is ideal for having a chat with friends because it is very quiet. Clean, friendly and fast staff, one of the few places in Ventimiglia where drinking a coffee doesn't cost a robbery. I haven't tried anything, but they have a wide assortment of appetizers and croissants. It deserves it.

03/08/2025: A restaurant that's all you can eat without being so! You choose from the menu and write down the dish code on a piece of paper! The food isn't bad, but the dishes are brought out after a long wait each time. And the table service leaves something to be desired. They don't clear away the food as soon as your dish is finished; you always have to signal, and you feel like you're bothering them. The all-you-can-eat buffets in Nice are much better and cheaper than this one. I don't recommend it.
