16/09/2024: Prima volta in questo ristorante nell’entroterra, esperienza unica, abbiamo optato per il menù mare,orto e terra che comprendeva anche il piccione con fichi melanzane e sardine, 15 portate caratterizzate da accostamenti inattesi che coniugano i sapori dei prodotti della zona con i gusti del mare. Particolare menzione all’ostrica, riso e alghe… eccezionale. Di livello anche la proposta della cantina, sicuramente torneremo…

24/08/2024: Menù delicato e Fine, piatti divertenti ,con un ottimo equilibrio dei sapori e delle consistenze, Scelta accurata delle materie prime. Menu estivo da 14 portate, spicca l’amore per lo chef per il pomodoro! Presente e protagonista in 4 portate. Complimenti ad Antonio che è in continua evoluzione e miglioramento. Dolci leggermente sottotono rispetto al resto, Due calici di vino scelti dal responsabile di sala, ottimi ma troppo cari, personale della sala ben formato, empatico e socievole, tranne uno che,immagino involontariamente, è stato scortese. La scelta dell’acqua non è da sottovalutare in uno stellato, spesso e volentieri la sparea frizzante, rimane il più delle volte sgasata.

25/08/2024: We went to the restaurant last night. They were very quick with their service and the staff was very helpful and courteous. The dishes are simple and of good quality with adequate prices (cheap compared to current average prices). We will definitely return here for dinner on our next stay in Ventimiglia.

30/11/2024: Passing through to go to the Ventimiglia market I wanted to eat in an authentic restaurant which offers good meat What a surprise Warm welcome, incredible food The piece of Angus beef is a treat, tender and delicious meat Real fresh products The fries were crispy and the arugula salad that came with it was a treat. Go there with your eyes closed because it’s a restaurant we like. Thank you for your welcome, your smile!!!!! I would even give 10 stars

28/11/2024: Piacevole sorpresa come sosta durante un lungo viaggio in macchina infrasettimanale. Siamo stati coccolati dalla responsabile di sala ed è stata una esperienza tra i sapori dell’autunno e del mare, una gioia per il palato, dalle petites entrées dello chef al caffè!

12/11/2024: Das Sterne-Restaurant (Michelin) liegt etwas unscheinbar in einer Seitenstraße nahe des Bahnhofs, auf das wir über den tavole.doc Führer aufmerksam geworden sind. Wir nahmen im Innenraum Platz, der in gedeckten Farben gehalten ist. Es gibt auch eine kleine Außenterrasse, die allerdings gleich an den Parkplatz angrenzt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und professionell bedient. Alle Etappen des Degustationsmenüs wurden bis auf den letzten Farbtupfer erklärt. Keine Frage: hier ist ein Meister seines Fachs am Werk. Die einzelnen Zutaten waren frisch und von besonderer Qualität. Was dann aus diesen Zutaten gezaubert wurde, war überdurchschnittlich. Ein wunderbares Tartare, ein auf den Punkt gegarter Oktopus, eine wunderbare Komposition aus lokalem Fisch und exotischen Salaten ... das alles mit weiteren Geschmacksnoten und Essenzen, die teils selbst noch einmal verfeinert wurden (zum Beispiel fermentierte Blaubeeren) - wirklich hohe Kochkunst. Die Entenstreifen zum Hauptgang hätten für uns etwas mehr gegart sein können. Ein kunstvolles Dessert rundete das Menü ab. Der engagierte und innovative Küchenchef hat dem Restaurant den sehr passenden Namen "Garten der Geschmäcker" gegeben. Das Erlebnis hat natürlich seinen Preis (92,- p.P. exkl. Getränke).

27/09/2024: Après une journée à Menton. Nous avons trouvé ce restaurant à quelques minutes de la frontiere. Situé en hauteur. Nous avons une vue plongeantz sur Menton, Monaco... ce fut une belle surprise. Arrivés à 19h15. Y avait seulement une table de prise et vers 20h30 les autochtones sont arrivés. La décoration est un peu vieillotte mais le peincipal cest l’assiette La carte est réduite. Tout est fait maison. Pris les antipasti, pasta aux cèpes, raviolis et pour les garçons des pastas aux pesto et un pichet de vin blanc. C'était excellent. Malheureuse pas pris de desserts. On retournera à midi cet automne. A recommander

28/07/2024: Such a hidden gem! The views are incredible and the food was delicious. We had an early flight the morning after and since this hotel is within 1h of nice airport this hotel was perfect. It feels like arriving at an oasis in the mountains.

Ah... I forgot a beautiful display at the entrance with fresh cold cuts and seasonal products. 26/10/2024: A thousand thanks! As always, in my opinion the best pastry shop in Ventimiglia. Both the cake and the pastries were impeccable. Super! Professionalism, friendliness and fair prices... which doesn't hurt.

08/06/2024: Au milieu des terrasses bruyantes, il y a ce petit restaurant discret niché dans un coin de rue piétonne agréable. L’ambiance y est bien plus calme mais pas moins chaleureuse : la décoration et le personnel très serviable y sont pour beaucoup. La carte est courte, gage de qualité. Les choix font la part belle alla pasta. Les propositions sont simples, des plats authentiques, sans fioritures. Parfait pour une entrée en matière dans l’univers culinaire italien. Des antipasti, composés de fritures (sardines, courgettes, panisse, pommes de terre) accompagnent le spritz bien rafraîchissant. Gli spaghetti alle vongole réveillent les sens grâce à l’omniprésence d’ail : ses effluves sont appétissantes. Il donne de la texture à la « sauce » qui se résume à de l’huile d’olive, du vin blanc et du persil. Sa puissance suffit à assaisonner le plat (oubliez sel et poivre, au risque d’être saturé en saveurs). La quantité de coquillages et de pâtes est suffisamment copieuse. Nous n’avons pas goûté aux desserts, mais sans doute que le tiramisu et les crêpes sont la continuité parfaite de ce repas réconfortant. C’est approuvé. Une adresse à ne pas oublier.
