07/11/2024: Proprietari molto accoglienti, tutti i piatti che abbiamo assaggiato erano abbondanti e saporiti. Pietanze della tradizione romana e qualche novità. Ottima la verza al forno. Ci hanno offerto le ciambelline al vino. Prezzi nella norma, ottimo servizio

28/07/2024: Despite numerous visits to Rome I had never visited the Basilica of San Poalo outside the walls and this time I passed by almost by chance. However, I was amazed by the majesty, beauty, brightness and richness of the interior. Although I didn't initially appreciate the external portico, which covers the splendid façade, I reevaluated everything once I entered through the gates and instead felt welcomed and "protected" by it. The visit is highly recommended.

01/08/2024: Atmosfera stupenda. Servizio impeccabile. La cucina è buona ma con una location così eccezionale deve essere un po’ alzato il livello della qualità del cibo. In ogni caso serata meravigliosa

26/07/2024: Siamo stati molte volte negli ultimi anni , questa volta hanno cambiato in cucina il personale con risultati mediocri. Il prezzo però è rimasto invariato . Peccato perché si mangiava davvero bene . Per il resto location e personale di sala all’altezza.

26/08/2024: In una calda estate abbiamo deciso di cenare in questa osteria perché spinti dalle discrete recensioni. Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo all'esterno. Materie prime discrete e personale cordiale. Unico neo amatriciana con pochissimo guanciale e soprattutto due mezzi involtini di numero. Capiamo la crisi....mah....potremmo fare di meglio anche aumentando di uno due euro il prezzo Nel complesso non malaccio. Location anonima rispetto a quelle che possono vantare lo splendido panorama di cui gode Frascati.

22/08/2024: suggerito dal B&B dove soggiornavamo, siamo andati in questo locale. ci hanno apparecchiato fuori si stava benissimo!! locale carino, personale gentile e predisposto ( ci hanno portato piatti vuoti per dividere le porzioni). serata passata bene in compagnia. l'unica cosa il parcheggio, un pò lontano..ma nessunissimo problema!!

20/08/2024: Delicious restaurant in the Roman castles. Excellent food, welcoming environment, friendly staff, medium-high prices but in line with the quality of the dishes. Good choice of wines, all from local or neighboring wineries.

17/08/2024: I went to this place with a friend for an aperitif. The location is very beautiful, the staff attentive and kind. If you want to get away from the noise of the city and immerse yourself in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility this is the right place, but (there is always a but around the corner), pay 58 euros for two simple aperitifs made with a glass of white and a spritz, two saucers of fried foods (good, yes) and a small bowl of couscous and a crumbled one, I find it excessive. Usually the drink is included in the fixed cost of aperitifs, whereas here it is paid separately. Unfortunately we are always going further and it is becoming normal to pay a lot for small things.

16/08/2024: Ideal place for a romantic aperitif (dinner menu yet to be tried). Farmhouse surrounded by greenery where tranquility and breathtaking views are the protagonists. But not even completely because the white wine (home-made), the fried foods, the cheeses and the ham were something extraordinary!!! Excellent service, very kind staff and more than modest prices. We will definitely be back

06/11/2024: matteo, cheeseburger 2 and everything else are an extension of my home now. the environment is beautiful as is the beautiful music you can hear, the prices are the best and the food is delicious :)

05/10/2024: La cuoca, nonché titolare è stupenda. Simpatica, sorridente, gentile e pensate un po', è anche un'ottima cuciniera , ci ha intrattenuti nel suo nuovo locale con piatti della tradizione squisiti. Dall'antipasto al dolce per non parlare dei vini sfusi locali, fatti da un'azienda eccellente a pochi km dal ristorante.

27/08/2024: The place looked promising and we sincerely thought about some unforeseen event, on a day that wasn't the best, considering it was Saturday, with numerous customers at lunch. The review, however, cannot be fully favorable due to a couple of important errors. Let's start with the positive notes. Characteristic, sober and pleasant place, with numerous outdoor seats in a small alley in the center of Frascati. Very polite and welcoming staff, helpful and attentive. Regarding the courses, worth mentioning is the good selection of cheeses and the excellent bruschetta with colonnata lard. But then the sore points arrive. Despite the place being full, two service errors were still not admissible: After the starter, the main course is not served first to the couple at the next table, who arrived about 40 minutes later! Considering the very similar orders, there is no valid organizational justification for something so annoying. Even more serious: you spend half an hour waiting between the starter and the main course, but never, ever serve a dish to a diner about 10 minutes after serving the other! Despite subsequent apologies, both diners are forced to watch the other eat! Two important service errors which, in any case, would have been mitigated by the good quality of the dishes served. Instead, the trofie with speck, courgettes and cherry tomatoes, the dish that arrived 10 minutes later, which you expect "in white" and crunchy, arrived in a red and very oily "guazzetto" (perhaps also with stock cube), in a preparation that has nothing to do with the Roman tradition. A generous dish, too, in terms of quantity and abundance of seasoning, but definitely not appetizing. The most significant mistake of all, however, was that of the carbonara which arrived 10 minutes before the trofie. Burnt bacon, overcooked egg and overcooked half sleeves! We're sorry for the mishap in the kitchen, which we hope is occasional, but a dish like this shouldn't be released in the dining room! Sin! Because the raw materials and the location are there, as well as the courteous and attentive staff.

25/08/2024: Welcoming place, attentive and helpful staff, excellent food, truly satisfying dinner. I will return without a doubt, I recommend trying it.

15/12/2024: Ambiente caldo e accogliente con un bel camino centrale acceso. La cucina la potremmo definire “gourmet-like” e di ottima qualità generale con impiattamento elegante. il servizio è stato cortese e abbastanza puntuale con tempistiche tutto sommato accettabili. Abbiamo assaggiato gnocchi di verdura al taleggio ottimi ma avremmo preferito una porzione leggermente più abbondante, ravioli molto buoni nelle diverse preparazioni proposte. Quanto alle carni, di ottimo taglio e morbidezza, abbiamo gustato filetto, tagliata e abbacchio alla scottadito: tutti piatti molto buoni, con cotture perfette e dalle porzioni corrette. Per chiudere anche i dolci al cucchiaio sono stati molto buoni. Unica nota leggermente stonata: il vino rosso “della casa” in bottiglia ma dal costo eccessivo (19 euro). Sicuramente merita la sosta e certamente noi la faremo di nuovo.

30/11/2024: Atmosfera curata e accogliente, piatti deliziosi preparati con ingredienti freschissimi e presentati con eleganza. La tagliata è stato il punto forte. Il servizio è impeccabile: personale cortese, attento e preparato. Rapporto qualità-prezzo più che giustificato per l’alta qualità dell’offerta. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca ottima cucina e un ambiente raffinato. Non vedo l’ora di tornare!

16/12/2024: Cibo e accoglienza eccellenti nel solco della tradizione: antipasto sfizioso e saporito (provatura su pane al nero), tonnarelli cacio e pepe da manuale, contirni e dolce (semifreddo allo zabaione) ottimi. Ma soprattutto il servizio: caloroso ma mai asfissiante. Il tutto nella cornice di in ristorante molto tradizionale che è una sicurezza. C’ero stato con la famiglia anni fa per un compleanno, a primavera, nel terrazzo, con un tramonto su Roma stupendo. Ma anche la sala interna è molto accogliente e credo che, bel complesso, sia migliorato.

08/12/2024: Recommended by friends, we decide to have lunch at this restaurant. What can I say: we were thrilled as soon as we entered!!  The setting is very beautiful, and the panoramic terrace overlooking Rome, where we had lunch, is spectacular. An excellent welcome from all the staff and no less from the managers: all very kind. They immediately put us at ease, allowing us to spend some very pleasant time with a couple of friends. The dishes were all excellent: tonnarelli cheese and pepper, mezze sleeves all'amatriciana, the cold cuts platter and the squid ink crostini with a cream of anchovies and cheese. We ended on a high note with Mrs. Caterina's desserts: stratospheric!! I've never had trifle like this, but the hazelnut and pistachio semifreddos were no exception! as wine we took an ecological wine produced by them. What can I say: we can't wait to return to this restaurant!!!

02/12/2024: Really characteristic and beautiful place, good background music, very good service. Interesting gastronomic proposal even if the first courses didn't convince me, good starters and meat. Not obvious wine list, I would recommend making more use of the local offers ...medium-high prices.
