25/08/2024: Yesterday I went there with my family we ordered frittura antipasti suggested by the waiter , well the fried zucchini were full of oil the supply were not supply but casual little small ball with left overs inside and some other balls burned outside and super super raw inside ! We told the waiter about it and instead to apologise his answer was ( those are Chianina balls ) well a part the fact that unfortunately 4 of us were all professional chef on the table and it was evident that the balls are frozen and even if you fry Chianina balls in the fryer the meat should be at least slightly cooked inside istead of raw frozen !! Btw I don t want to go much in those details but for what we paid they should change the quality of the frittura right away because it was obscene!! Pizza was very good instead ! Many time we go there by the years but this time I have to say that there was not much care of us on the table !! Especially if any guest is not happy or leave raw food on the table there should be action on it not try to justify something that is actually wrong !! Next time I want try to go to Noah that pizza seems pretty good also !! Very disappointed!!

13/08/2024: Schon unsere dritte Reise und Übernachtung bei Gianpaolo und wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Seine Küchencrew versteht ihr Handwerk und die Speisen sind alle ausgezeichnet und frisch zubereitet. Zudem ist er ein sehr herzlicher und liebenswerter Gastgeber. Frascati lohnt sich immer: Klein, echt und nicht so overtouristet wie die grossen Städte.

28/07/2024: Despite numerous visits to Rome I had never visited the Basilica of San Poalo outside the walls and this time I passed by almost by chance. However, I was amazed by the majesty, beauty, brightness and richness of the interior. Although I didn't initially appreciate the external portico, which covers the splendid façade, I reevaluated everything once I entered through the gates and instead felt welcomed and "protected" by it. The visit is highly recommended.

26/07/2024: Siamo stati molte volte negli ultimi anni , questa volta hanno cambiato in cucina il personale con risultati mediocri. Il prezzo però è rimasto invariato . Peccato perché si mangiava davvero bene . Per il resto location e personale di sala all’altezza.

30/07/2024: The restaurant is located two minutes from the center of Frascati. It has a large free private car park and, if it is full, it is possible to leave the car in the close vicinity of the restaurant in a large public car park. The location is very well looked after, characterized by refined furnishings that are a little vintage and a little pop, which contribute to making the environment elegant but not too much. Personally I love it, it is suitable both for an evening with friends and for a dinner with that girl who makes your heart beat. In summer it is also possible to take advantage of the restaurant's terrace, where you can spend an evening enjoying the fresh air typical of the Castelli Romani. The staff is helpful, competent and professional with a hint of informality that I always appreciate. You can book a table either by calling the landline or via WhatsApp. Perhaps the latter method is more efficient. The food is of excellent quality. The saloon tartare I chose was fresh and tasty. The pasta, al dente as I like it with pesto, calamari and their sauce, tomatoes and cream cheese was simply delicious. I would go back just to enjoy it again. The lemon semifreddo was also good, fresh and excellent for finishing the dinner by refreshing the palate. The prices: I spent 15 euros for the tartare, 16 for the pasta and 6 for the dessert. The cover charge costs 2 euros and the water 2.50 euros per bottle. For the quality, the execution, the quantity of portions, the location and the private parking, I consider the price justified. In fact, once I looked at the menu, I was afraid of paying without eating too much, but this didn't happen and I left satisfied and with a full belly. Also an excellent place for after dinner, thanks to the various cocktails and wines that are offered. The last time I went after dinner you didn't need a reservation, just show up from 10pm onwards. But it's been a while since I went for an after-dinner drink, so maybe find out more. Maybe something has changed. Rare is the place that transports you to a truly pleasant location, but beyond the smoke there is also the roast guys, nothing to say really. I've been going there for a while and will continue to do so. I recommend it!

22/08/2024: suggerito dal B&B dove soggiornavamo, siamo andati in questo locale. ci hanno apparecchiato fuori si stava benissimo!! locale carino, personale gentile e predisposto ( ci hanno portato piatti vuoti per dividere le porzioni). serata passata bene in compagnia. l'unica cosa il parcheggio, un pò lontano..ma nessunissimo problema!!

20/08/2024: Delicious restaurant in the Roman castles. Excellent food, welcoming environment, friendly staff, medium-high prices but in line with the quality of the dishes. Good choice of wines, all from local or neighboring wineries.

07/08/2024: SPECTACULAR The best restaurant in Frascati the service is top notch I recommend trying the oil they make. As for the hotel, spectacular views, simple but well-maintained and above all spotless rooms. the only flaw is the breakfast, little space and very sparse, it clashes with the high level of the structure but 5 stars is more than you can expect

17/08/2024: I went to this place with a friend for an aperitif. The location is very beautiful, the staff attentive and kind. If you want to get away from the noise of the city and immerse yourself in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility this is the right place, but (there is always a but around the corner), pay 58 euros for two simple aperitifs made with a glass of white and a spritz, two saucers of fried foods (good, yes) and a small bowl of couscous and a crumbled one, I find it excessive. Usually the drink is included in the fixed cost of aperitifs, whereas here it is paid separately. Unfortunately we are always going further and it is becoming normal to pay a lot for small things.

16/08/2024: Ideal place for a romantic aperitif (dinner menu yet to be tried). Farmhouse surrounded by greenery where tranquility and breathtaking views are the protagonists. But not even completely because the white wine (home-made), the fried foods, the cheeses and the ham were something extraordinary!!! Excellent service, very kind staff and more than modest prices. We will definitely be back

15/07/2024: Explosion of flavors and taste! Niche and quality venue, impeccable in every respect, vast selection of craft beers with a highly trained staff who explains the type, the sandwiches are taken care of in detail and the combination of the various ingredients allows for a pleasant explosion of flavours. The staff, very competent and trained, also guides you on the choices and best sandwich-beer combinations, allowing for a one-of-a-kind experience. If you are in the area… “VIECCE” you won't regret it!!

05/08/2024: We found this restaurant a little desperate because we went to two restaurants and they treated us badly. Desperate and hungry we found this restaurant. Nice in a rustic cave with friendly staff. We ate delicious cacio pepe and porcini mushrooms, we also made the slipper with the wafer made from the cheese. Three of us ate the hearty grilled second course. All very good, highly recommended

27/08/2024: The place looked promising and we sincerely thought about some unforeseen event, on a day that wasn't the best, considering it was Saturday, with numerous customers at lunch. The review, however, cannot be fully favorable due to a couple of important errors. Let's start with the positive notes. Characteristic, sober and pleasant place, with numerous outdoor seats in a small alley in the center of Frascati. Very polite and welcoming staff, helpful and attentive. Regarding the courses, worth mentioning is the good selection of cheeses and the excellent bruschetta with colonnata lard. But then the sore points arrive. Despite the place being full, two service errors were still not admissible: After the starter, the main course is not served first to the couple at the next table, who arrived about 40 minutes later! Considering the very similar orders, there is no valid organizational justification for something so annoying. Even more serious: you spend half an hour waiting between the starter and the main course, but never, ever serve a dish to a diner about 10 minutes after serving the other! Despite subsequent apologies, both diners are forced to watch the other eat! Two important service errors which, in any case, would have been mitigated by the good quality of the dishes served. Instead, the trofie with speck, courgettes and cherry tomatoes, the dish that arrived 10 minutes later, which you expect "in white" and crunchy, arrived in a red and very oily "guazzetto" (perhaps also with stock cube), in a preparation that has nothing to do with the Roman tradition. A generous dish, too, in terms of quantity and abundance of seasoning, but definitely not appetizing. The most significant mistake of all, however, was that of the carbonara which arrived 10 minutes before the trofie. Burnt bacon, overcooked egg and overcooked half sleeves! We're sorry for the mishap in the kitchen, which we hope is occasional, but a dish like this shouldn't be released in the dining room! Sin! Because the raw materials and the location are there, as well as the courteous and attentive staff.

25/08/2024: Welcoming place, attentive and helpful staff, excellent food, truly satisfying dinner. I will return without a doubt, I recommend trying it.

03/04/2024: Absolutely recommend this place, we did pasta making and wine tasting, a little town tour and tour of their wine cave was included. Value for money. Loved it!! Highly recommend. The pasta we made was delicious!!! Wine soo good. Welcoming friendly staff/family. Deffinately do it again. Xx
