26/07/2024: the owner is rlly not hospitable we came with a large group and they seemed to be ignoring us the entire time portions r so small literally had 3 raviolis in my plate

24/07/2024: Overall the restaurant does not give enough food on the plate . I ordered the ravioli that was over $30.00 and literally got 3 raviolis on my plate . My husband ordered the lamb and there was a lot of fat on the chops that were undercooked. The manager of the restaurant was very rude as showed no hospitality towards his guests . Also there was no bread served before the meal .If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant, there are better options to choose from in the Oakville area.

04/08/2024: In my opinion it has lost its being home cooking and wine bar with dishes that are absolutely not in the tradition of the innkeeper of the castles and the lake. No more wine on tap, but a wine from the castles at 8 euros for 75cl that our grandparents used for gargling. The porchetta is of poor quality and not even well cooked, the bread is good but cut at the end of the loaf. In line with the now widespread fake bourgeois catering, with the glasses of the average Italian in the mood to feel like a gentleman but who doesn't even know how to make a boiled egg at home, we see Masterchef. The end of Italian cuisine, unfortunately. I continue to frequent it because it reminds me of my childhood with my father and mother, the memory of the lake under the tavern and the trout to which we threw bread and porchetta. This is why I am even more saddened to see part of the castle tradition lost. Like many other places, it is now just a memory. Too much black in the new furniture.

07/04/2024: The restaurant recently changed management and is now family-run. Completely renovated internally compared to the photo, it is a modern environment and there is a light and friendly atmosphere. Live music (cover songs by singers) and karaoke are undoubtedly also an accomplice. The first courses are tasty and the pizza is large, thin and crunchy and was not salty, as often happens, but tasty to the right degree. I add the photo of my capricciosa, strictly without mozzarella due to my intolerance. Only the red wine was served slightly cold. The prices are also reasonable and I will definitely be back! Congratulations to the restaurateurs!

30/03/2024: Servizio pessimo e assenti in sala. Locandina della serata presa sui social descriveva un menù pizza a prezzo fisso, al momento dell'ordinazione ci viene detto che il menù in promo era del giorno prima🤣 Per i fritti non male, erano buoni ma un'ora di attesa, per la pizza un'ora e quaranta ( spero ci sia stato un problema in cucina). Pizza alla boscaiola con funghi sott'aceto molto forti, altre pizze con pomodoro crudo. Spero che per la carne sia diverso. Esperienza negativa

10/07/2024: abbiamo ordinato un tagliere porchetta e ci è arrivato in un Piatto Nero rotondo ma ad un certo punto dalla porchetta sono uscuti dei vermi bianchi che hanno cominciato a strisciare nel piatto Nero, consiglio questo locale

07/07/2024: si presenta come una fraschetta economica ma sei piccole fette di prosciutto 10 euro... ho detto tutto, servizio buono location carina, spendete lo stesso al centro di Roma
