09/05/2026: We had an early start on our last day and so appreciated that the lady who served at breakfast arrived early for us. She was fantastic, thank you so much! Great location, rooms are on the smaller side, but this is to be expected in a central location

03/05/2026: The hotel is very nice, spotlessly clean, with many amenities and a strategic and convenient location for discovering the wonders of Trieste. Honorable mention for the attentive and kind staff ❤️ Redirected here by Booking.com, which had made overbooking on another property.

03/05/2026: May 1, 2026 I ordered a seafood salad and a clam sauté. The seafood salad consisted of just four mussels and a dozen clams, along with some frozen, low-quality squid: overall, a poor and disappointing dish. The clam sauté was average, neither good nor bad. The bread was also a negative note: there were only three slices in the basket, decidedly too few. I also noticed that other tables were constantly asking for more bread. Ultimately, the impression is that the service wasn't well-organized... perhaps you weren't prepared. Hmm.

30/10/2025: Absolutely dilapidated place, staff with hygienically inconceivable uniforms, negative experience, from the welcome to the menu, to the missing dishes, discount store quality cooked at best and worst, at not modest prices, to be absolutely eliminated, I came home with a stench due to the smells of the kitchen that was where we ate, calling itself a trattoria is an insult to the worst dives in Caracas

21/07/2025: I agree with previous reviews. You can eat à la carte or the fixed-price menu, but either way, you'll be satisfied. If you ask me if I'd return, I'd say yes!

13/09/2025: Disappointing, the atmosphere is squalid to say the least. Even more disappointing is the quality of the pizza: cheap, hard-discount ingredients, like the tomato sauce and fake mozzarella on the Margherita. Plus, the prices are outrageous for what they offer. Half a slice of Margherita pizza and two draft beers cost €27. Considering there's no service, you eat it with your hands, no plate or cutlery.

21/08/2025: Very simple place, they bring you a pizza peel and you eat without plates. The pizza is really good! Takeout is also available.

02/10/2025: This food was lovely enough to remind me of a healthy/quick dinner out of a home kitchen but not from a pretentious restaurant such as this one with the chef wanting compliments by showing up after each meal and reminding us that everything was made in house. The food lacked flavour and presentation. The whole experience was almost depressing with the atmosphere lacking in so many ways and the menu being so devoid of any kind of information or excitement that we really wanted to leave before ordering but the waiters were too overbearing to allow this and basically intimidated us into staying. It seems that the restaurant is stuck in the classic cuisine of 40 years ago and refuses to innovate in any way from its menu to the atmosphere. The waiters were arrogant and annoyingly would often come in twos or threes just to take an order and reminded us that everything was made in house each time they came to the table just as the chef did. They didn’t notice when we had no water left and we gave each waiter a chance to notice but none of them did and we were the only table in the whole restaurant. They brought us bread when we arrived whilst we waited for our meals but nothing to accompany the bread and then when we paid, we noticed that we were charged for it when we didn’t order it in the first place! The entire experience was extremely disappointing and to top it all off, it cost the two of us 80 euros for a main meal, a desert to share and a bottle of water to share. We appreciated what they aim to do by making things from scratch and keeping the menu classic and simple, but we will not be returning for the aforementioned reasons. Good luck to them

10/09/2025: THE FIREPLACE... With such a welcoming name, you expect it to warm your heart and stomach... and indeed, they do, even if the bill at the end leaves you feeling a little burnt 🔥💸. The food? All good, no complaints, but a bit pricey for what you get. Wow... then you order one thing and in the blink of an eye, without warning, a different dish arrives. Meanwhile, the SPACIOUS CHEF Nazzareno wanders among the tables with his unmistakable hat, ready to challenge anyone, just like me, who loves ordering green beans. Would I go back? Yes, but this time we'll go straight for a first course, without hoping to satisfy ourselves with a nice portion of sea bass or sea bream. No surprises, no burning fireplaces... you know what? The wallet.

06/07/2026: A restaurant in the center of Terracina. Parking is difficult to find. The waitress and owner are friendly and helpful. The chicken arrosticini are excellent. Good beer selection. Long wait. Cost: €30 for two.

23/09/2025: It's become a habit to go to this bar for a sublimely made spritz or gin and tonic. A selection of unusual and very unique gins. Accompanied by excellent appetizers and the friendliness of the owner and his bartender 😊.

30/04/2026: My partner gets a pack of cigarettes, a beer, and a water to go. The blonde cashier/bartender doesn't give her a receipt, and shortly thereafter, they change shifts. When my partner asks for the bottle of water she paid for, the new brunette cashier/bartender tells her she knows nothing about it: the bin containing the receipt has been emptied, she can't contact her colleague (I had to insist she call her!), nor the manager/director (don't have their number?!), nor check the POS or cashier history because "She's not an accountant," she puts it. So no water, not even after showing her the receipt for €11.10 via our bank app. It was enough to do the math! It's not for €1.50 worth of water. It's a matter of principle, of attitude, and of the responses we've received: especially since we go there almost every day, and it's not the first time something has gone wrong. Excuse me, but don't you talk to each other among colleagues? Don't you know how to check whether a customer has paid or not (receipt history is required by law)? Don't you have your manager's number? Are you kidding me?! Poor service. I AM CORRECTING THE 1-STAR REVIEW: A few days after the misunderstanding, we received countless apologies, both from the manager and from the blonde girl with glasses, who is always so kind. At this point, all I can do is give it 5 stars!

03/10/2025: It was my go-to sushi place, my weekend comfort zone, my guilty pleasure when I was in Terracina. Why did you close? 😭 I hope they reopen and that it's all a bad joke. Spectacular food, especially the Exotic Rolls, the Spicy Gunkan, the Pistachio Rolls, and the Mango Gunkan, not to mention the Rabbit Bao! Photos to remember how delicious this place is! THE BEST SUSHI EVER! PLEASE REOPEN

17/09/2025: Since they changed management I don't recommend it, the real Neapolitan madly is in Rome.

12/09/2025: I'll put it like the euro they add to each pizza, compared to the price listed on the menu. After I disputed the receipt, the waitress was even rude because she tried to say that the surcharge was due to the Neapolitan dough choice and that it was stated on the menu. I forced her to show me the menu, and of course, nothing was written there. Furthermore, it wasn't even stated when ordering, when they ask you if you prefer Neapolitan or Roman dough (the menu didn't even state the option of both). After realizing the mistake, they didn't even bother to offer a refund. It's a shame because the pizza dough was good (although I found the tomato sauce too acidic), but I don't think I'll come again.

15/03/2026: Exceptional ice cream, excellent value. Wonderful pistachio cream flavor. Highly recommended.

02/03/2026: This experience is not to be repeated for two reasons: 1. The staff is truly rude and arrogant. 2. I had a large gelato, and the amount of gelato they put on the cone was truly negligible. When I return to Terracina, I'll know where NOT to go. :)
