24/08/2025: Classic Roman-style pizza, shallow and crunchy. What makes it unique is the light, non-bloating dough, the generous amount of toppings, and the quality of the ingredients. The pizza chef is a true artist and very friendly. I always go very early to get pizza because after 7 pm it's almost impossible to get served due to high demand, so I highly recommend booking for both dine-in and takeout.

17/08/2025: Every visit to their restaurant is a delightful experience. Their courtesy and kindness are complemented by excellent food, much of which comes from their own farm, including the buffalo meat and cheeses, cooked in the most delicious ways. The mixed antipasto is a delight to discover piece by piece, with buffalo mozzarella and hand-sliced prosciutto, as are the swordfish skewers and buffalo tartare. The wine selection is also excellent—well-deserved compliments!

08/09/2025: As is my custom, I'm leaving the previous review, which you'll find below. When we vacation in San Felice Circeo, this restaurant is a regular stop. We booked well in advance to ensure we'd find a table. We have a poodle, so they seated us at a table inside the restaurant. While we waited for our appetizers, they offered us some truly delicious appetizers. Appetizers: anchovy and vegetable parcel, cod bites, and prawns in kataifi pastry. First courses: risotto with scampi cream, seafood paccheri Sorrento-style, and ravioli with shellfish and parmesan. Dessert: strawberry tart. Everything was superb. The service was impeccable, making us forget about last year's disappointment. What can I say... the quality is unquestionable, and the price is reasonable for everything they offer. We'll be back. First things first: my wife and I have eaten here several times and have always been completely satisfied. That said, after countless unsuccessful phone calls to make a reservation, we finally succeeded only by walking in. We wanted to make a good impression on some friends. The next day we went to dinner; the place was busy, but not overwhelming. To avoid any misunderstandings, we mean there were no people waiting for a seat. We arrived at 8:50 PM and ate two appetizers from the taverna without knowing what we were eating, as the waiters were serving very quickly. By 9:20 PM, the appetizers had already been consumed, along with the mussel soup to finish. From start to finish, 20 minutes. Next, we ordered grilled fish, marinated salmon, and desserts. We drank a bottle of prosecco. At 9:50 PM, we paid the bill. In conclusion, the quality of the food and the portions were, as always, top-notch. The rushed service undermined the kitchen's excellent work and ruined our evening.

07/09/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at Hosteria La Perla Nera in San Felice Circeo, and the experience was overall excellent. The quality of the ingredients is undeniable: fresh, carefully selected, and expertly showcased in every course. The handmade gnocchi with scampi cream are a true house specialty, delicate and refined, as is the scampi cream risotto, expertly prepared. The staff stands out for their courtesy and attention to detail, contributing to the impeccable service. The only drawback is the restaurant's location near a busy road, where noisy motorcycles can sometimes disturb the quiet. However, this is an external factor, independent of the restaurant itself, and does not detract from the overall quality of the dining experience. The high-quality cuisine and attentive service make the prices fully justified. This restaurant is certainly worth a visit and, without a doubt, a second chance to enjoy other delicacies.

28/08/2025: Motivated by a previous positive lunch experience a couple of years ago and the overall good reviews, we decided to dine there last night. Overall, it wasn't a positive experience, as everything we ordered was quite disappointing: - The bland appetizer consisted of 4 cold single portions and 5 hot ones, prepared in advance and then assembled, lacking in attention and flavors that were average. - Spaghetti with clams and lupini beans (€20) had a lot of sand. - Mixed grilled fish was salty, very salty, the fish and the cooking were done with little attention. The service is fine; the staff are quick and attentive. The restaurant gets a lot of people, packed on a Wednesday with about 60-70 seats, and will undoubtedly improve, even despite this review. However, I urge them to pay more attention to the food, which is truly disappointing considering the restaurant prices.

22/08/2025: We drove over half an hour specifically to try their lobster linguine, and I have to say it more than lived up to our expectations! The trio of tartares was also delicious. Fair prices and a fair bill.

20/08/2025: I expected something more from this pizzeria. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly, but the pizza didn't quite meet my expectations. Despite the good reviews, the experience was average. Nothing really negative, but nothing memorable either.

15/08/2025: The food is excellent, with classic seafood dishes made with excellent ingredients and all expertly executed. They also serve pizza. Their shellfish soup is stellar, but you need to order a few days in advance. Excellent value for money.

12/08/2025: We made a terrible impression on a dear friend of mine by taking him to this restaurant, unfortunately, an experience to forget. They were completely disorganized and inattentive, and the quality of the food didn't satisfy us at all. They brought our focaccia only 30 minutes after we asked if bread was included... it arrived with a bland first course that I was forced to send back, not without some annoyance about my taste... then as soon as a table of people arrived for a party, we were completely forgotten. Unsolicited dishes were brought twice, and cutlery was missing... the place is noisy, it was impossible to talk because of the noise... the icing on the cake, when it came to the bill (very expensive for the quality of the food), we were left with a bottle of water that was never brought to the table... In short, a real disaster. Had I known, I would have gone elsewhere.

04/09/2025: Excellent family-run seafood restaurant, we come here often. Both the raw seafood and the pasta dishes are delicious. Generous portions and a wide selection of dishes. The fish soup is a must-try!

06/08/2025: Cerco su trip il migliore di San felice circeo e prenoto, servizio lentissimo e non carismatico la location molto carina e il cibo ordinato servito in maniera piacevole ma la lentezza e la tranquillità dei gestori era incredibile, 45 minuti per far arrivare un supplì, insalata di mare e un tonno scottato , un ora dopo ci portano i piatti principali ma a quel punto non avevamo più fame e abbiamo chiesto un box per portar via le pietanze, peccato perche era tutto buono ma non si può andare al ristorante e mangiare in questo modo si rovina l’atmosfera, credo che dovrebbero cercare un menu più veloce in modo di velocizzare tutte le comandate e magari incassare anche un po di più
