The service is impeccable, elegant yet never cold, with a rare level of customer service. The cuisine is simply sensational: every dish demonstrates careful study, technique, research, and exceptionally high-quality ingredients. Nothing is left to chance, from the presentation of the dishes to the flavors, to the harmony of the entire culinary journey.
Honestly, it's hard to find anything to criticize, because everything is of the highest standard. The experience is absolutely comparable to that of other great international Michelin-starred restaurants. Every detail exudes passion, perfection, and a love of haute cuisine.
A place that deserves its success far beyond the Pontine area. Authentic excellence.
19/04/2026: Dinner at Agro. The appetizers were very good, but the main courses were poor. We ordered the rabbit, which still had its head with the teeth attached, and was undercooked. Then there were the meatballs, which we left half empty; they had a strong garlic and spice smell, and were also undercooked. The beef oxtail was nothing special. Reasonable prices.

11/05/2026: Great atmosphere and food! The only thing that bothered me was that a lady, probably a member of the family, had two mastiffs in the garden—one on a leash and one off—so when she saw the children, she ran after them. Really scary.

11/02/2026: Welcoming place, friendly, young staff. My husband and I ordered two Sasà calzones, delicious! The supplì were also delicious, crispy, and flavorful!
Everything was delicious, well done!
09/11/2025: A nice place, with good pizza (except for the diavola, for which I would recommend the place to revise the salami, using a spicy one :) ). The rest is excellent, very good fried food and well-cooked dough.

31/05/2026: We decided to return to this restaurant despite two previous bad experiences with slow service, with us waiting up to an hour for two pizzas. Yesterday, confidently, we invited some friends along to anticipate the problem, but they broke all records by making us wait about 30 minutes for water and beer. After 45 minutes, the appetizers finally arrived, all staggered, and finally, after a good hour, the pizza arrived, followed by a course every 30 minutes. Our friends' two entrees still hadn't arrived after 30 minutes. Upon our prompting, we managed to get them, only to be told they'd "perhaps" forgotten the delivery. In short, everyone ate cold food and did their own thing. We were hoping the other courses would arrive. Do you think we got a simple apology? Arrogantly, we were shrugged, as if to say, "That's how it works here!" Good luck to the poor, unsuspecting customers.
30/05/2026: AMBIENCE: Today I had lunch at the "da Marcello" restaurant in Pontinia. The restaurant is very well-maintained and spacious, both inside and out. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful.
EXPERIENCE: The house mixed antipasto consists of several courses, including: tomato and basil bruschetta, mixed cold cuts, fried meats, olives, vegetables, eggplant parmigiana, polenta, and mozzarella balls. Everything was fresh and delicious. For starters, I had a sample of strozzapreti with speck and radicchio, which were truly delicious, and a sample of gnocchi with ragù, which were equally delicious. For dessert, I had vanilla ice cream with apples and cinnamon, which was a delightful and surprising end to my meal.

24/04/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante perché cercavamo la zuppa di lenticchie tipica dell’isola e per i prezzi mediamente più bassi del resto dei locali che abbiamo visto. Il servizio è stato impeccabile e molto cordiale abbiamo ordinato delle crocchette e degli arancini, un piatto di ska la zuppa di lenticchie e infine una pizza margherita da dividere a metà. Tutto molto buono in particolare la pizza e la zuppa che anche se è considerata un contorno è di dimensioni abbondanti. Molto ma molto onesti i prezzi abbiamo speso 35 € compreso caffè, una bottiglia d’acqua e il servizio (caffè un euro… Mai visto prima).

Oggi ho avuto il piacere di pranzare in questo ristorantino dopo tanto che non andavamo : piatti ottimi come sempre ,personale gentile e location meravigliosa.
Non era la prima volta che ci andavo ma.oggi ci hanno sorpreso sotto ogni punto di vista ...Sandro ( il titolare ) è di una gentilezza disarmante, ti fa sentire a casa sempre ...
