Little to say about the taste and service; the wine cellar was small but of high quality.
Many dishes offered a refreshing experience, despite the local flavors seemingly suggesting a more substantial cuisine.
My only personal criticism concerns some dishes, specifically their form (content); for some courses, I found they didn't enhance the aesthetics of the content, as in the case of the main dish, Claudio, served on a plate that excessively obscured the dish, or the dessert served on a tray that made it difficult to pick up the dessert once it had melted.
08/03/2026: A splendid restaurant in the heart of the Pontine Marshes. Experimental and elaborate dishes. Recommended for years in the Michelin Guide and awarded a star. The full-service kitchen immerses you in the preparation and presentation of the dishes. Very reasonable prices for what they offer, impeccable and extremely friendly service. The tasting menus are a must-try. The wine cellar offers a vast selection.

25/02/2026: We returned to this restaurant for the second time. We were truly satisfied with both the food and the very kind, attentive, and professional staff. They were all young. We ate very well and paid a fair price. The quality was excellent.
The first courses were excellent, the meat, and the artichokes. The focaccia with pancetta was a delight. Next time I'll try the pizza because the dough is excellent and it didn't hurt me (I'm intolerant to yeast).
I recommend the tiramisu. Even though it was Sunday and the place was packed, the wait was short. I recommend it.
I can't wait to go back 💜
31/01/2026: Capocavallo is the result of decades of work.
You can tell because the structure is architecturally a collection of spaces constructed with different materials. A kind of fun Tetris game.
But above all, there's the courtesy and helpfulness of the owners, who make you feel "at home."
The fettuccine dish was the only thing I ate, but more than the dish itself, I liked the elegant simplicity of the table setting. I'll definitely be back.

02/11/2025: Good food, good organization, but after what happened, no, we had a dog on a leash and a lady opened a cage with 5 dogs inside, we with 4 children, one of them 3 years old, were attacked by the dogs, as it had already happened, the lady put them in a closet, as soon as we put our dog down, the lady reopened the door of the closet 2 TIMES, ALSO CALLING US CRAZY, WE WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN

11/02/2026: Welcoming place, friendly, young staff. My husband and I ordered two Sasà calzones, delicious! The supplì were also delicious, crispy, and flavorful!
Everything was delicious, well done!
09/11/2025: A nice place, with good pizza (except for the diavola, for which I would recommend the place to revise the salami, using a spicy one :) ). The rest is excellent, very good fried food and well-cooked dough.

06/03/2026: The pizza is truly delicious! The prices are a little higher than usual, but I personally prefer to pay a little more for a pizza with excellent ingredients and a super-digestible dough. The place only seats a few people, and you can clearly see the focus on quality over quantity, with great care taken in every pizza.
I also really appreciated the pre-sliced pizza and the balance of flavors in every slice: you can sense a sophisticated pursuit of flavor.
I really think it's become my favorite pizzeria...
Finally, the apricot and chocolate cheesecake really thrilled me! Congratulations, keep up the good work :)

17/01/2026: Really poor service. I sat down at 8:45 PM and had to wait almost half an hour just to order, after having to hassle several waiters. After ordering, over an hour went by without the pizza arriving, and no attention was paid to the table. After a total of an hour and a half, I got up and left. This kind of wait is unacceptable.

Oggi ho avuto il piacere di pranzare in questo ristorantino dopo tanto che non andavamo : piatti ottimi come sempre ,personale gentile e location meravigliosa.
Non era la prima volta che ci andavo ma.oggi ci hanno sorpreso sotto ogni punto di vista ...Sandro ( il titolare ) è di una gentilezza disarmante, ti fa sentire a casa sempre ...

24/04/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante perché cercavamo la zuppa di lenticchie tipica dell’isola e per i prezzi mediamente più bassi del resto dei locali che abbiamo visto. Il servizio è stato impeccabile e molto cordiale abbiamo ordinato delle crocchette e degli arancini, un piatto di ska la zuppa di lenticchie e infine una pizza margherita da dividere a metà. Tutto molto buono in particolare la pizza e la zuppa che anche se è considerata un contorno è di dimensioni abbondanti. Molto ma molto onesti i prezzi abbiamo speso 35 € compreso caffè, una bottiglia d’acqua e il servizio (caffè un euro… Mai visto prima).

01/09/2024: Locale informale, personale gentilissimo. Offre un menu di prodotti di produzione propria, salumi e formaggi ottimi. Carne alla brace favolosa. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente.
