11/05/2026: Mother's Day was simply TOP! We arrived at Penacio with four adults and two children and were immediately immersed in the magic of the Berici Hills. The place retains that '90s charm that makes you feel like you're in a real, authentic place with a soul. The food? A triumph of tradition! The truffle risotto is, without a doubt, the best in the area. The grilled meat is cooked to perfection, flavorful, and top-quality. And then... the highlight of all the highlights: the freshly whipped gelato. Creamy, irresistible, a bomb of goodness. One of those things that sticks in your head and makes you say, 'We absolutely have to come back!' And indeed... we will.
28/04/2026: We had a great experience at this renowned restaurant. We drove almost an hour to try it, but it was worth it! The rooms are elegant but not overly so, and the dishes are made with high-quality ingredients. But what really sets them apart is the service...helpful, friendly, and attentive! Not for everyone! Their famous hazelnut gelato is definitely recommended!

08/06/2026: Very beautiful and well-decorated place, well-prepared and generous dishes. Amazing wine list. But €80 for an appetizer, half a first course, a second course with a glass of wine seems a bit excessive.
02/06/2026: I'd heard so much about it, but in my opinion it's more beautiful than it is good.
The dishes are carefully prepared and well-prepared, but for the price and reputation, the flavors and pairings are "classic." Good wine selection.
A very positive note: the dessert was amazing, the best dish.
The fettuccine with truffle was also good.
I'll leave the bill, including the complimentary liqueurs!

Nearby parking and plenty of space.

The atmosphere was refined yet welcoming... we had a table on the veranda near the stove, and it was wonderful.
I appreciated how the entire team was so cohesive and enthusiastic.
The fish was excellent: when the ingredients are high-quality, the simpler the dish, the more you appreciate the flavor. Turbot was delicious. And the bagigione ice cream? We had to try it... congratulations to whoever coined the name... it will remain in our memories!
The wine list is excellent, but I would keep the prices updated online to avoid surprises.
I would also like the final bill to be clearer.

27/04/2026: I returned there after a few years for a ceremony, and the outcome was POSITIVE.
It has proven to be a restaurant that does a great job, offering quality, seasonal food. The staff is friendly and professional, and the panoramic view from the room is an added bonus.
They know their stuff.
I highly recommend them for any type of ceremony.

I've tried many different dishes and none of them have disappointed me; in fact, I've found every dish to be excellent, prepared and served with care and meticulous attention to the finest ingredients. I always return with pleasure; it's now my favorite place. It's also one of those very rare places where I also appreciate the desserts (each one better than the last).

15/05/2026: We also stopped by chance after a game because it was easy to get to on foot. Honestly, we ate very well. We all had pizza, and they even had gluten-free dough.
The guy who served us was super kind and helpful...even with our mascot, Elvis, our dog.
The atmosphere was nice and the price was reasonable.
04/04/2026: Very tasty, large pizzas. Aperol €3.50
Fast service, we didn't wait 10 minutes for our food.

05/05/2025: Il locale è in una zona collinare molto bella e all'interno, soprattutto nella grotta l'ambiente è suggestivo. Il menù è quasi esclusivamente a base di cacciagione e poiché io non ne mangio, ho ordinato baccalà e dei fagottini con pere ,tartufo e Asiago. Il cibo era buono, ma le quantità scarse (soprattutto dei contorni, nel nostro caso verdura cotta e patate al forno ).
I prezzi un po' eccessivi. Il personale gentile.
28/04/2025: In occasione di battesimo siamo stati deliziati dalla buona cucina curata, genuina, il tutto ben equilibrato e sopratutto i condimenti ben fatti,leggeri.Che dire eccezionali i fagottini ripieni Asiago pere,conditi al burro e tartufo.E carni veramente di qualità,buonissima pa caponata una delle migliori mai assaggiate.Complimenti continuate così e bravissime le cameriere molto attente e professionali.

If you want simple food and a traditional atmosphere, this is the place.
The family sometimes argues a bit loudly, but I really enjoyed it ❤️

Per quanto riguarda i secondi discreti ma non entusiasmanti.ll coniglio discreto mentre la faraona al forno e il galletto alla griglia sufficenti.
Atteso più di mezzora tra i primi e i secondi.
Vino in caraffa lo sconsiglio.
In sintesi per quello che abbiamo mangiato ci ballano 8/10 euro di troppo a persona.
Si potrebbe mangiare sotto una bella pergola ma con il caldo che faceva abbiamo preferito mangiare dentro anche se l'interno non è niente di che...
