It was a wonderful discovery!
The food is delicious, authentic, the fish is incredibly fresh, the welcome is friendly, the menu is varied and unpretentious, the portions are generous, and the food is beautifully presented.
In short, a place we'll definitely return to!!!

To be careful, as a true Calabrian, I recommend adding chili pepper to the Vulcano pizza on the menu, otherwise it will quickly lose a star.

08/08/2026: Fabulous! A very kind lady welcomed us and served us throughout the meal. Since we weren't locals, she offered us several specialties to try alongside our main course, introducing us to the local cuisine. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was wonderful, truly delicious, and homemade with fresh ingredients. It's the best restaurant we've been to since arriving in Italy. I highly recommend it, and this restaurant deserves more recognition and visibility. Thank you again!

A truly refreshing mint, yogurt, and cucumber soup welcomes you, along with fresh, select meats, accompanied by a sparkling white wine from the highly respected Medici cellar. The place is rustic yet elegant and well-kept. The price is fair, and the service is attentive and impeccable. I want to go back 💖

07/05/2026: A few days ago, my family went here. It's not our first time, but it's definitely the last. The fried appetizer arrived frozen inside. When we asked the hostess, she seemed almost indignant that we'd told her. The main courses were fine, but it's definitely not worth it. It's going downhill.

23/07/2026: Very disappointing pizza compared to the word of mouth in Villafranca, the dough is heavy to digest, not as good as it is advertised and the ingredients are not as spectacular as you would expect from a Margherita that costs €13... Very disappointed.
28/06/2026: Excellent pizza. Villafranca di Verona continues to amaze with the quality of its pizzerias. Good. Everything here is good, service and price. The pizza is very good, and the desserts are remarkable.

13/05/2026: After 20 years, I stopped by for a beer with friends. It may have changed hands a few times, but the quality of the vast selection of beers and food hasn't changed 💪🏻.
Recommended.

30/07/2026: I only had the opportunity to try the pizza. What can I say, as far as I'm concerned, it was tasteless, thin, and had almost no crust. Let's be clear, I wasn't expecting Neapolitan-style pizza, but at least it wasn't bland.
However, I'd like to point out that these are purely personal preferences, and so I don't want to influence other people's opinions in any way (especially since the dining room was crowded and many people enjoyed their pizza).
I can't rate the food, as I haven't tried it.
The staff were excellent, truly welcoming and kind.
I'll be back to try the food.

27/06/2026: Fabulous pizza, worth every penny. Nice place, friendly and professional staff. It's a shame about the heat, though I imagine adequately cooling the place with the infernal temperatures these days isn't easy.

19/03/2026: I went to the inn to try the legendary giant cutlet, and I must say I was truly surprised. A medium 400g Roman cutlet that's well worth its €23 price tag. The atmosphere is very elegant, with extremely friendly and helpful staff.

05/07/2026: This evening, my husband and I went to eat at this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice. But I have to say something negative. We asked the owner if dogs are allowed, and she said they're not allowed on weekends because it's crowded. After ten minutes, a couple with a dog came in. When we went to pay, I asked why the dog was there if it's not allowed on weekends. She replied that she didn't know they had a dog. In my opinion, if the rules are the same for everyone, she should have said they can't bring dogs. I definitely won't go there again!
