02/08/2025: We've been coming here for many years and it's always a very friendly, family-friendly atmosphere, good food, and reasonable prices.
12/07/2025: Excellent traditional Venetian trattoria, from shrimp in saor to cod, to first courses with typical dishes such as gnocchi with ragù. Quality ingredients, good wine list, including local wine by the glass. We're just passing through, but we'll definitely return for the positive experience.

10/08/2025: A typical bacaro (a tavern) serving good home-cooked food. Friendly staff and good wine. I recommend making reservations, even for lunch, as from what I've seen, it's always very popular.
05/08/2025: Good food, inconsistent service, some very kind and knowledgeable waiters, others much less present and too busy. Nice atmosphere and excellent wine selection.

21/06/2025: The preparations are delicious with quality raw materials that are always fresh. You can find fish or meat based dishes with a wide choice of side dishes. The paella is highly recommended with generous portions, also for takeaway!

16/02/2025: Well furnished and welcoming place, wide choice of sweet and savory dishes. Particularly crowded this morning perhaps because of the market so there was a wait for the coffees and the croissants were almost finished (which however can be filled with your favorite cream, in my case pistachio). The brioche breads with cooked ham are special (also possible with salmon): tasty and quality ingredients. We did an encore!! Advise

19/07/2025: Unfortunately I didn't find anything of what I expected from a beer house. The falsetto was already cooked and served half cold, as can be imagined. I won't go back there again.
28/06/2025: The ABSOLUTELY NEGATIVE thing is that they added the sauces (and therefore made us pay for them), without asking us if we wanted them: we only realized it later, reading the receipt.

12/07/2025: È da tempo che cercavo nell'entroterra un locale che rispettasse la tradizione veneziana. Ambiente familiare, la cortese assistenza della Signora che ha saputo indirizzarci nelle scelte ma principalmente la squisita semplice preparazione di tutti i piatti ordinati e pesce di qualità.
07/07/2025: Went with friends to this restaurant, really good fish, excellent appetizers, boiled meat, scallops, even the first courses were good, excellent fried food, ate really well, really good, worth trying, ok 👌.

11/07/2025: As in other reviews, I can confirm that this is a trattoria stuck in time, but it's exactly what I expected and what I was looking for, seeking out traditional dishes and flavors. The staff were kind and friendly; otherwise, I found everything else to be average, and my rating is slightly above average. I definitely recommend a visit.
15/06/2025: At Gemma you enter a trattoria that seems to have been frozen in time. You can still have a chat with Mrs. Gemma in the restaurant that is now run by her very good daughters. The choice is not excessive and the food is simple but very tasty, typical of the Venetian tradition. The experience ends with excellent homemade desserts. I recommend the trio of cod and the ricotta and fig dessert!

30/07/2025: Came for a glass of spritz. Everywhere else we went in Italy, we were treated to crackers, olives... In this place, a glass is nothing more. It's a shame.

08/07/2025: Sono stato a pranzo con colleghi , entrambi abbiamo avuto problemi di pancia nei giorni dopo ,e abbiamo aspettando solo per prenotare 45minuti ,chiamando svariate volte i camerieri .
30/06/2025: Overwhelmed staff over 20 minutes to take order had to ask for beverages and bread 10 minutes after order had been taken.
