01/04/2026: We had a truly high-quality experience at Mauro's Vecia Osteria in Mirano. You can immediately taste the difference here: excellent ingredients, meticulous selection of the catch, and a cuisine led by Elia, who works with a sure hand, respect, and moderation.
The approach created by owner Mauro, based on the market and the inspiration of the day, was convincing from start to finish: incredibly fresh raw seafood, perfectly balanced dishes, crisp flavors, and that rare feeling of being in the right place, at the right table, at the right time.
The selection of sparkling wines and accompanying wines is also highly appreciated, the fruit of research, expertise, and true passion. I recommend this place to anyone seeking substance, absolute quality, and authentic seafood culture, without unnecessary embellishments but with plenty of precision and personality. We will ALWAYS return!

27/05/2026: A very good seafood restaurant in Mirano, also offering a few meat options. Dishes are quite impressive, but also of excellent quality and quantity. The elegant yet convivial atmosphere makes you feel almost at home. The staff are attentive; to say the service is excellent is truly an understatement.

31/05/2026: We stayed at this place twice. We returned because the first time we liked it and got a room upstairs, which was fine.
The second time we got one of the rooms overlooking the garden. Firstly, there's no way to ventilate or even open a window since the only window, apart from the small bathroom window, is a glass door, and obviously you're not going to leave it open unless you're in the room or at night.
Secondly, if you happen to be there for a celebration with 50 people, as we were, you can't get a wink of sleep until they leave, since the celebration was in a tent they have just five meters from the rooms. Furthermore, the walls between the rooms are paper-thin; in short, this second time was a disaster.
31/05/2026: A wonderful, natural agriturismo with dedicated and truly excellent owners, and delicious food. We enjoyed our stay very much.

10/06/2026: Very welcoming place, nicely decorated both inside and out. The pizza dough is excellent, the salad is plentiful, the desserts are good. It's a shame about the €6 price tag for a measly scoop of ice cream passed off as sorbet of the day.

05/04/2026: We ordered Easter lunch to go for 16 people. Everything was delicious and very fresh. A special mention goes to the paella, which was a huge hit, as well as the truly remarkable appetizers, pies, and main courses. Everything was delivered promptly and packaged perfectly. The owner was very kind and helpful, and the prices were excellent. Highly recommended!

07/05/2026: A trattoria of yesteryear. The dishes are as good as home-made, although not diet-friendly. Eel, sinew, cod, tripe, rabbit, etc. Signora Gemma's daughter is a pleasure and still brings you wine. She and the place are historic. Dated but clean and tidy.

10/05/2026: I'm sorry but a plate with 4 slices of grilled vegetables, 2 potato rosti that you buy frozen, 2 slices of bread (cold) and two spoonfuls of avocado cream, €15, was really "indigestible" for me.
08/02/2026: Calling it a bar is an understatement. In this magnificent place, we had an unforgettable brunch. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly, and the prices were reasonable for the food and drinks served.
I'll definitely be back.

20/05/2026: We were there with friends, and I have to say their cicchetti are spectacular, and they also have a good selection of wines. Even though we were there for an aperitivo, my friend wanted dessert, and they made it easy for her by asking the restaurant if she could order something, and they accommodated her. They were very friendly, and we'll definitely be back, even though we're not from the area.
23/04/2026: You can't even pay 40 euros for an aperitif in the centre of Venice, it's an absurd theft, a 10 euro glass of wine when the bottle is barely worth 13, strongly not recommended, there are much better places around at more honest prices.
