Onesti come prezzi e poi che dire dei dolci?crema catalana e tortino al cioccolato dal cuore morbido toppp!vi consiglio di provare..tornerete spesso 👍🏻

21/07/2024: Da diverso tempo quando siamo in viaggio preferiamo uscire dalle strade trafficate, evitare gli autogrill dove viene servito cibo "finto" e cercare delle alternative locali e radicate nel territorio dove mangiare. Questo è uno dei posti che abbiamo incontrato lungo la strada, una trattoria, frequentata da gente del luogo di sabato a pranzo, e da lavoratori che si prendono una pausa. Il cibo è "vero" come quello che ci preparava la nonna quando tornavamo da scuola, le tagliatele fatte a mano, tutte diverse fra loro con le parti dove sono rimaste "doppie" che si sentono sotto i denti, i tortellini belli piani di carne vera, l'arrabbiata molto "arrabbiata"... Una nota sul ragù, diverso da quello a cui siamo abituati noi, molto particolare e profumato, ma sappiamo che ogni "vergara" ha la sua ricetta del ragù che non è possibile contestare!! Mangiato bene, speso poco, e l'invito della signora per la mia compagna a mangiare di più... peccato che non saremo tanto presto di nuovo in zona... altrimenti avremmo sicuramente bissato...

06/08/2024: Really delicious restaurant! The cuisine is practically only meat (no fish) and offers typical local dishes. We had a round of three appetizers, pasta with sausage ragù and a dessert (licorice semifreddo), with house wine (very good). The dishes are very generous and in the end we struggled to finish everything (I would advise not to overdo it with the starters). On Saturday evening it cost €40 each. Reservation is mandatory because there are always a lot of people! Be careful because it is only open on Saturday evenings, while on other days it only opens at midday with a €13 menu (I think...). Strongly recommended! We will be back!

27/07/2024: I recommend everyone to stop by Osteria Vera, prices are ok 👌 you eat home-made, generous dishes, choose from many first and second courses and then Bon Appetit! Ps. I'll be back for sure!

28/07/2024: Interesting place located in the historic center of Rovigo, right in front of the Conservatory where I was able to appreciate the piano exercises that accompanied my lunch. The restaurant is located under a porch with the consequent possibility of eating outside. The staff was very courteous and helpful throughout my stay. As for the food, I can only compliment the delicacy, and above all the deliciousness of the different starter. What can I say if not highly recommended for lunch for anyone who finds themselves staying in Rovigo!

10/07/2024: I have dined here several times but on the occasion of my birthday it was a disappointment. Sultry heat without any fan, narrow seats, confusing customers, pretentious and not well created menu. Pressured and rushed service.

19/08/2024: Questa volta purtroppo non all'altezza. Eravamo venuti l'anno scorso con ottima soddisfazione. Nulla da dire su personale gentilissimo, location e accoglienza. I piatti purtroppo no. Capesante bruciacchiate, fritto molto unto, piatto di crudo molto povero. Un conto esagerato rispetto a quanto consumato, anche se scontato dal titolare dopo le nostre lamentele. Non so se ci torneremo.

22/07/2024: Monica and Alberto are fantastic! We stayed at their farmhouse for a few days immediately after Easter, visiting the surrounding areas. It is in a strategic position, Ferrara, Padua, Vicenza, Bologna, Mantua, Verona all reachable in a maximum of one hour. And after walking around all day you come back and it's like coming home, pampered by the care and attention of Monica Alberto! Thanks again

14/04/2024: Cibo di ottima qualità. Servizio molto buono. Abbiamo festeggiato qui un battesimo, location ideale anche per bambini, con bello spazio esterno.

29/07/2024: We had dinner here one evening after some time but it is always a pleasure due to the excellent quality of the meat and the rest too. When you want to eat meat you have to stop by here.

26/07/2024: A former butcher's shop that now also serves as a restaurant. From the outside it is located in a very anonymous area but inside they have done a great job. You enter from the butcher's area, which promises very well, and then proceeds into the actual restaurant. The environment is very beautiful and elegant but not excessive. However, it is more of a couples environment. The service is calm and friendly, I really liked the way the waitress behaved. Finally, regarding the food, I can say that I was satisfied but not particularly impressed. The shank was a bit dry and I didn't like the meatballs too much.

25/06/2024: The food and pizzas are excellent and even the only à la carte menu lacks air conditioning at least during our dinner, otherwise everything was excellent including the super friendly staff and the very competitive price

20/06/2024: I ate at this restaurant twice and was disappointed both times. The first time I noticed a low level of service, with waitresses not inclined to hospitality, slow and poorly trained; The pizza, mediocre. I come back for a second chance and order an appetizer; finally a nice (and good) plate of good and abundant cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by very good jams and pickles/in oil. I think I changed my mind when, after having ordered the very famous Carbonara, I found on the table one of the worst mistakes that a chef could make when cooking such an important dish of the Italian tradition: THE COOKED AND SCRAMBLED EGG, instead of the "obligatory" one. cream. Unforgivable! Completely rejected.

14/08/2024: we were guests of Mr. Diego and his wife these days and I must say that we had a great time, they are very kind, the place is very beautiful and the cuisine is simple but very tasty thanks to Gino Nerina and Diuk.

15/06/2024: Esperienza pessima nonostante le aspettative alte in quanto ne avevamo sentito parlare bene. Nel locale che avevano a Rovigo si mangiava divinamente. Non so cosa sia successo stasera, ma erano completamente in tilt. Servizio lento e approssimativo. Vedevo gente che si lamentava sia dal tavolo che alzandosi e cercando dei camerieri a cui una signora ha persino restituito il piatto pieno. Doveva fare veramente schifo. I nostri piatti erano quasi tutti immangiabili. Verdure fritte che sembravano lesse. Nuvole di drago mollicce. Ordino il pollo fritto e vengono a dirmi che hanno finito il pollo. Finito il pollo????? Ad un certo punto ci siamo alzati per andare via nonostante dovesse ancora arrivarci l’ultimo piatto ordinato. No. Non ci torneremo mai più.

02/05/2024: Mi dispiace tantissimo che questo posto abbia chiuso. Ci andavo da molti anni, circa 20anni.. erano in centro prima E poi sono passati qui. Spero che aprano in un’altra sede! I loro piatti per me erano i migliori.

18/08/2024: Stunning place and certainly the best in the whole lagoon to represent the Po delta park, excellent dishes with normal prices. The dish that really pleased me was the eel cooked on the grill directly on the wood-burning fireplace, and the excellent raw dish. I will certainly recommend it to everyone.

12/08/2024: Try out the menu! Wonderful restaurant with lovely owners and very friendly staff! The food is fantastic and grilled right outside (one can watch the chef). Also the view on the lake is fantastic! We have tried Starters and Main Courses and also the menu. We can recommend everything! We found a seat on a friday night but i recommend reservations on saturday/ sunday

21/07/2024: My partner and I returned for the second time, booking lunch, exquisite food done as it should be, good family-run service, the only flaw, some flies that bother you while you eat, the owners should resolve this... (it's certainly the area ) came back with the family on Sunday for lunch, they liked everything too... relaxation and good homemade food

01/08/2024: Cena con mia moglie, locale pulito ben arredato. Titolare molto giovane, cordiale, disponibile. Menù davvero sorprendere, piatti della tradizione ,talvolta rivisitati , molto buoni. Prodotti di buonissima qualità. Da ritornarci

31/07/2024: Possono migliorare almeno del 50%. Il locale è molto bello, la ragazza cameriera molto educata. I cibi sono di qualità discreta ma abbisognano di "verve"!!! L'amatriciana non aveva carattere. .
