The Calandrino Café is a true paradise for baking lovers. Their bread is exceptional: crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, with an authentic taste that immediately makes you feel at home. The pastry shop is also spectacular, with artisanal desserts that seem to have come out of a work of art - from buttery croissants to cakes with attention to the smallest details.
And as if that wasn't enough, I'm so happy to have finally found a place that serves matcha! I had been looking for it for a long time, and here it is simply perfect: balanced, creamy and with a refined flavor that enhances the quality of the raw materials.
The welcoming atmosphere and courteous staff complete the experience. If you love good food and are looking for a place that knows how to pamper you, Il Calandrino is a must!

25/01/2025: Trattoria with horse meat specialities. A guarantee!! Always excellent food and very generous portions!! I recommend the bigoli with horse sauce and the homemade gnocchi. I have been going there for 30 years and have never been disappointed
13/01/2025: This is a historic trattoria in the Sarmeola area with fairly good prices and friendly staff. Honestly, however, I didn't like the quality of the food very much because the service is very fast but at the expense of the food which sometimes is not cooked at the moment

07/02/2025: Point of reference for workers in the area: excellent food, plentiful and always fresh, wide choice especially of side dishes, there is always at least one fish-based second course. More than honest price and 50 cent coffee in the bar corner at the entrance. Fast service even at peak times, they accept the main meal vouchers. Keep it up!

-camerieri "grezzi": siamo stati serviti da una signora bionda che dire sgarbata è poco. Alla richiesta di una candelina sopra il dolce la risposta è stata:"se gavì da fare el compleanno ndasì da n'altra parte".Inoltre molto sbrigativa nelle risposte, da una vineria mi aspettavo qualche consiglio sul vino.
-servizio da cinesi: se ti ordino un calice di cremant de bourgogne, non puoi versarlo al banco, voglio vedere la bottiglia e anche l'annata, dato anche il costo del calice in questione. Inoltre non me lo metti nel tavolo quasi lanciato e scappi, come dare da mangiare al cane.
-carbonara sopravvalutata: se gli stai antipatico ti danno metà porzione rispetto ad altri, inoltre è palese la presenza di panna, se devo pagare quei soldi per una carbonara pesante e pannosa me la faccio a casa che la faccio meglio io.
Delusione, rovinato il compleanno della mia ragazza, non tornerò.
