First time at this restaurant, I had a mixed horse meat appetizer and a sliced horse meat with various sides. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but it's clean.

Every time we're in the Padua area, we stop at this trattoria. The food is tasty and flavorful, the place is rustic and unfussy, authentic. Excellent value.

It truly has the charm of a home-style trattoria. It's my regular stop at least 4-5 times a month when I'm in the area working. Excellent, high-quality food with a fixed lunch menu. Paolo, the owner, manages a team of enthusiastic young women and girls with a smile. You leave with a full belly and a smile. It's a great place for dinner. I haven't been yet, but just reading the menu already has me drooling. 🤣🤣 Highly recommended.

The horse meat is unforgettable, and the rest of the food is good, simple. Friendly staff in a slightly dated setting... Recommended for something "alternative."

Incredible experience, excellent, high-quality food, appetizers featuring cured horse meat, generous first courses, and meat-based second courses with classic Venetian side dishes.
The meat was perfectly cooked.
The desserts were also delicious.
What I appreciate most in a restaurant or trattoria is a classic, minimalist menu—not too many things, just a few options, but high-quality, and at Ottavo you can find exactly that.
I'll be back!
