21/06/2025: We booked a room as we were cycling to Ortisei. The rooms were very clean, the location very quiet, and the restaurant was truly 10/10.

19/06/2025: Stayed one night and had dinner in the restaurant. The rooms themselves are quite spacious, which was nice. We had two windows which had a nice view of the area and brought in a nice breeze, which was essential as the air conditioning was nonexistent. Bathroom also pretty large. Check-in was easy enough and they had ample parking. It's a little bit out of the way and certainly not walkable to town, but that's what we expected for a rifugio. For convenience, we ate dinner in the restaurant, which was actually more crowded than I was expecting. The dishes were good, nothing really so memorable but hit the spot. We got: fried artichokes (nice sauce, great presentation), tagliatelle with mushrooms (I quite enjoyed the butteriness of the pasta and the chunks of a mushroom I don't typically eat), beet ravioli (interesting texture, enjoyed the brown butter sauce), and the ossobuco (tender, sizable portion of meat, enjoyed the polenta). We asked for recommendations for dessert and went with the kaiserschmarren-not a dish I've had before and I didn't quite care for it and found it to be a bit bland but maybe that's what it is supposed to be. One thing I didn't quite understand about the hotel is that the lights for each floor seem to turn off immediately so when you enter a new floor you have to turn them on each time. This wasn't such a big deal but for example when I was carrying drinks upstairs, it became a bit difficult to see where I was going. Breakfast the morning we left was simple but had enough for anyone to find what they'd want. Service was super pleasant, helpful, made for an easy stay.

17/06/2025: Low reviews on google are so irrelevant. How could you rate 1 star to a restaurant that does not accept you because they are full at the moment and you don’t even bother to turn up early? 1 star because of the system is just diabolical. Cancerous reviewers. Anyway, the food was amazing. The spaghetti with tomatoes (couldn’t remember its name) was my fav, simple yet rich in flavor. I love all the food we ordered. House wine - red is definitely not disappointing. Definitely worth your effort to come early at 7pm when they open for dinner and book yourselves a table.

11/06/2025: Today we ordered salad, steak, fish fillet, truffle pasta, caramel pudding, and a liter of red wine. Every dish was delicious and we had a very happy and satisfied meal.

28/06/2025: We drank just a lemonade, but were allowed to charge our phones and got help with figuring out public transport in the area. Great staff, so helpful and caring!

27/06/2025: Just before lunchtime we tried to stop for a very short break in the parking lot of the place (empty, where there was no signage) without bothering anyone. We were rudely kicked out for no apparent reason by the owner who addressed us in an extremely rude manner to say the least. If this is the treatment reserved for potential customers well... I recommend moving on.

31/03/2025: It’s a concept that you wholeheartedly come to believe through the email. Service is so passionate and enthusiastic about what they’re doing. The Sommelier has a nose for exactly what your palette desires. No one is upselling you. No one is telling you to spend 1000s. Fine dining in the most casual sense. Elevating what farm to table defines. Lovely.

15/03/2025: Nos encantó SanBrite - si usted es un amante de la comida, usted debe ir. Hemos descubierto que muchos restaurantes con estrellas Michelin parecen ser bastante similares en estos días y a menudo carecen de algo... ¡pero no de SanBrite! Desde el momento en que llegamos hasta el momento en que nos fuimos, toda la experiencia fue increíble. Tuvimos el menú degustación @ Euros 150 por persona y fue increíble. Unos cuantos artículos peculiares en el camino y luego un viaje sorpresa a la bodega para el curso de queso - maravilloso - no vamos a olvidar que en un apuro! Personal brillante también - el jefe de cocina solía trabajar en Osteria Francescana en Módena, que creo que en algún momento, fue elegido el mejor restaurante del mundo. Do go - fue por mucho la mejor comida que tuvimos en Cortina d'Ampezzo! Gracias chicos!

12/06/2025: We had fettuccine with venison ragù, a risotto with parmesan fondue, saffron and Jerusalem artichoke and a potato with speck onion. Everything very very very good!!! The only flaw is the quantity of risotto, it was really very little, it must have been 4 spoonfuls of rice for 16.00 euros. The fettuccine were also very few, always 16.00 euros per dish. My advice for the chef is to add a little more quantity of pasta or rice to the dishes. In any case, excellent dishes!!

14/05/2025: We had a lovely dinner at Al Camin. The setting is cozy. The food was delicious especially the venison ravioli—well presented and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall, a great place for a special meal in Cortina.

10/05/2025: Lovely restaurant up on a hill at Cortina d’Ampezzo. We had a late lunch at 1 pm and the crowd was moderate. The food is hearty and tasty. Do try their venison dishes. The restaurant is really good with their venison dishes. Definitely one of the better Alpine food we have tasted.

09/03/2025: Excelente comida, servicio y decoración. Joven chef y sumiller muy conocedor. Creo que merece una estrella Michelin. Uno de los dos mejores restaurantes de Cortina con San Brite, en mi opinión por supuesto.

28/01/2025: Uno de los mejores restaurantes de Cortina. El personal es muy acogedor y cálido, merecen la mejor atención. La ubicación es muy chula, ya que está cerca de la zona de esquí, por lo que puede parar también para almorzar después de esquiar. La comida es increíble, viene en abundancia y merece los precios honestos. Seguro que se quedará en mi lista de restaurantes favoritos en los Alpes.

22/06/2025: We couldn't go to the restaurant we originally planned to go to, so we happened to stop by on our way back to our accommodation. The venison we tried for the first time really melted in our mouths, and the potato sauce that came with it went well with it. When we showed them the pasta photo we saw in a review, they said that it was no longer on the menu, but they were happy to make tomato pasta for us! We also ordered a glass of wine, and the food and wine were both delicious, so we ordered an extra bottle, and the tiramisu we ordered for dessert was so delicious that we almost fainted again ㅠ ㅠ We were moved by the fact that they made us realize that venison is delicious, and by the pasta they made for us. ^^ (It turned out that it was a local restaurant, so the line was really long after we got in ㅎㅎ)

27/01/2025: Abbiamo pernottato al rifugio Malga Ra Stua come seconda tappa del nostro tour invernale a piedi, sotto una nevicata che ha reso piu magico e immacolato il panorama e indispensabili le ciaspole che ci eravamo portati. Simone del Ra Stua ha il merito di averci consigliato questo percorso con partenza dal Pederü, prima tappa al Fanes, seconda tappa al Ra stua, passando per il Fodara Vedla per poi chiudere l’anello al Pederu e recuperare la macchina. I nostri complimenti allo staff, giovane accogliente e genuino, quanto genuina è stata l’eccellente cena gustata dopo una faticosa giornata sulle ciaspole. Il tortino come antipasto, il duetto di ravioli e la zuppa di zucca come primi entrambi deliziosi, per secondo abbiamo scelto la fresca e gustosa insalata invernale e le classiche ma cotte alla perfezione uova al tegamino con patate ra stua. A conclusione di un menu da ristorante gourmet un dessert sublime: lo strudel monoporzione con gelato alla vaniglia e crumble, che dire…. Piu di cosi non si puo. Camera piu che confortevole, ambienti caldi e puliti, personale disponibilissimo a soddisfare ogni esigenza. super consigliato!!

18/06/2025: Pranzo di lavoro con vista spettacolare in un ristorante molto curato che offre piatti della tradizione. Favoloso il burro salato offerto con il pane.

09/03/2025: Refuge 8 km above Cortina, surrounded by meadows and woods with LE TOFANE behind it. Beautifully furnished in reclaimed wood from an old TABIA (BAYER). Very friendly owners, very helpful and ready to recommend excellent quality dishes. Availability of 4 rooms all furnished in wood with great care and with a view of the mountains. Many thanks to Lorena. I highly recommend for a lunch or dinner in a magnificent place.

20/04/2025: Accessible by cable car from Cortina for €27, even for NON-skiers. The views are top. The cable car starts at 8.30, and then from 9 it goes every twenty minutes. Places are limited, you have to go in time. Parking is also complicated, better to walk from the hotel.
