20/12/2024: Memorable evening. One of the best services of the year. Lots of care and delicious food.

02/11/2024: My husband and I had the absolute best time here while celebrating our honeymoon. We loved how quaint/simple/rustic it was. The service was outstanding, everyone was so nice and they worked so well together. We did the Germoglio tasting with a wine pairing for me and non alcoholic for my husband. We both loved how he got to enjoy the stories and tastes of some very unique drinks which hasn't been the case at other restaurants we've enjoyed. We loved almost all of the dishes (but I wouldn't count any stars off just because a dish wasn't our favorite). The BUTTER, we couldn't get enough! We got to go to the cheese room which was an entire experience all on its own. Really not sure how people say they left hungry, we certainly didn't. The only regret I had was not being there before the sun went down so we could have enjoyed the beauty more. Thank you for some great memories!!

19/01/2025: Servizio scarso e disunito. Piatti incommentabili, in testa la guancia al Lagrrein, pessima. Epensare che fino a 6 mesi fa avevamo sempre mangiato discretamente. Qualcosa e’ sicuramente cambiato.

10/01/2025: Tutto impeccabile. Non conoscevamo questo ristorante , si trova a qualche km di distanza dal centro di Cortina. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente incantati da questo rifugio che sa di casa. Il locale è stupendo , autentico e caldo. Il personale delizioso. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e i prodotti di alta qualità , anche dolci eccezionali. È stata la cena migliore della nostra settimana bianca. P.s. fettuccina al ragù di vitello migliore del mondo e tartare di cervo insuperabile

17/01/2025: I stopped for a break and couldn't try any dish on the menu. The place is nothing short of beautiful, small but welcoming. I was welcomed by the guys who run the refuge who immediately made me feel at ease. I tasted some truly special mulled wine and paid a very honest 4.50 euros. From the menu I was able to read about very interesting dishes (at fair prices). I will definitely have the opportunity to return. Compliments.

31/12/2024: The restaurant is very elegant and refined, in perfect style of the place in which it is located. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the level does not seem to live up to the restaurant's claims and its prices. We consumed the tasting menu which simply consisted of an appetizer, a first course, a second course and a dessert from those on the à la carte menu. We didn't like at all that one of the two starters (soft egg) was served with a broken yolk (see photo)! Both were also served too cold. The first course (lamb tortelli with mountain pesto) was really excellent! As well as dessert. What most caused the restaurant to lose its level was the long wait for the second course (deer with Giau hay): we were only served when the other tables who had ordered it had also been served the deer. I understand the needs of the kitchen but I find it unacceptable to wait so long between courses in a restaurant with these demands. Top location.

25/12/2024: One of the best dinners! Well-kept and cuddly environment, breathtaking location. Attentive, smiling and precise staff immediately puts you at ease. Each course left its mark, simple but at the same time refined. All ingredients were of the highest quality. The dessert, creme caramel with soft meringues and frozen raspberry, is one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. Super recommended ♥️

08/01/2025: Lovely place with traditional Alpine design and local food. Very cozy. I recommend sitting next to the furnace which nicely warms you up. All of the food was delicious - beef cheek, sliced beef, venison and a nice selection on the cutting board. We were alone there so the waiter was nicely taking care of us. He was professional with his attitude and handling our requests.

30/10/2024: The pizza was good, however the food handling is terrible, I seen the guy who serves the pizza smoking and picking his nose with the gloves on, after that he continued serving other customers food without changing the gloves. They need to be more hygienic

13/12/2024: The experience in this place is limited to contacting my partner via WhatsApp for a "Christmas" reservation. Initially we are told that the lunch is sold out... but then, a twist! In the next message, he writes: well, however, now that I have seen the profile photo (in costume) I could find a free position.. I would say of little professionalism but a lot of squalor..

24/12/2024: Visiting Cortina from the United States during holiday season with the family. The staff provided excellent service with exemplary hospitality. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Italy, I definitely recommend the local specialty of stewed deer.

04/01/2025: I am deeply sorry to say that the service was incredibly disrespectful and disappointing. I don't usually leave negative reviews at all, but my mother was treated with incredible rudeness. My mother, who suffers from a visual impairment, ordered a first course by mistake, not having asked if it contained eggs, having misread. When she kindly apologized, explaining that she couldn't eat it, an extremely rude lady returned to the table with the plate, leaving it there untouched while we ate and arrogantly replying that she should have read better, and that it was written in large letters to have to say any intolerances. I would like to point out that we never said we didn't want to pay for the dish and we apologized for the mistake. We were absolutely outraged by such disrespectful behavior. Add to this that the Ampezzo potatoes were of poor quality, the lamb chops were poor and, as regular visitors to Cortina, we were deeply disappointed. It was one of the most disrespectful and unpleasant experiences I've ever had in a restaurant.

19/12/2024: Very clean, great views, good value. Delicious breakfast! Everyone was very nice. Except the manager - she was a bit annoying, made faces and rolled her eyes on a couple of occasions - just not a pleasant person. Otherwise the rest of the staff were extremely sweet and helpful

28/09/2024: El restaurante es relajado y amable con un servicio profesional y una gran cocina. Nuestro grupo de seis acordó que tuvimos una de las mejores comidas de nuestro viaje aquí. La habitación en la que estábamos sentados estaba panelada en madera clara en el estilo alpino. Es encantador. Muy recomendable.
