06/05/2026: Truly one of the most memorable dining experiences of our trip to Italy. The staff is about as friendly and warm as it gets and the food was unique and spectacular. We will highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for being open while others were closed in the off season!

31/03/2026: The restaurant was a complete surprise, absolutely amazing! In order of best: - Rice with prawn and curry sauce - Mashed potatoes - Buckwheat pasta - And a steak, but I forgot the name; it used to be wrapped in pork, but they changed it. They were fantastic; they took care of every detail you needed.

12/04/2026: I've been going to the Ariston for several years, first as a pizzeria, now as a restaurant, and it's always a fantastic experience. The quality of the food is top-notch, beautifully presented, and the service is excellent and fast. The owner, Fabrizio, and his wife are always very kind and smiling, and it's a real pleasure to eat there. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with tasteful mountain-style furnishings. My favorite dish is the sea bass fillet in a crispy bread crust: it's delicate, yet flavorful and delicious, highly recommended! 06/05/2026: With a tranquil mountain lodge feel and a room filled with the scent of wood, I was able to rest well in a comfortable atmosphere. The accommodations in Rome and Florence were terrible, but this place was very clean and spacious, allowing me to comfortably open my suitcase. Also, having Korean processed foods like Maxim coffee, ramen, and soy milk available makes it seem like a great place for Koreans to stay. Highly recommended.

02/06/2026: We had a lovely dining experience at Lago Scin. We chose the four-course surprise menu selected by the chef, accompanied by wine pairings. What we experienced was truly remarkable. The meal began with a marinated trout salad, followed by pasta with tomato and ricotta cheese, and then a beautifully prepared lamb dish served with mushrooms and polenta. Each course was thoughtfully paired with high-quality Italian wines that complemented the flavors perfectly. The evening concluded with a dessert and a digestif. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely pleasant, making us feel welcome throughout the entire meal.Altogether, it was remarkable dining experience that we would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, the food was a bit too much on the experimentation side and half of it was really good and half of it didn't really work unfortunately. We were really looking forward to this place so it was a bit unfortunate in the end, especially considering the price of being there.

23/03/2026: Let me start by saying that I hate not being able to choose what to eat, and therefore the tasting menus. Therefore, when I booked, I made sure they offered the à la carte menu. As soon as we entered, we were seated in a cozy common room where we were literally forced to order an aperitif. Our neighbors tried to decline, asking directly for a bottle to accompany their meal, but they were denied the option! Not wanting a spirit as an aperitif, we were forced to opt for a very expensive champagne (€35 and €50 a glass), accompanied by a series of small appetizers that, truth be told, we didn't request. My husband raised some valid criticisms about the much-vaunted €50 glass, and the sommelier blamed the type of glass... Finally, we sat down at the table and asked for two glasses of red to accompany our choices. We were offered only one option and no price was given. Finally, the food arrived, which was undoubtedly high-quality. I understand that making ends meet with only ten tables in Cortina isn't easy, but certain "forced" arrangements are ultimately unpleasant. Having a star doesn't justify any policy that limits diners' freedom of choice.

14/02/2026: Always excellent food! Superb ingredients, stunning presentation, and exceptional flavor. A very beautiful and quiet location, with friendly and attentive service. The number one in Cortina, the only one we always return to!

06/04/2026: This place has the worst hospitality i ever encountered. Even dare to call it hostile. We were just about parking outside of the restaurant private parking (road side) and have one guy even not asking if we were going to eat there (which was actually our plan) immediately saying we could not park because it was “his property” and he owned everything. Not even one sign of private parking or property at sight. They think they own the entire pass road. Do not even give money to people like this. You have much better options couple meters above

24/01/2026: What an absolute treasure this place is. Spent 5 days skiing with Tiziana and being treated to superb hospitality by Gianluca and his team. The accomodations were comfortable and the dinners were delicious (thank you Carmine!) ... And the views each morning (see pictures) were simply stunning. If you have a chance to go and stay here during the winter ski season ... JUST DO IT and thank me later!

08/01/2026: The bald waiter was very rude, yelling and pressuring us. He didn't even write down the order properly.

30/12/2025: The restaurant doesn't take reservations; it's first-come, first-served. Anyone not wearing proper thermal clothing will freeze outside. Plus, there's the incessant cigarette smoke. You have to eat your food quickly or it gets cold. The service is very poor, despite the good will and friendliness of the person taking orders. They're wasting money because we couldn't stand it and left. The food is good and the wine list is quite extensive.

22/05/2026: Great food, awful service from the male host who treated us with disdain. Luckily, another waiter stepped in and gave us a much better service. Would not come back.

22/05/2026: We had to wait a bit, but at least they have gluten-free pasta options. It costs €5 per person. Otherwise, everything was fine.

21/04/2026: Beautiful experience, a mountain hut surrounded by nature... Between snow and meadows... Very comfortable room and delicious and tasty breakfast... To be repeated!

08/04/2026: My partner and I got lost coming down from Cinque Torri, as there was so much snow that the trail markers were barely visible. We decided to end up in Poccol, a village 10km from our campervan, which was parked at Passo Guiau. It was getting very late, so we decided to hitchhike, but very few people were passing by. Luckily, we came across Peziè de Parù, and the owner offered us a ride back to where our campervan was parked. She also refused to take any of the money we offered her out of gratitude for her kindness. I wish there were more people like her in the world.
