15/02/2026: The food at Camin is excellent: every dish is carefully crafted and meticulously prepared, and the high-quality ingredients are clearly evident. The tartare with different seasonal accompaniments, the venison with raspberries, the pasta dishes, the cinnamon ice cream... every item on the menu is a guarantee. The owners are always attentive and very helpful, and the staff is professional, kind, and knowledgeable. We visit Cortina several times a year, and it's a must-visit for us. Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: My wife and I have tried a few michelin starred restaurants and this one stands out, cannot recommend it highly enough. They explain how their farm works, the dairy production/crops/animals. They talked about how the uneaten food is recycled to their animals. They talked about how they were using ingredients in non traditional ways to stick to their farm to table ethos (such as preparing celery in such a way as to get sugar out of it). Really fascinating stuff. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We loved the amuse bouche with peas (pictured). Their rye bread and butter were incredibly special (pictured). The main was beef tongue w/ this herbal ragout that was fantastic. A wonderful surprise was being able to see their cheese making in the basement while having the housemade cheese course (pictured). They were kind and flexible to dietary restrictions and the amount of alcohol you wanted to drink (you could order a wine pairing or just glass-by-glass pairings with your meal. the wine pairing was like 8-10, my wife got 3). I made reservations a couple weeks prior to our vacation there, no issue.

16/01/2026: I drank hot chocolate and enjoyed the view. Of course, it was late afternoon and the kitchen was closed, so I was only serving drinks and enjoying the view of the snow.

30/01/2026: We went twice during our trip in Cortina. The pasta is chef’s kiss. Perfectly al dente, flavourful and generous portions. I also recommend the inverse tiramisu for dolce vita.

08/11/2025: Best recommend this hotel in Cortina d’ Ampezzo. Nice view, good accommodations, very helpful staff. I forgot my sunglasses during my stay at the hotel and I try to contact the hotel in several times but unfortunately that hotel will be closed on the next day. At first time they seem didn’t find my sunglasses but next 7 days, they informed me that they have found it and sent back to me from Italy to Thailand. Thank you very much. That’s really change my opinion about the hotel in Italy.

03/11/2025: This place now holds a very special place in our hearts. My now wife and I chose the Dolomites as our wedding elopement location and Dolomití Lodge couldn't have been better hosts. Veronica and the rest of the team up front were so warm and friendly and we felt at ease and comfortable right when we walked in. We chose a junior suite and we loved the open space and the in-room sauna. The mountain views you get from your room are unbelievable. The amenities are really great including a nice, quiet gym, a beautiful pool and relaxation room with spectacular views and a wonderful spa. The restaurant is top notch! They really take care of their guests at breakfast with a lot of great options and excellent service. The dinner menu is fantastic and there are plenty of really good wine options. We particularly loved the gnocchi, green spaetzle and the strudel. Special shoutout to Guilia for taking really good care of us throughout our stay. Overall, this is just a really lovely place and we were so happy that we chose to stay here for this special time in our lives. We cant wait to come back!

16/01/2026: We only had one lunch, which was truly enjoyable. The food was very good, with great care taken in the preparation and presentation of the dishes. You could sense the attention and passion, not only in the kitchen but also in the customer service: the staff was excellent, kind, and professional. If I had to find a small criticism, it would be the portions, perhaps a little small, but overall, the place was definitely worth it. A truly positive experience, we left very happy. A well-deserved lunch!

09/10/2025: We were welcomed by very warm and friendly staff all night. Every dish was delicious and perfectly cooked! During the day the views of the mountains through the window is also really nice. We got the Sea Bass made in a special way in salt which was really tender and fresh. Lobster linguine did not disappoint either! Would come back

17/02/2026: The food was delicious, and for Cortina, the price was fair. The space between tables is very narrow, and you don't know where to hang your jackets. Also, considering the Olympics, they should be more careful. It opens at 12:00 and quickly filled up because the competitions started at 2:00. You can't turn on the heating at 12:00. The dining room wasn't ready either. I'd definitely go back.

28/10/2025: Last minute stay during late season (end of October) and it was a very pleasant surprise. Comfortable beds, great staff, and we ended up eating in the restaurant even though we had booked a room with no board, and it was delicious. Local food done simple and well. Wish we had more than 16 hours to spend there.

25/01/2026: Our recent visit to the "La Tavernetta" restaurant in Cortina d'Ampezzo unfortunately turned out to be a profoundly negative experience, not so much for the food itself, but for customer service that to call unacceptable is an understatement. Despite the expectations raised by the location and prices, we were met with a reality of rudeness, misleading information, and a complaint handling that was nothing short of outrageous. Arrival: We chose this restaurant based on online recommendations and a clearly visible sign outside announcing the kitchen was open until 11:00 PM. Arriving at 9:40 PM, we were greeted by a waitress who, in a brusque and dismissive tone, informed us that the kitchen was already closed and that the only option left was pizza. This initial discrepancy between what was promised and what was offered marked the beginning of a bad evening, leaving us with the feeling of being second-class customers, arriving too late (but still before the kitchen closed) to deserve full service. The Service: The attitude of the dining room staff contributed to an unpleasant atmosphere. Both the first waitress and the colleague who took our orders displayed a total lack of friendliness and courtesy. The service was rushed and impersonal, making us feel more like a burden than welcome guests. In a restaurant positioned in the medium-high price range, one would expect a much higher level of hospitality and customer service. The Pizza: Another disappointment at €18. Forced to settle for pizza, I opted for one of the "specials" with porcini mushrooms and gorgonzola, priced at €18. The bitter surprise was twofold: there was no trace of gorgonzola, and the mushrooms, praised as porcini, turned out to be of inferior quality, lacking their characteristic aroma and flavor. It's true that they're not in season here, so they use preserved mushrooms, and I accept that; perhaps it's too much to ask for the same level of expertise as with fresh porcini mushrooms. However, what we received was a very low-quality mushroom. In our group, we had a mushroom expert from Valdossola who collects and preserves different varieties every year, and he confirmed the low quality of the product. The pizza was also excessively greasy and overall bland. A product that in no way justified the asking price, making me feel, in effect, cheated. Complaint Handling: I politely expressed my displeasure to the head waiter, who, after promising to report it to the kitchen, literally disappeared for almost fifteen minutes. His tactic, apparently, was to avoid confrontation, leaving the customer waiting for a response that never came. The climax of the evening was reached with the intervention of the pizza chef, who introduced himself as the manager's husband. Instead of listening to the customer's arguments, he reacted with unprecedented arrogance and rudeness. He questioned our judgment (which, however amateurish, always comes from a customer), challenged me, "What do I do for a living?" and, faced with my calm insistence, urged me to "never come back" if I wasn't satisfied. This was unspeakable behavior, demonstrating a complete inability to handle constructive criticism and a profound lack of respect for those who, with their money, choose to trust a business. Conclusion: A Restaurant to Avoid I can't judge the food, since we were treated badly. The overall experience, however, was so negative that I would advise against La Tavernetta. A restaurant isn't just about food, it's also about hospitality and respect for the customer, values ​​that are completely absent here. If you're looking for hospitality and good food, Cortina certainly offers better options.
