08/12/2025: Excellent tourist menu for just €19, with truly delicious, tasty, and well-cooked dishes... not the usual low-quality menu designed to please passing tourists, but a presentation of dishes, from the starter to the main course, and the side dishes, truly worthy of a high-end restaurant.
Well-maintained restaurant and welcoming staff.
Last but not least, Shazzi, a friendly and welcoming waiter from
Bangladeshi, who runs the restaurant with courtesy, kindness, and attention to detail... you'd return just for him.

06/12/2025: While traveling through town, we stopped at this trattoria. The food was quite good, but the portions, especially the reginette al ragù, were very small—about 70 grams—and this doesn't justify the high price. The coffee also contributed to the less satisfying experience. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a photo of the reginette. Overall, while I enjoyed the flavor, the value for money leaves something to be desired.
16/11/2025: If you're a meat lover (especially), this is a place to go. Everything is delicious and well-presented, with decent portions and a great atmosphere.

Trattoria da Gianni was one of the best places we ate in Venice. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and clearly prepared with great care and quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, giving you a true Italian trattoria experience away from the tourist crowds. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
If you’re looking for genuine Italian cuisine, generous portions, and an authentic Venetian experience, Trattoria da Gianni is a must-visit. We truly enjoyed every moment and would happily come back again!

In the on-site workshop, they also make bread, focaccia, and other leavened products, as well as jams, spreads, and other products available for purchase.
Attentive and friendly service.
The overall quality of the place is due to the owner's passion and knowledge of raw materials!

08/12/2025: I stopped by for a meeting with others and breakfast. The place is nice and well-kept, and the service is quick.
Exactly a year later, I stopped by for dinner, and the pizza was really good, and the service was fast. It's also a good restaurant with plenty of seating and a good menu to choose from.
