20/07/2025: Friday dinner. The cured meats chosen as a starter were the same as those you find in the supermarket: dry and stringy. Gluten-free fried appetizers are not available (not even chips). The gluten-free pizza was little more than a wet piadina with no trace of leavening (I attach a photo), it came back healthy, just without mozzarella Even though the wait staff also recognized that it wasn't good, at the checkout they didn't even pretend to want to give a discount. In my house if a pizza is returned you don't really charge for it The regular gluten free pizza was good. There is really a lot of work to be done on gluten-free, perhaps drawing from those who already know how to do it. The dining room staff was friendly and helpful. Inappropriate prices

08/03/2025: Had lunch with the Sunday travel group on 03/08/2025 after having been to Sirmione and before going to the Sigurtà Park. Agreed menu, two first courses, second course with side dish, cake and coffee. All excellent and plentiful, with an encore of first courses, served promptly and professionally, all 85 diners more than satisfied.

24/02/2025: Volevo provare "da Mara" dopo avere letto le ottime recensioni, ma a pranzo in settimana abbiamo trovato il pranzo di lavoro a menù fisso 15€. No comment, perché non lo sapevamo e ci siamo accontentati. Non capisco chi ci va a cena sulla statale con tutti i meravigliosi ristoranti di Borghetto e Valeggio centro. Tortellini manco l'ombra! Comunque... risotto insapore, vitello tonnato da dimenticare, decenti i finocchi. Nessun menù alternativo proposto... e per fortuna!

01/05/2025: Family atmosphere, very welcoming, quiet and clean. Mrs. Andreina and her daughter welcomed our family with courtesy and availability. I found the home cooking to be very good with a good quality/price ratio.

23/07/2025: I'm on vacation in the area and tried this place with my wife and daughter. It's a very nice place, but the only positive thing is that it has an exorbitant number of seats and a menu that offers "anything" (from sushi to burgers, pizza, tacos, and everything else you can think of) that they struggle to manage. Terrible service and a terrible quality-price ratio. Tomorrow night I'll try to move to a less fancy place where they know how to serve good food.

23/07/2025: I returned after many years with some colleagues and, perhaps because I didn't have a clear memory of it, I found the atmosphere different from how I remembered it. The exterior is very well-kept, mosquito-free, and with good distance between tables, making it pleasant and relaxing. For the first time, I also saw the interior, which impressed me with its spacious spaces and welcoming decor. The accessibility of the bathroom for people with disabilities was greatly appreciated, a sign of care and respect. We ate the pizza, which was good, but I also saw some truly inviting meat and fish dishes. Prices were reasonable. A positive experience!

09/08/2025: We only had a drink here... The server was very friendly and quick! The bar's location is great!

02/08/2025: The service was polite and prompt when we took our order, but that was unfortunately where the positives ended. The bruschetta was okay, but nothing special. We then had to wait about an hour for our main courses (1 pizza, 2 pasta dishes, 1 burger). These were only served after we asked one of the waiters. He told us that the kitchen couldn't keep up with the orders, even though the restaurant was only half full. Strangely, our food was served 3 minutes later. All the dishes were only lukewarm, and the pasta was already hardened. I would like to point out the pizza as a particularly disappointing dish. In terms of quality, it couldn't compete with a frozen pizza. When we told the waiter this, he simply pointed out that the place was a bar and if we wanted decent food, we should have gone to a restaurant, and he blamed us. Afterwards, we had the feeling that the waiters were trying to get rid of us as quickly as possible.

15/07/2025: It was one of the best pizzas we've had so far in Italy. The staff was incredibly attentive. They also helped us with our bike tour of Italy. Eternally grateful!! Thank you very much

12/07/2025: The best pizza ever ❤️. The service is so nice ❤️ The pizza Chef is such a kind and a wonderfull man. We liked the atmosphere, the pizza was exquisite, the price was good, the service was excellent and we got a delicious surprise from the Owner. I highly recommend that place to eat in and also to take out. Just Perfect♥️👍

28/07/2025: Posto davvero molto bello, ma, stupidamente, non avendo letto il menù prima di prenotare, ho chiesto dei semplici gnocchi al pomodoro, che mi sono stati addebitati alla modica cifra di 19 euro per 10 gnocchi contati. Mi astengo da ogni commento che sarebbe superfluo per chi ha un minimo di buonsenso.

06/06/2025: Nothing to say about the waiters, but the owner, let's leave it alone. First she says one thing and then another, and she was not flexible on the needs of a group of about 80 people. Think that she did not want to make decaffeinated coffees so as not to lose out on the price established previously where the coffee was included.

17/04/2025: We decided to walk the Grand Canal on our last night in the city. Usually I’d avoid places to eat right on the water, fearing both for price and quality but I’m delighted to say neither were affected here. All staff were really lovely, kind about our pigeon Italian and engaging with our easily embarrassed 14 year old. We had 2 cocktails and 2 soft drinks, 2 pasta dishes and pizza. They had gluten free pasta but not pizza and all of it was delicious. Our bill was €104 including cover charge. This is a bit more than we’d paid elsewhere for similar amounts but not much. View was incredible and people watching potential 10/10. I’d definitely recommend

20/07/2025: Good products, clean environment and friendly staff. We went there in a hot day and the AC was off. Would have had a better experience if it was switched on. The rest was perfect
