22/04/2025: Tried it with colleagues at work and I must say that it turned out to be a pleasant discovery. Excellent panzerotti, both baked and fried, at fair prices. Prompt, efficient service and friendly staff. I recommend it for a quick lunch but also to take home!

02/04/2025: Excellent option for a quick lunch near the university. Wide choice of panzerotti and pucce. The panzerotti can be requested either fried or baked. We tried a classic fried one (tomato and mozzarella) and a baked speck and mushrooms, both very good. Prices appropriate to what is offered, recommended for those who need to eat something quickly nearby.

25/04/2025: We are on the agri-restaurant style. Warm and welcoming dining room, retro tavern style entrance.... Abundant dishes and friendly, precise service. We had dinner on a Friday evening with a menu established by us, changed slightly at our discretion at the time but without any problems from the kitchen. From the appetizers, to the first courses, to the second courses, to the side dishes and the dessert, I don't have one in particular to highlight, as they are all very good and well prepared. For this reason, when I return, I will certainly be undecided about what to eat. And I hope to return soon. Compliments.

16/06/2025: Absolutely unforgettable gourmet pizzas, the imagination of chef Paolo amazes every time and always shows great passion and expertise in selecting top quality raw materials and making extreme combinations. Friendly and always kind staff. My favorite pizzeria. The tables are well spaced.

05/08/2025: The food was quite good. However, they charge a €2.50 per person seat tax. The lasagna was very small and expensive (€14). Unfortunately, our son didn't eat it, and we wanted to take the rest with us. The waiter apparently didn't understand this and threw it in the trash. Very annoying!!

03/08/2025: I made a reservation for gluten-free pizza for Sunday lunch. When I made the reservation, I asked if they could prepare a gluten-free dessert. It was my partner's birthday, and he's celiac. In the message, they said they'd do their best for dessert and confirmed the reservation. We arrived right on time. They informed me they could make gluten-free pizza, but they didn't make gluten-free pizza for lunch—it instantly took me back to the '70s and '80s. It was funny, I thought, we'd share the whole pizza experience, and I'll order the SG, too. The pizza dough wasn't great; we know they're frozen (or vacuum-packed) products, so we weren't surprised, but I think they could use a better crust. The quality of this one, which still costs three euros more than the regular one, was really poor. The tomato was the most disappointing aspect for me; it was acidic, with chunks of tomato, and at just over halfway through, I had to leave it. The mozzarella looks better than it tastes good—it doesn't even taste bad, to be honest, and you couldn't taste it at all. I know you don't come to Chioggia for the pizza, but it's our happy moment, and we had high hopes for it. Oh, and they forgot about the dessert. To the owner: this review isn't meant to be punitive. The place is beautiful and in a fantastic location, but the choice of ingredients and raw materials really makes a difference. Celiacs who come to Chioggia have very few options for decent food. Hell, there isn't a single pastry shop that offers gluten-free options. You could be a reference point for this crowd, but if you do, at least try to do it as best as possible, even for the sake of the extra money you're asking for, which is good, hard-earned money.

30/06/2025: I waited over an hour for the appetizers that arrived before the entrée. In the hour-long wait I (as well as everyone else) stuffed ourselves with bread (when it's 10:30 and you haven't eaten anything yet, it can happen). The meat is basically like a normal barbecue (with quality meat, nothing to complain about). But what justifies a price of 50 euros if the service is like a festival and the location is like a Chinese bar?

04/07/2025: We were fooled by the good reviews. I've never experienced anything so horrible. The antipasti consisted of moldy sausage – disgusting. The pasta with asparagus and fish was disgustingly overcooked. Everything was absolutely terrible. And at a horrendous price, too.

15/06/2025: Great place, the food is really good, we had a round of first courses and they were exquisite, as were the second courses, the quail was good and tender, we will return

03/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questa locanda a confine famigliare e sono rimasto a dir poco entusiasta: cucina semplice ma sicuramente migliore dei classici ristoranti, piatti abbondanti, pietanze preparate in casa, personale cortese. La gentilezza della proprietaria, ultra ottenerne, è un valore aggiunto impagabile

14/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante in tre (due adulti e una bambina di 4 anni). Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti e tre primi, tra cui una semplice pappardella burro e parmigiano per nostra figlia, richiesta fuori menù. La serata è stata davvero piacevole: il cibo buono, il servizio cordiale e attento da parte delle ragazze in sala. Purtroppo, al momento del conto, siamo rimasti un po’ delusi nel vedere che la pasta per la bambina è stata fatta pagare a prezzo pieno, esattamente come i piatti più elaborati (pappardelle al cinghiale e paccheri al pesto di pistacchi e guanciale). In generale, esperienza positiva, ma attenzione a questi dettagli che possono far storcere il naso. Forse torneremo, ma senza figli. Totale 73€

30/04/2025: Auténtica comida italiana frecuentada por lugareños y turistas. Reservamos en línea para 7. 30 & fue cálidamente recibido y mostrado a nuestra mesa. Las rebanadas de algunos de los jamones más sabrosos pronto nos esperaban en la mesa, junto con algunos panecillos frescos. Tanto mi esposa y yo pedimos el lomo de ternera, patatas al horno y ensalada mixta como platos principales. La carne de res fue uno de los mejores filetes que hemos probado, la ensalada era excelente y las patatas cocinadas a la perfección. Ambos tenemos entonces el Tiramasu casero - que también era excepcional. Hay un hermoso bibes al lugar, el señor que parece al propietario / gerente fue atento y acogedor. Se siente como un restaurante familiar que tiene un enfoque real en la comida fresca casera y a precios razonables. No dudaría en ir de nuevo.

11/08/2025: This place was a dissappointment. The scrambled eggs were overdone, the toast ild bread with a drizzle of olive oil. My wife’s avocado eggs were floating on cream. Give it a miss.

26/06/2025: The dishes were also good, eh… shame about the staff, who seemed annoyed just by looking at us. Maybe our southern accent wasn’t appreciated, who knows. In any case, when I go out to eat I expect at least not to feel like I’m in the way. The welcome wasn’t exactly homely.

07/06/2025: Al Cason... completely renovated in recent years... change of management... you eat and spend like a trattoria, I went with friends because one of them, Davide Pomponio, that evening animated the place with live music where at a certain time we also danced, a beautiful evening.
