13/06/2025: Accueil agréable avec en plus la possibilité de parler en français. Merci encore. Le lieu en bord de route est dans le style montagnard et les plats sont corrects. Un resto qui dépanne à cette saison.

24/04/2025: Ci ha consigliato questo locale l’hotel dove alloggiavamo e non sbagliava! Carne ottima, cotta perfettamente nel forno a legna, buoni i contorni, come il vino, servizio puntuale e veloce, e per finire una torta paradisiaca (veramente) appena sfornata . Se siete a Cervinia non potete mancare questo locale, caldo e accogliente, come il personale. Prezzo assolutamente in linea con i prodotti ed il servizio. Meglio prenotare perché è piccolo, ma proprio per questo affascinante. Noi in realtà non avevamo prenotato, ma ci hanno dato lo stesso un tavolino alto con due sgabelli dove siamo stati bene. Si può cenare anche al banco.

09/12/2025: Upon entering the restaurant, we were informed that we couldn't order anything other than pizza. Then some locals came in and ordered something other than pizza—outrageous behavior toward a customer. After making an appointment with the waitress for "dessert later," she brought it much later than expected, even though she saw that no one had eaten yet, and she stood there doing nothing.

26/11/2025: Ordered three hot chocolates. Very runny, like the ones made in coffee machines. A chocolate drink, not the thick hot chocolate you'd expect. Considering the €6 a cup, they should at least be dark and...

15/12/2025: An elegant restaurant with a refined atmosphere in the center of Cervinia at absolutely reasonable prices. The polenta concia or Valdostana is truly delicious. Both versions are flavorful. The price is a bit higher for the wine.

25/01/2026: Such absurd rudeness, I was with my mother. She ordered chamomile tea while I ordered nothing. She arrogantly said "there are two of you," so what? Am I obligated to order? P.S. A cup of hot water shaken like this.

01/02/2026: As regulars at Michelin-starred restaurants, we always take the time to savor the refined local cuisine. Jose is exceptional here; the Italian cuisine has a Nordic influence. The appetizers are of good quality, though somewhat inconsistent. The main courses are also of varying quality, in my opinion. My favorite was the smoked reindeer steak, simply excellent. The gnocchi were also very tasty. We didn't have dessert this time but were treated to the final appetizers, which were truly excellent. In the end, the bill is consistent with the fact that this is an exceptional mountain restaurant. My deduction of a star is due to the fact that the quality of the dishes and appetizers wasn't necessarily Michelin-level.

31/01/2026: This was my third visit to this hotel. The hotel changed hands before the 2025/2026 ski season so disregard any reviews before then as sadly they are no longer relevant. This used to be an amazing hotel but it’s been completely ruined by the new corporate owners. I will give the staff the benefit of the doubt as I can only conclude they have never had any proper training. Nobody is capable of making a decision on anything - even a request as straightforward as booking a table for lunch is deflected with a comment such as “Sorry - the restaurant manager isn’t here!”. The rooms have always been compact but now they are cold.The spa operates on a booking system but even though we asked the receptionist to book it they had no record when we got there. At dinner we were presented with a wine list which was the size of an A4 sheet of paper with about 8 wines on it. When we queried it the waiter said I’ll bring you the list that’s reserved for friends and family and presented us with a regular extensive wine list. It was actually like something out of the British comedy Fawlty Towers but when you are paying premium prices unfortunately the joke is on you. I would echo the comments of previous reviews that when you call for the minibus to pick you up they don’t come and by the time you call back several times you may as well have trudged up the hill. The location of the hotel and the ski in / ski out is excellent but overall I would say it’s deeply disappointing and very sad how such a gem of a hotel can be ruined with the careless stewardship and poor decisions of the new owners. Avoid !

30/01/2026: I travel for ski holidays regularly, usually one or two trips every year. This time we came as a group of four friends who travel together often, and we all felt the same about this experience. We normally stay in high-quality ski resorts, so we know what should be expected at this level. During my stay at Hotel Principe delle Nevi, I paid 480 EUR per night (half-board) for a room classified as “standard”. I can say very clearly: I have never paid so much and received so little. The room is extremely small and very basic, with no sense of comfort that matches the price level. At this price point, it honestly feels more suitable for hotel staff accommodation than for paying guests on an expensive ski holiday. There is no real balcony and no view at all. The so-called outdoor area is simply a narrow, muddy path between buildings, with no privacy and nothing to enjoy. The bathroom is particularly problematic. The shower is approximately 60 x 90 cm, so small that you either hit your head against the wall or get stuck with your back against the glass behind you. From the moment I arrived, the bathroom ceiling light was not working. Instead of repairing it properly, a full-size standing floor lamp was placed inside the bathroom as a temporary solution. The ceiling light was only fixed on the last day of my stay. The restaurant experience was also disappointing overall. While the starters and desserts were generally good, the main courses were consistently underwhelming and not at the level expected for this type of hotel. Communication with the staff was mixed — some spoke English, others did not — but overall the service felt poorly managed and not professional enough. Reception service was another weak point. We asked whether it would be possible to receive a deduction for one evening, as we wanted to have dinner in town instead of using the half-board meal. We asked several times, but never received a clear answer or any follow-up. When we called reception for the hotel shuttle from town, nobody answered. In the end, we had to wake up a friend who was already at the hotel to go to reception in person, and it still took around 30 minutes before anyone came to pick us up. One real positive point, and honestly a small gem in this experience, was the bar and the people working there. The bar staff were professional, friendly, and provided good service throughout our stay. It was one of the few bright spots. Overall, the hotel feels like it is suffering from a serious operational and management failure. Basic maintenance, communication, and guest service were consistently below the level expected for the prices being charged. The management should take a hard look at how this property is being run. The ski-in/ski-out location is good, but location alone does not justify the overall experience. If you are planning to pay high prices for a ski holiday, I strongly recommend choosing a hotel that actually delivers good value. In my case, this was simply not the place.

04/03/2026: A charming restaurant on the ski slopes, a must-see for skiers and non-skiers alike! A typical Alpine atmosphere, with delicious and plentiful dishes, makes for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The staff is courteous and friendly. A sincere thank you to the host, a jovial and generous person! See you soon and thank you all for a wonderful day!

02/01/2026: Stayed for a week and as a 193 cm long man the beds are too small. My feet would dangle off the edge of the bed at my calves. On top of this the beds and pillows are incredibly hard and uncomfortable. The room overall looks nice but is a bit worn. The restaurant is not great when it comes to service 3/6 times they forgot our order, spent an average of 1.5 hours waiting for food, no form of compensation. Food is of good quality though and was included in our package (maybe this is why we were set aside/unprioritized) location is 10/10 right by ski lifts. Sauna/spa area is ok Update: Recieved a very nice pillow and regrets for our experience, i would like to emphasize that the staff have all been extremely friendly and accommodating

05/01/2026: Super friendly and welcoming. Excellent food made with farm produce. Simple, authentic, and reasonably priced. Away from the hustle and bustle of skiing.

20/07/2025: Baita molto carina, con una bellissima vista sulle montagne, ma scomoda da raggiungere per via di un tratto di strada sterrato dove pascolano le mucche (lasciando escrementi nel parcheggio). Cibo buono, ma prezzi elevati. Abbiamo preso una raclette per due, buona, ma ci aspettavamo delle porzioni più abbondanti per il prezzo pagato (27 euro a persona per quattro pezzetti di formaggio ciascuno accompagnati da verdure grigliate, pochi sottaceti e mocetta). Apprezzato il gesto di offrire l'amaro a fine pasto.

27/04/2025: Siamo stati nell'ultimo fine settimana della stagione invernale, a ridosso della chiusura degli impianti, infatti non tutto il menù era disponibile, tuttavia la qualità dei piatti disponibili è stata indubbiamente ottima. Personale molto accogliente e gentile, camera piccola, comunque confortevole, bagno grande e comodo con il doppio lavandino. Posizione strategica, panorama davvero incantevole a 360 grandi, vista sul Cervino mozzafiato. Decisamente consigliato.
