07/04/2025: Dopo 5 minuti dall'ordine sono arrivati 1 spaghetto ai frutti di mare con spaghetti precotti, salsa di pomodoro abbondantissima 10 cozze ed una cicala ed 1 capasanta, 2 porzioni di carne di alce riscaldata ( 38 euro a porzione) 2 calici di vino da 11 euro, se volete essere spennati è il posto giusto, p.s.abbiamo chiesto due caffè al vetro e sono arrivati due bicchieri con in fondo qualcosa di incommentabile

09/03/2025: My visit to Chalet Etoile in Cervinia was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm and friendly welcome set the tone for an exceptional evening. The staff was attentive, and the service was smooth and efficient. Drinks arrived promptly, followed by the antipasto – Tagliere Valdostana. The selection was excellent, with the standout being the mustard jam, which added a unique and delightful twist to the flavors. For the main course, I had ravioli with reindeer ragù, accompanied by berries. This dish was simply outstanding—one of the best meals I have ever tasted. The combination of rich, savory ragù with the subtle sweetness of the berries created a perfect balance of flavors. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and food quality exceeded all my expectations. A huge thank you for this wonderful experience—I can’t wait to return!.

19/04/2025: The pizzas generally were very nice, as was our starter and wine. However, the service wasn't particularly friendly by 3 members of staff nor attentive. They ordered the wrong pizza for me and did not offer to correct when I queried it, making me feel as though it was my mistake?! It felt a bit frantic overall and not a relaxing environment. However, the food was very nice, make sure you book though.

07/04/2025: Porzioni mastodontiche adatte per dopo una lunga sciata molta varietà di cibi locali e non cameriere molto preparato servizio impeccabile!!

16/08/2025: The food is truly excellent, and the service is prompt and attentive. Everyone, from the maître d' to the wait staff, is incredibly friendly and treated us wonderfully, even though I was sick and only ordered plain pasta for my second meal! It makes you feel right at home!

25/04/2025: Veniamo tutti gli anni in questo ristorante ma questa volta purtroppo non è stata un’esperienza positiva per i seguenti motivi: 1. Nonostante la prenotazione in largo anticipo ci riservano il peggior tavolo della sala sotto il bancone. Chiediamo di spostarci e fortunatamente era disponibile un tavolo migliore al piano inferiore. 2. Il filetto di fassona che ricordavo molto buono, questa volta era molto duro a tal punto da aver lasciato alcuni pezzi. 3. Abbiamo chiesto un aceto balsamico ma ci è stato risposto che era terminato e non l’avevano riassortito perché “era la chiusura della stagione😳” 4. Il menù dei dolci sulla lavagna riportava numerosi dolci non disponibili perché “era la chiusura della stagione”, bastava semplicemente cancellarli dalla lavagna. 5. Il conto mi è sembrato più alto rispetto agli altri anni e riporta 3 ERRORI di prezzo che sono stati fatti presente al cameriere. Personalmente credo che anche trattandosi di fine stagione debbano garantire standard di qualità medio-alti rapportati a un conto per niente basso.

13/04/2025: People rave about this place and I can see why, they have an extensive menu, we were a party of 4 and tried the fondue, the polenta, the pear and walnut pasta and the burger and everything was excellent and presented decorated with beautiful flowers, looked good and tasted good! Plenty of options for vegetarians, portion sizes are big as well so easy to share. Can also be reached on foot without having to ski down, but is quite a climb up hill on the road.

23/07/2025: Having stayed in a nearby apartment for years, we often went to this lovely, typical Aosta Valley restaurant in the evenings! Very friendly staff, excellent hot chocolate with cream, and a convenient newsstand stocked with everything! Highly recommended!

15/08/2025: Cool restaurant across from the chairlift. Extremely expensive for what it offers. The pasta, fettuccine they say is homemade, is completely tasteless. The burger is average, but €20 without even a side is absurd. The egg appetizer is very good. 2 pieces of vegetables €8. Avoid it.

18/06/2025: Centrally located. Free parking nearby. Unfortunately in mid-June the summer season has not yet started and therefore Cervinia is semi-deserted. Hotel needs maintenance. There is no air conditioning. Breakfast: good

15/06/2025: Nice location and courteous receptionist service. Breakfast needs to be completely revised and the room furnishings are mediocre despite the 4 stars

14/07/2025: A Cervinia per un weekend decidiamo di provare questo ristorante stellato; più che una cena è stato un viaggio all'interno di sapori differenti, dalla Svezia alla Val D'Aosta. Il menu (almeno in questo periodo) è fisso con due scelte : 4 portate o 6 portate, abbiamo optato per 4 portate; si inizia con una entrée della cucina molto particolare, poi si passa al salmone Neozelandese marinato, una scarola grigliata molto particolare poi piatto forte : la renna!! Tutto veramente ottimo, sapori e accostamenti molto particolari... Come chiusura un dolce, crema alla vaniglia (riduttivo la descrizione...) con frutti di bosco. Carta dei vini ovviamente di "livello", abbiamo optato per un rosso della Val d'Aosta. Servizio impeccabile, tutti i piatti spiegati molto bene, nulla da eccepire. Per chi vuole provare "un'esperienza" più che una semplice cena .... assolutamente da provare!!

28/04/2025: Durante il nostro soggiorno a Cervinia, io e la mia famiglia abbiamo pranzato al Wood , l’ultima tappa della nostra vacanza. Abbiamo deciso di provare il ristorante dopo aver guardato una puntata di Masterchef in cui la chef Eriksson ha presentato il suo piatto forte, la renna. Ovviamente l’abbiamo provata; siamo rimasti molto colpiti dalla cucina della chef che è caratterizzata da elementi di fusione che vanno dalla Svezia alla Valle d’Aosta e dalla Valle d’Aosta all’Oriente. Nel complesso è stata un’esperienza indimenticabile che consigliere molto volentieri a chiunque voglia fare un percorso gastronomico particolare.

18/04/2025: Just got back from a weeks holiday in Cervinia and although we were half board through our hotel we went for cocktails most evenings at this bar. Friendly Argentinian waiter who gave great service. Lovely drinks

15/03/2025: We went to the umbrella bar and after waiting for half an hour to try and be served we left and went elsewhere. There was only one person serving who favours the groups of guys who are sat around the bar and buying shots etc. If you haven't got a seat at the bar you stand no chance of getting served. Previous years the umbrella bar seemed one of the places to be for apres ski, this year it wasn't very busy at all which made it all the more frustrating that we didn't get served. Disappointing as we would have probably ended most days here if the service was better and it wasn't left for one person to work the bar at apres ski

20/08/2025: Poor value for money. You eat little and spend a lot, plus the meals are anything but typical.

19/08/2025: Nice and clean place, but the food wasn't great. We went for dinner; we were told there was a set menu, but there was no option to choose anything. Four courses were pre-determined, two of which were inedible and terrible. We left feeling really disappointed.

20/07/2025: Baita molto carina, con una bellissima vista sulle montagne, ma scomoda da raggiungere per via di un tratto di strada sterrato dove pascolano le mucche (lasciando escrementi nel parcheggio). Cibo buono, ma prezzi elevati. Abbiamo preso una raclette per due, buona, ma ci aspettavamo delle porzioni più abbondanti per il prezzo pagato (27 euro a persona per quattro pezzetti di formaggio ciascuno accompagnati da verdure grigliate, pochi sottaceti e mocetta). Apprezzato il gesto di offrire l'amaro a fine pasto.

27/04/2025: Siamo stati nell'ultimo fine settimana della stagione invernale, a ridosso della chiusura degli impianti, infatti non tutto il menù era disponibile, tuttavia la qualità dei piatti disponibili è stata indubbiamente ottima. Personale molto accogliente e gentile, camera piccola, comunque confortevole, bagno grande e comodo con il doppio lavandino. Posizione strategica, panorama davvero incantevole a 360 grandi, vista sul Cervino mozzafiato. Decisamente consigliato.
