10/06/2025: I give 1 star because you made me pay for a reduced cutting board for 1 person at the same price as the cutting board for 2 people. Some mistakes are not acceptable. Furthermore, there was not even a shadow of mixed cheeses: only one type of cheese and of mediocre quality. You don't see me anymore. You have lost a customer.

14/03/2025: Sono stato a cena con un amico in bassa stagione, spero possa servire come scusa per quello che dirò:
SERVIZIO: unico lato positivo del ristorante. Si salvano i ragazzi e la ragazza della sala, sempre gentili, disponibili e pronti ad aiutarti.
LOCATION: Ristorante arredato molto bene e stranamente spazioso per essere a Courmayeur.
MENÙ e CONTO: premetto che sono uno che spende anche tanto sul mangiare quando merita, qui i prezzi per i miei gusti erano sproporzionati per quello che ti veniva offerto: 29€ A PERSONA per un pentolino di fonduta (non di qualità a mio avviso) con un cestino di pane vecchio, uno di patate bollite e 12 pezzi (contati) di affettati. Polenta liquida e servita bollente, immangiabile per qualche minuto. Dolci molto buoni.

26/04/2025: Locale Molto pulito e accogliente. La sig. ra che ci ha servito, "Rosetta, forse la titolare", è molto cordiale ed accogliente. Abbiamo gustato, per ben due volte, un vero caffè, ottimo e con costi accessibili. La toilette e il locale ristorante sono tenuti bene ed sono molto puliti, cosa che è quasi impossibile trovare. E' solo un mio pensiero, ma in base a quello che ho nototo penso che si dovrebbe mangiare bene e a costi contenuti. Merita davvero.

17/06/2025: After finishing the tour de mont blanc we arrived to the Gran Baita. The staff were welcoming and friendly, they fed us delicious high class food and made exquisite cocktails. When I'm next in Courmayeur I would definitely swing by for a drink and a swim in the pool. The room was spacious and lovely also.
10/05/2025: We stayed here last weekend, very friendly staff, clean and well-kept rooms. The hotel is located in the center, near the main street of the town.
A pleasant discovery was the spa managed by Daniele Pellerino whose extreme professionalism I can confirm, I let myself be guided by him in the choice of massages: he proposed the Ayurvedic one!!

24/03/2025: Voici mon avis sur ce restaurant :
Mon expérience dans ce restaurant a été extrêmement décevante. Le repas était très désagréable, principalement en raison de l'attitude du propriétaire, qui s'est montré particulièrement désagréable et impoli. L'ambiance générale était très commerciale ; il était évident que son seul objectif était de gagner le plus d'argent possible, sans jamais se soucier du bien-être ou de la satisfaction des clients.
Je ne recommande absolument pas cet établissement et je n'y retournerai certainement pas.

21/04/2025: Where shall I start from? Toilets so smelly that I wanted to vomit ? Pizza which tasted like expired cheese with no texture ? Loud crowd with a horrible acoustic ? 15 minutes to pay? Guess enough...

Un pochetto delusa dall'aperitivo.
Abbiamo scelto questo posto dove andare a bere qualcosa, dopo aver dato un'occhiata alle recensioni e alle varie foto sul sito; proprio quest'ultime ci avevano convinto, dato l'abbondante (per un aperitivo) cibo che veniva servito con i drink.. peccato che così non è stato perché ci hanno portato solamente una ciotola di patatine e una di arachidi. Stop.
Premessa: è un giudizio PERSONALE, dato che io cerco sempre posti dove danno qualcosina in più da mangiare rispetto alle classiche patatine e noccioline; tolto questo, i drink sono molto buoni.

27/02/2025: We had a wonderful gourmet dinner celebrating the birthdays of our adult son and friend. The snow mobile ride up the mountain was exciting. The food and staff were exceptional. When the taxi service could not be reached to arrange for a pick up at the Valle Veny parking lot after the snow mobile ride back down the mountain, the staff arranged to get us back to our hotel in their van. The night was fun and delicious!

Ampia scelta e tutto di gran qualità.
Servizio ottimo e attento.
Ci siamo stati più volte provando piatti diversi e davvero tutto eccellente (forse solo la polenta valdostana non riprenderei, pur buona ma la preferisco di diversa consistenza) con alcuni piatti davvero top fra cui il risotto!
Salumi e formaggi buonissimi per iniziare e ampia scelta per proseguire con sempre novità fuori menù.
E pranzare o cenare con montagne di neve fresca a vista o con il sole estivo della Val Ferret è impagabile

Efficient staff. A very sad note was the food which in almost all the diners' courses arrived lukewarm or cold.
Dry and cold polenta. We took the tanning and the “discounting”. They were both cold and "untied. The dressing had the cheese that appeared like a giant, non-creamy lump. Difficult even to transfer to the plate because with the spoon you pulled out a single block. Inedible Aosta Valley steak. In fact, we took the tough, thick meat away for the dog. Not to mention the prices. Which for heaven's sake if you eat well you always pay willingly but if you eat like this you only get nervous.
Question but then the "egg" as a starter is €20? Unfortunately we were very disappointed

01/06/2025: Ristorante con piatti tipici valdostani. Non abbiamo prenotato, ma ci hanno fatto accomodare in un tavolo adeguato al numero di persone e non striminziti come può capitare da altre parti senza la prenotazione. Da migliorare un po' l'arredo, ma si può provare e riandare.

I would say beyond excessive, to be taken for a ride.
21/05/2025: Excellent lunch in a place where everything closed (Came on May). The price was excellent and the guy gave further 6 EU discount.

03/04/2025: Abbiamo provato i veri sapori della cucina valdostana. Una polenta col sugo della guancia di maiale stufata che era spaziale e la scaloppina valdostana altrettanto saporita . Inoltre le porzioni molto abbondanti e buon vino oltre che personale molto educato e gentile. Consiglio vivamente
22/03/2025: Una cena da dimenticare. Ci hanno fatto accomodare al piano superiore e subito siamo stati assaliti da un caos disarmante. Tavolata di ragazzini scalmanati che ne combinavano di ogni, abbiamo chiesto l’intervento dello staff ma a poco è valso. Non si riusciva a comunicare. Pizza molto carica ma buona. Insomma siamo dovuti scappare dalla disperazione e dal malditesta. Al momento di pagare abbiamo fatto notare il disagio ma a parte delle scuse striminzite neppure il buon gusto di offrire un caffè.

28/03/2025: Denna familjeägda krog är en fantastisk liten pärla som utöver sin restaurang har en färgstark bardel. Bara att kliva in där och ta del av modern konst som t ex Bob Marley, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen m fl. Hela lokalen är en fröjd för ögat. Varje liten detalj verkar vara noggrant placerad. Vi kikade dock bara in där straxt innan vi gick hem efter vårt restaurangbesök och baren var då stängd (men jag fick ta bilder/filma).
Restaurangen spelade skön musik -70/80-talsmusik (Fleetwodd Mac m fl) på lagom ljudnivå att man kunde samtala utan att skrika. Jag beställde potatisgnocci med valnöts- och ädelostsås som var krämigt och gott. Lite knaperstekt salsiccia hade gett dock extra sting åt maträtten. Mitt bordssällskap beställde torsk som var mör och fin med en krämig sås. Fint garnerat och upplagt. Extra glada blev vi över det smakfulla brödet samt grissini som oväntat serverades innan vår huvudrätt. En god olivolja ställdes även fram. Till detta serverades vi lika oväntat en minifiskrätt som var väldigt smakfull. Jag drack bordsvatten, mitt sällskap tog ett gott vitt vin som rekommenderades av servitrisen. Mycket vänlig, varm atmosfär och trevlig personal.
Här finns också en hotelldel med plats för straxt under femtio nattgäster. Jag är nyfiken på rummen som jag förväntar mig håller lika hög standard som restaurang och bar.

Villa Novecento turned out to be an excellent choice from every point of view, but what really made the difference was the impeccable service offered by the dining room staff. A special thanks goes to Natale and Adam, who with professionalism, courtesy and great attention to detail, made every meal an unforgettable experience.
Always smiling, available and attentive to every need, Natale and Adam best represent the hospitality of this splendid place. It is rare to find such careful and at the same time so human service: they made us feel truly pampered, like at home.
A round of applause also to the entire structure for the excellent organization, cleanliness and perfect location. We will definitely return – also (and above all!) to find the warm welcome of the dining room team.

23/03/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant and we had a really great time. Refined cuisine with excellent, quality raw materials. The dessert was out of this world. The guys who run it are young and enterprising, they add value to the area. It's a must-see!
