27/02/2024: Con un influsso orientale ma legate comunque al contesto geografico all'Armadillo si va per mangiare bene, piatti di alto livello come è il personale sia di sala che di cucina.
Una menzione speciale per la carta...sempre più ricercata e impostata su etichette di ricerca.
Si va via con un'esperienza da rifare.
Consigliatissimo.

05/03/2024: Avevo previsto un pranzo serio sulle piste di Courmayeur, allora consigliato dal mio maestro di snowboard ho deciso di mangiare in questo ristorante; infatti questa non è la solita baita mordi e fuggi , è un ristorante con calore e qualità alta del cibo, tipicamente valdostano.
Come antipasto ho preso il matzon, un tagliere con salumi locali incredibili come il bodin, la mocetta, lardo di Arnad e la coppa al ginepro, poi patata lessa e un crostino con burro e miele.
Come secondo ho ordinato uno strepitoso carré di cervo alle erbe di montagna con polenta e spinaci.
Prezzo onestissimo, consiglio la prenotazione. Il personale è gentilissimo!

08/01/2024: very good food, clean environment. exquisite dishes €135 well spent for New Year's Eve dinner, apart from the terrible service it's time to point out not because of the waiter nor because of the waitress with short hair, but because of the younger waitress with long hair, we don't have it ' I have with you, I simply say what I saw with my own eyes during that dinner. reception greets everyone except her, she brings us the dishes and serves them in the wrong direction, at each end of the course she cleared the plates with cutlery, she forgot twice to take away a cutlery, I ask for a drink of water it takes exactly 10 minutes for me to get it (I had the dish served in my mind) so I wanted to drink and taste the dish. I point out the mistake with the cutlery. She looks at me badly. this is my experience and I wanted to share it, I liked the environment and the food but not the service

12/01/2024: Cibo ottimo ...da padrone lo fa la carne... servizio impeccabile e sorridente che non guasta...i gestori davvero professionali ed umili che a parer mio è difficile trovare a Courmayeur!!! Straconsiglio!!!!

06/04/2024: Disappointing. On arrival:
- no help with getting our luggage inside the hotel, despite that unloading is difficult in front of the hotel as there is no parking.
- no interest by staff to welcome me and my son upon arrival or getting the luggage into our room.
- limited breakfast choices.
- the take-away breakfast bag, which we ordered for one day as we were heading early to Chamonix, consisted of lots of boxes of jam, but no bread roll or croissants.
- the worst skiing room that I have ever seen in a skiing resort. No facilities to heat your skiing boots.
- no information at reception about the skiing area.
- breakfast only served from 7.45am onwards
- no coffee or tea maker in the room, no water or fridge.
- advised to park for 10 Euro per night in a parking space quite far away from the hotel. (PS. Apart from Friday, there is free street parking available in the parallel street above the hotel.)
The big plus point about this hotel is its location. Central and only about a ten minutes walk to the skiing lift. Overall, an overpriced hotel for what they offer.
15/02/2024: Great service, great food (Salmon / salad/ veal escalope/ chocolate cake and some nice red wine), good atmosphere - definite recommend

Formaggio, un po' di moccetta e quattro patate lesse è da chiamare la guardia di finanza. Personale gentilissimo, ma il gioco non vale la candela
19/01/2024: Abbiamo mangiato due pizze una porzione di frutta, una birra rossa da 33 ,una bottiglia di acqua e un caffè.
Le pizze non buone, di napoletano non avevano alcun che, peraltro con prezzi davvero esagerati, al limite dello scandaloso.
Il servizio eccellente con personale a modo e garbato.

24/02/2024: Consigliatissimo, personale gentile e disponibile, ottima offerta dei prodotti a prezzi onestissimi, qualità di alto livello e atmosfera caratteristica. E' tra i tanti locali che chiudono presto uno dei pochi aperto fino a tardi. Tappa obbligata a Courmayeur dalla colazione al dopocena.

Furthermore, poor choice of gin, many were finished.
Kind to offer a small aperitif, which was indicated on the menu at a price of 5 euros.
20/08/2023: Two Aperols brought with a cup of San Carlo crisps, one of polenta crackers and one of peanuts 20 euros.
Table not clean, rough service.
It's a shame because the location is great. First and last time

Very kind and knowledgeable staff, excellent rooms at least mine, dinner with both fish and Aosta Valley menus, all excellent, good choice of wines. Excellent and super abundant breakfast
23/03/2024: We had dinner one evening with friends who had enjoyed the hotel.
The meal was excellent with sophisticated dishes and it is the best restaurant among those tested in Courmayeur.
A great discovery with attentive service and a reasonable price.

22/03/2024: Top marks for a structure that has everything you need to spend a fantastic weekend in Courmayeur, directly at the foot of Mont Blanc and adjacent to the Skyway.
The rooms have the names of mountain refuges and are very warm and well furnished. Ours had a hot tub, a real gem.
The restaurant has a few-course menu, and everything we tasted was delicious; among other things, a special mention for the beef tartare, embellished with a truly unusual and particular chestnut crumble.
And after having eaten divinely, what could be better than going to end the evening in the exclusive disco club on the ground floor, where excellent cocktails expertly made by the talented barmen and beautiful people reign supreme.
In conclusion we can say that the Shatush offers everything you need for a top stay in such an exclusive location as Courmayeur and this is also and above all thanks to the professionalism of all the staff who manage the structure.
