15/08/2024: We stayed five days in the week of August, with our dog, and it was an ideal experience. Excellent welcome, as well as the kindness of the staff, always available. Plus points also derive from the care taken in the food: we took advantage of the half board service and had a great time. The location is strategic and quiet: the silence and the view of Mont Blanc accompanied our evenings. Recommended for all those who prefer a holiday dedicated to relaxation and good food.

29/07/2024: 10-day stay with half board: a cold reception in particular due to the lack of explanations on the organization of the hotel and the attractions of the place. It is very important to explicitly request a room with a non-tilting window and not on the top floor when booking, to avoid a suffocating heat, and not on the street side, as it is quite noisy... Nice furnishings, large bathroom but without a window with a practically non-existent fan! Cleanliness was good, but something was always missing every day. The catering was excellent. The beautiful garden with swimming pool and wellness center in which the manager and technical sports director Daniele Pellerino stood out for his skill and professionalism, who very kindly helps customers to regain psycho-physical well-being.

29/07/2024: The overall experience at the so called 4 star hotel was subpar and disappointing despite of their beautiful hotel buildings and spa facilities. To summarize - pros: 1. beautiful architecture of the building and breath taking views surrounding 2. The staffs at the reception were very kind and accommodating 3. The pool and sauna are pretty well maintained with clean water and perfect temperature. Love their sauna with amazing view of mountain - cons: 1. Except the staffs at the reception, the rest of their employees seem somewhat miserable with their job 2. No WiFi was available during our stay 3. No AC so if you have low threshold to hot weather, it will not be pleasant to be in the room. You could open the window but the hotel is located right next busy street and highway which is pretty noise with window open. If I have a chance of visiting Courmayeur again, we most likely won’t come back to this hotel because we rather stay at the place we feel welcomed and comfortable.

25/08/2024: Food was ok. It's very light on the vegetarian options. We had a fish which was fine and a veggie patty which had no flavor at all. It seems to be very focused on the instagrammable medieval meat ball, which is, obviously, not an option for everybody.

11/08/2024: A good address in the center of Courmayeur, but a little expensive compared to the dishes offered. That’s also Courmayeur, we pay for the location!

06/08/2024: A fake Aosta Valley, with poor quality ham and not fontina but thin slices, a miserable fondue at a very high price with tasteless ratatouille, I add that I was served excellent fontina in another place in the area and the difference, despite the restaurateur's response, was visible and felt. . I notice other comments on the same line as me now. Too bad I didn't read them sooner. It takes a little while paying a lot to satisfy the customer.

26/08/2024: Mi dispiace fare una recensione negativa dopo aver letto recensioni molto positive ma purtroppo a noi è capitato di andare a cena in una serata no..... appena arrivati ci hanno mostrato il tavolo si è subito capito che era stato allestito un tavolo di appoggio perché il locale era pieno, un tavolo posto alla fine della sale dove io guardavo il muro come fossi in castigo., il mio compagno seduto lato cucina che quando passavano i camerieri facevano aria bastava semplicemente dire al momento della prenotazione: Scusate stasera siamo al completo da domani sera siete i benvenuti....abbiamo iniziato la nostra cena romantica confidenti che sarebbe andato tutto bene invece non siamo riusciti neanche a parlare dal rumore provocato da bambini e da genitori maleducati che con i bambini andavano a suonare le campane appese vicino al muro del nostro tavolo, sul cibo e sul vino non possiamo dire nulla mangiato e bevuto molto bene, peccato che tutti questi episodi hanno rovinato la nostra cena, non mi sento di consigliarlo per chi cerca tranquillità...

25/08/2024: Ristorante tipico valdostano a pochi passi dalla val Ferret, piatti buonissimi e porzioni abbondanti. Consiglio il loro carpaccio con la crema di nocciole! Prezzi assolutamente in linea.

11/08/2024: Terrible food, I spent €46 for a plated hamburger and a bottle of wine that I wouldn't even use to cook at home, arrogant, rude owner. I advise all of you not to frequent that place.

05/08/2024: Please note, the prices indicated outside the restaurant are for takeaway only. When you sit down at the table, the prices are doubled, a steal.

20/08/2024: STOP HERE AND EAT EVERYTHING. We got a fried semolina and apple cake and they were absolutely heavenly. So sad we were so full from lunch and just passing through. I could have eaten my weight here if we stayed in Courmeyeur. Complimenti!

18/08/2024: In the price delirium of Courmayeur, a place with honest prices and excellent food. If you don't feel like cooking you can still take away two or three things for ten euros and that's it. Atomic apple cakes

27/02/2024: Con un influsso orientale ma legate comunque al contesto geografico all'Armadillo si va per mangiare bene, piatti di alto livello come è il personale sia di sala che di cucina. Una menzione speciale per la carta...sempre più ricercata e impostata su etichette di ricerca. Si va via con un'esperienza da rifare. Consigliatissimo.

15/04/2024: Had a great lunch in this cozy spot... Fois Gras, oysters,... A bit of a change from the other places in terms of menu. Place warm and cozy even if a bit chaotic. Would gladly recommend.

30/03/2024: Better than ever. We were 5 persons sharing three absolute delicious starters, then formidable deer and black angus sirloin. Loud, cheerful, charming, great service, really caring for the guests, quality in everything.

07/02/2024: Semplicemente eccezionale!! Locale meraviglioso, arredato con estrema cura fin nei più piccoli oggetti. La proprietaria gentilissima e competente suggerisce e spiega i piatti tipici che si rivelano assolutamente perfetti. Porzioni generose ed indubbia qualità dei cibi. Complimenti allo Chef! Ristorante da 10e lode che sicuramente torneremo a visitare. Consigliatissimo
