20/10/2025: A little gem hidden in the woods. Perfect if you want to eat outdoors, under towering trees, with the birds singing. Excellent beer, huge sandwiches, and delicious meat. But the real difference is the staff: professional, fast, and always smiling!

25/01/2026: If you have over an hour to wait for your food, then Derby is the place for you. The service is at least trying, but the kitchen is extremely slow.

27/01/2026: We arrived on foot in the snow after a trek. A very welcoming and warm place. We sat in a room with a beautiful stube. We ordered a Pan of Pasta for two, which served three of us very generously. The service was friendly, the beer was excellent, and the price was reasonable. We left very happy and ready to go again! What can I say? We'll definitely be back!

21/02/2026: I visited this restaurant in December 2025 with rather high expectations, especially given the refined and selective image the establishment seems to project. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what was implicitly promised. The setting appears sophisticated, but upon closer inspection, a pervasive sense of artificiality emerges: the elegance appears constructed, almost ostentatious, while the finishes and materials are surprisingly ordinary, in stark contrast to the "niche" positioning the establishment claims to have. The welcome was decidedly unpleasant. The waiter who greeted us immediately appeared prejudiced, with a stiff and unfriendly attitude. Throughout the evening, he remained rude, haughty, and unwilling to listen. On several occasions, he demonstrated a lack of attention to requests and, even more seriously, a lack of transparency in his responses. One incident in particular negatively affected the dinner: we were offered tagliolini with white truffle, which was not on the menu. After repeatedly asking for confirmation of the pasta shape—several times, with extreme clarity—we were served tagliatelle instead. A detail that may seem minor, but in a restaurant that aspires to stand out for its precision and quality, it becomes emblematic of sloppy management and disrespect for the customer. The cuisine, overall, was adequate but lacking in flair: decent dishes, without any particular flaws, but also without anything that warrants enthusiasm or lasting memory. Everything was decidedly average. The bill, however, was anything but average: high compared to what was actually served, and difficult to justify given the overall experience. In short, a restaurant that aspires to a level that, at least from what we experienced, it fails to even begin to sustain. Inadequate service, questionable hospitality, and cuisine that doesn't make up for its shortcomings. A disappointing experience, made even more unpleasant by the attitude of the wait staff, which was decidedly out of place. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it.

30/01/2026: I was in Vipiteno to visit the Christmas markets and had lunch at this renowned restaurant located in the historic center, very close to the Torre delle Dodici. It has a wine shop with many Alto Adige wines. The cuisine is very traditional and refined (with the freshest ingredients). Rating: excellent (the best I can give). Fantastic culinary experience...

17/02/2026: On Saturday, February 14, I entered this pastry shop at 5:59 PM sharp to buy two krapfen to go. The clerk was already preparing them when someone who appeared to be the owner intervened: first he said something to her in German, then turned to me, saying that the shop was closed, that they had already closed the register and that they could no longer sell me anything. Too bad that a customer at the next register was still paying. So I'd call the owner RUDE, A LIAR, and probably also a terrible business owner, given that the counter was still full of products and there was no sign of an imminent closure, so much so that the door was open. I left without a fuss and, shortly after, I saw the same owner pass by me with a tray full of krapfen. Truly ridiculous and unprofessional. They should learn to close the door. I won't be returning.

20/01/2026: A wonderful cafe. Brilliant pastries, cakes, bread and more. Coffee was very nice and prices are very fair. One of the best cafes in South Tyrol!

29/01/2026: Even though we booked directly through the hotel, and received an email we would have free slides we still have to pay for them, because the hotel didn't provide us the voucher we had to have. Kids menu is unfortunately something I wouldn't recommend. Pasta bolognese with just one spoon of sauce. We did ask for more, and got it, but if we haven't it would be just a bit of colored pasta. Nuggets and croquettes were burned and inedible. Such a shame.

27/12/2025: We went there for dinner on Christmas Day evening. I reserved a table on a whim from Germany, and we weren't disappointed; the food was delicious. We'd love to come back.
