14/03/2026: The chief service and food was great , basically a fiorentine steak in Trentino region! It is a bit pricy compared to the Tuscan region but nevertheless I would highly recommend this place and the wonderful owner !

06/03/2026: The food was okay. We had two appetizers and salad from the buffet. However, we were charged for three times because we used three plates. Each of us had a salad plate, and we shared a small portion of the appetizer on one of the smaller plates. Nowhere did it say that we would be charged per plate. When we pointed this out at the checkout, the manager became very unfriendly and completely uncooperative, so we decided to pay the extra €10. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

02/03/2026: Poor: Average food, not bad, but nothing tasty or truly authentic. Very noisy place. So-so service: by Wednesday night, they had already sold out of several dishes and/or ingredients. I wouldn't go back.

14/03/2026: The Hotel Restaurant Schaurhof was recommended to us by Snowtrex when we were looking for accommodation for a week's ski holiday with vegan options at the beginning of the year. The price-performance ratio and the ski area appealed to us, so we booked it. Our room was very clean; the bathroom bin could have been emptied daily, but otherwise everything was excellent. Our room on the first floor was a bit dark, but that wasn't a problem. Everyone who worked here was exceptionally friendly and helpful, whether it was the waitstaff at mealtimes, the owner when we ordered dinner, or whoever was at reception. Quality is clearly a priority here, and it shows. Now for my personal highlight: the food. Finding vegan options on holiday is often difficult, and I had my doubts about half-board. But the breakfast was more than sufficient for me. It included bread, rolls, spreads, hummus, muesli, and plant-based milk. Dinner was like a fine dining experience, either already vegan or adapted by the owner, so we had three vegan courses every evening. We had confirmed beforehand via email that this had been noted during booking, and everything was as expected. The food was almost always excellent, very thoughtful, and not at all run-of-the-mill. Our only suggestion for improvement: When booking half-board, you mark your preferred dinner option at breakfast. It would be very helpful if the list included ingredients or a label like "v" for vegetarian and "ve" for vegan, or something similar, and would save some time and potential questions. However, since meals were often specially adapted for us, there's really nothing to complain about. We would and will wholeheartedly recommend the entire combination of accommodation, food, and the Rosskopf Hotel to everyone. Thank you so much for everything!

06/01/2026: We had a truly wonderful time staying at Gasthof Kohlern. The fresh, high-quality (often locally-sourced) food and the hospitality were our favorite parts. The waitstaff showed upmost professionalism but also a relaxed kindness that made us feel really at home. We hope to come back!

20/12/2025: I left a €50 deposit and had to cancel after 10 minutes due to an error. I called and asked if I could reverse the transaction, and they told me that to get the deposit back, I only had to take €20 because they were keeping €30 for the refund. This doesn't seem normal to me; I've never heard of anything like it.

06/03/2026: I went there with a small group of friends (all "grown-up" adults), good pizza, small desserts, but what really left a bad taste in my mouth was the service: Do they close at 10:30 PM? Fine, but by 9:45 PM our table was completely cleared, even of bottles that still had water. At 10:00 PM, poof! The lights in the small room where we were alone went out for a few seconds. We asked for a bottle of mineral water and the waiter gave it to us, pointing out that he was going home at 10:30 PM anyway... Okay, we get it... But the climax came at 10:20 PM when the lights in the small room (just ours) were completely turned off. We realized, we HAD to leave! We paid and bye. I'd never experienced anything like this before. Will I come back? Will we come back? But no way! That's not how you treat customers!

15/03/2026: The place is very nice and typical, near Pinzolo, 15 km from Madonna di Campiglio, and offers many different pizzas. The place is clean, the service is very attentive and fast, and the pizza is even available at lunchtime. I highly recommend Panuozzi.

27/02/2026: We were there today and were unfortunately very disappointed. It started with a dirty table not being wiped down, which should be standard practice in any restaurant. The menus we received were covered in crumbs, grease stains, and other grime on the sides. The food was moderately disappointing. Other restaurants in the ski area offer significantly better value for money in terms of both taste and portion size. The plate of fried potatoes was two-thirds empty, and you could count the potatoes. You don't expect Michelin-starred cuisine on the slopes, but we were still disappointed overall. The service was a bit rushed and took our plates away while we were still chewing. Otherwise, it was okay. Prices are naturally a bit higher in a tourist area. But you get more for less on the mountain, where logistics are even more challenging. Therefore, I don't recommend this restaurant and suggest other restaurants on the mountain, although even there, some mountain huts exploit tourism. This restaurant can rest on its laurels, being ideally located in a tourist area right on the ski slopes, and is guaranteed customers regardless. With that volume, it doesn't matter whether each individual customer was satisfied and returns.

22/02/2026: We stayed there for several days and would like to clarify our review as follows: Pizza: Great, but some pretty wild variations. Fries? They weren't that great. Spaghetti Carbonara: Twice excellent, once so-so, as the bacon was soggy with sauce. No cream sauce – excellent, good ham, possibly a pre-made sauce – but good nonetheless. Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms – was a bit bland. Jagatee (a type of herbal tea): Better than at K-1. What was unfortunately very difficult: service and friendliness.

13/04/2026: We found it on Google Maps because we wanted to have dinner on Monday, April 13th. The menu listed pasta and dinner dishes, but when we arrived, the waitress said it was a bar and didn't have a menu with main courses, only snacks. We found it a bit confusing; we don't know if it had changed recently, but since we wanted to have dinner, we thanked them and left.

16/03/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch, and everything was fine. Good food and average service. Two covers, two Dolomiti platters, and two glasses of wine: €68

02/03/2026: A dear friend introduced me to this hotel for lunch. The place is meticulously maintained; the owner, Claudio, is incredibly kind. The waitresses are attentive and extremely kind. The dishes are refined and made with excellent ingredients. In short, quality, cleanliness, and a fantastic location. Dining with a view of Cimon della Pala is certainly a memorable experience. I really hope to return soon. My warmest congratulations!

13/09/2025: Super cute little hut. There are only a few spots inside, but there are additional heated/covered spots in a sort of pavilion, and plenty of spots on the terrace, which has plenty of sunny spots. Highly recommended are the pasta in sage butter with poppy seeds and Parmesan, as well as the dumpling trio.

23/08/2025: A little-publicized hut we found on the way down to Plan after visiting Passo Sella. Simple and tasty food, very friendly staff, fair prices. Everything was delicious, especially the buckwheat cake, which we absolutely loved.
