08/11/2025: Incredibly friendly people. It was a spontaneous stop; I initially thought it was closed. But since an older gentleman went in before me, I didn't turn around but went in. The terrace is really nicely decorated. In the morning, I'd even say it was sunny ☀️. I only had a drink, so I don't know what the food is like.

14/09/2025: I've been to the Sesselschwaige a few times this year, which was newly managed this year. Why a few times?
Because the staff is very friendly and attentive to their guests. The food was excellent, I can only recommend it. The cakes are also very delicious.
The prices are a bit higher compared to other huts, but considering that the food is regularly airlifted up, I think the prices are really justified. 👍🏻
I can only recommend it. 😊

26/07/2025: Sono capitata in questo ristorante per puro caso a pranzo e sono rimasta entusiasta!! Non avevamo prenotato e in 5 minuti, nonostante la confusione di persone che aspettava, ci hanno fatto accomodare. Il personale è molto cordiale e professionale. È tutto veramente molto buono, anzi ottimo!! Non perdetevi lo stinco, gli spatzle e uova/patate/speck: favolosi!! I piatti sono molto generosi!! Consigliatissimo!!

05/01/2026: A few dishes, but well-prepared, with a friendly waitress and a professional and welcoming manager. Excellent platter, delicate polenta gnocchi, and a very tender and flavorful venison stew. The Mochena braid is amazing! Super-fast service.
A huge play area for kids, and right above it, an exceptional view.

12/02/2026: For my lunch break at the office, I ordered some vegetables. They arrived very quickly, hot and delicious, accompanied by some slices of their warm, fragrant homemade bread.
A very positive experience.
I'll try eating there soon.
12/01/2026: Terrible. It's happened more than once that I've ordered pizza and it doesn't arrive on time, and sometimes the order doesn't ship, and if it arrives, it's cold.
I don't recommend it.
They used to deliver pizza very punctually, and it even arrived hot.
It's a shame because the pizza is good, but the service is terrible.

A waiter who's been assigned the wrong job, rude and aggressive!
Everything that shouldn't happen in a restaurant.
We went for lunch, but after the initial rude approach, we tried again, but in the end, after another argument, we were forced to leave.
Obviously, the owners are also in trouble; keeping someone like that in the restaurant is madness!
25/02/2026: The waiters clearly ignore foreigners; serving Italians is prioritized, from table selection through ordering and service. The food is okay.

Absolutely loved this place! Perfect for the whole family — kids are entertained with amazing indoor and outdoor games, while adults can enjoy billiards, bowling, and more. The pizzas are heavenly, the service is warm and super fast, and the prices are fantastic. A must-visit for families!
12/03/2026: For a sports complex, this is a very good location, with perfect pizza, good wine, and excellent service. The price-performance ratio is perfect. In short, a sports park with good food and service.

29/09/2025: A sunny outdoor spot. The food is simple but delicious. Reasonable prices. If the weather is good, a magnificent view. It's a 30-minute walk from the parking lot to the snack bar. Accessible with a stroller.

14/03/2026: We asked about vegan options and were immediately assured that it was no problem: spaghetti aglio e olio, spaghetti with tomato sauce, salad, and fries. The pasta was excellent, as were the fries, and the portions were very generous. I like to eat a lot and was definitely satisfied by the portion. Highly recommended! #vegan
04/03/2026: I can only write about the restaurant, not the hotel. Nice sunny terrace, good view, fully acceptable but not exceptional food. Sterzingerhaus is open throughout the year and is close to the top cable car station. It's a convenient place to have a snack after a hike or skiing.
