13/12/2025: The atmosphere is somewhat dated. As is the presentation of the dishes. The cooked carne salada tastes like my grandmother's slices... even in the presentation. The porcini mushroom dish... few and expensive. The desserts are good.

12/11/2025: The food is absolutely delicious! I went once for lunch (pumpkin soup) and once for dinner (Pizza Katalin & apple strudel), and both times it was excellent. The selection of pizzas is very large, with something for everyone. The portion sizes and prices are perfectly reasonable, offering excellent value for money. I didn't have a reservation either time. In the evening, I arrived around 7:30 pm and was seated after a minimal wait of about 5 minutes. At lunchtime, around 2 pm, I was lucky and found the only free table. So, I would generally recommend making a reservation, especially during peak hours. The ambiance is lovely. The high, curved ceilings, the old wood paneling, and the open layout of the pizzeria create a spacious and inviting atmosphere. However, the large, open design also means it can get noisy quickly once there are more guests. The outdoor area is furnished with tables and benches and features soft music; thanks to the neighboring houses and screening hedges, it's very quiet and beautifully situated. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating, fulfilling every extra request, and I was even recognized on my second visit.

12/11/2025: What I appreciated most about this place was the atmosphere: typical South Tyrolean fare, without too many frills, and still retaining its authenticity. The pizza and dough were good, and the staff were very welcoming.

16/10/2025: A beautifully located restaurant with a fantastic view. We were there just before the end of the season, so a lot of it was sold out. That wasn't a problem per se. The food didn't really impress us either. The Schlutzkrapfen (scraps) were very greasy, and the shepherd's pasta was heavy with tomato sauce and not particularly cheese-oriented. The service was nice.

14/10/2025: We arrived two hours before closing time, and all we had was chicken fillet and grilled vegetables. Without telling us how much it was, they charged us €30 per person for one dish, even though all the other dishes were between €15 and €25. It was also too salty. Not again!! The conditions were very friendly, though.

20/10/2025: Excellent hotel. Warm and welcoming rooms. Very clean. Delightful spa. Excellent breakfast and dinner, with a good à la carte selection. Friendly staff, very accommodating to guests' requests. Stunning view of Fiera di Primiero and the Pale di San Martino. A holiday to definitely repeat.

10/10/2025: My wife and I spent 10 truly relaxing days in August. The hotel is surrounded by greenery in a quiet area, yet a 15-minute walk takes you to the center of Fiera di Primiero. The room we were assigned was spacious and super clean. The restaurant was exceptional, with attentive, professional service. Breakfast was complete, with everything from savory to sweet, including a gluten-free corner and fresh fruit. You could have breakfast inside or outside, overlooking the green valley. A huge thank you to the Scalet family: Michela and Pietro, the restaurant staff, and the lady in charge of breakfast. You made our vacation a blast.

29/10/2025: We stayed one night and I wouldn't recommend it. The room we booked was cold. We asked for the heating to be turned on, but after half an hour, only the bathroom heating worked, not the room heating. We called and were told to wait (even though it was clearly broken, since the other heating worked). Furthermore, the bidet wouldn't flush. At the end of the day, they told us the heating was broken and they would change our room. When we arrived, we found it COLD, too! Embarrassing... and on top of that, we didn't receive a real apology, just a simple "let's turn the heating on now"... Poor service and rude staff. Given the price this hotel charges for one night, I expected at least a more comfortable room and more courtesy.

03/10/2025: For this year's autumn bike tour, we decided to book our hotel as a fixed-priced option for the first time. We wanted a modern, alpine-style hotel in a quiet location as the starting point for our tours. And what can I say? Of all the accommodations we've stayed in the same category on our previous tours, this one is by far the most beautiful, comfortable, friendly, and relaxing. It starts with the welcome at reception, the amazement upon entering the suite, the very friendly service staff (whether reception, waitresses, or room attendants), the delicious dinner (who wouldn't get full after four courses?), an exciting wine tasting, the bike parking, the pool... The list goes on. And the host also took the time for wonderfully entertaining conversations with us. Every day was a delight. Our bodies were active during the day, we were able to marvel at the magnificent nature, and in the afternoon we were able to relax and unwind – both together are balm for the soul. Until next time, Mr. Brunner, you have won us as a regular guest 😃.

02/11/2025: I cannot say enough good things about this family run hotel. We were kindly greeted and shown to our room. You can tell the rooms are well kept and recently remodeled. The day we arrived was disappointing due to poor weather but the sunrise over the lake got me out of bed immediately. From our room's balcony we took in breathtaking views before heading downstairs to enjoy a complimentary breakfast with a vast selection of food options including fresh eggs prepared in the kitchen. While at breakfast, the host proposed a few alterations to our hiking plan to enhance the experience. I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again in the future. Great staff, great amenities, great location, and great views.

02/11/2025: The place is truly beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming. The food is also good, the potato tortel in particular was well-made—but the price is absolutely not fair. Furthermore, we weren't given a menu upon arrival, nor did the waiter tell us the price of the potato tortel. So we went in a bit "blind," and that's fine; once you're seated, you don't get up and leave... but it would have been nice to know. The dessert, at €7, also didn't convince me: nothing exceptional, in fact, I'd say it was rather bland for that price. In short: a nice place, friendly service, and good food, but the quality-price ratio isn't up to par. Considering that a ten-minute drive will take you to Fai, where you can spend €18 per person and eat the same way, here you're probably paying more for the ambiance than the food itself.

06/11/2025: The food was delicious; I loved the dish pictured and was completely satisfied, as was the appetizer (octopus carpaccio). The only flaw is the rushed waiters; as other people have written, it almost seems like they're trying to clear the table as quickly as possible, even when there are only a few people in the restaurant. I'd recommend letting customers breathe a little more (with some limitations, of course). Aside from that, if you're in Riva and don't know where to eat, I highly recommend this restaurant.

11/10/2025: A wonderful, comfortable atmosphere, with first-class and very attentive service. Here, you pay €3 per person for a cover charge. The accompaniment from the kitchen was very tasty and lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, the main course was very disappointing. The dumplings were bland by South Tyrolean standards, and the chanterelle mushrooms were unfortunately too salty. But I would still come back, as everything else was really good, and try a different dish.

19/08/2025: I called to order pizzas and they said, "No, we don't do this service." How is it possible you can't order and then come pick up your order? Not to mention the rudeness in the response... never again.

13/12/2025: We stopped for a lunch break while skiing. The sandwiches were very good, with just the right amount of filling (unlike other places). The staff was friendly and the preparation was quick.

06/11/2025: Beautiful place, even though it's practically underground! Professional and attentive staff! The only flaw is... the food, apart from the fact that I was disappointed, the quality is too much for that price. You pay a lot and eat badly. I ordered the meat platter and the schlutzkrapfen. The quantity was below average, and the quality, let's say, isn't excellent. It's a shame because the location is very nice and welcoming.

10/08/2025: I was looking for a different hotel Santer but look at that, you guys are a wonderful resort for wellness and holidays. Great pictures often say more than a thousand words, but we also need words that are well-disposed and vibrate high to maintain our heart level without being dependent on them. It brightens up the day and multiplies itself here on this platform worldwide anyway. I wish you a wonderful summer. It's nice that I already have you here on my phone. Yes, it is recommendable, no question.

07/08/2025: 1. A request for a one-week stay for two people, including accessibility by car, for January 26 was already made in May 25! 2. I was told to call again in August 25. By then, they had assessed the needs of regular guests and might be able to offer something. There was no response regarding accessibility. After repeated inquiries, the information was received. 3. The second request was then made in August 25. 4. A room was offered without any consideration of needs, with a reference to moving to a room – a single room… There are two of us. CONCLUSION: This kind of behavior is fundamentally inappropriate for a service-oriented establishment that sees itself as a host. And this in South Tyrol. Unbelievable but true! No thanks! Fortunately, South Tyrol has much, much better to offer.

15/11/2025: Finally, a modern setting with individual seating around the attractive horseshoe-shaped bar. Lighting, ambiance, music, and a young, friendly staff. The food is modern, but without overdoing it with elaborate dishes.

09/11/2025: Well-maintained venue, very knowledgeable staff Waiting for out-of-this-world food was about an hour and a half after ordering.

19/10/2025: I went during a work lunch break. Lunch-break atmosphere and off you go. Quick service, full business menu for €17, slightly higher than average. The food was quite good and in a short time.

12/10/2025: Business lunch for 17 euros, very good, authentic and seasonal dishes, courteous and helpful staff, no complaints
