01/03/2026: I happened upon this restaurant by chance on a quiet Friday in late February. I chose it among the many in the area because I was intrigued (and almost convinced) by the reviews.
I was particularly won over by the positive comments from those who, even though they're not vegan, praised the quality of the dishes and desserts.
So I decided to give it a try (also because the photos were mouth-watering), and, what can I say, it was a fantastic experience!
I spent the entire time praising the dishes, from the presentation to the flavor, from the texture to the success.
And the desserts? What can I say, they were amazing! I tried a cheesecake, which was fantastic. If they hadn't told me it was vegan, I never would have guessed it.
It's just a shame I live two hours away from this restaurant; otherwise, it would become a regular stop, at least once a month.
In any case, it'll be a great excuse to take more vacation trips there, so I can return to try the dishes, and desserts, I missed.
Highly recommended!
04/02/2026: Very good vegan restaurant. My better half and I went and tried several different dishes and everything was excellent. All praise. And to top it off, it was all relatively cheap.

05/10/2025: Borgo Sant’Ambrogio is simply beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to create the sense of comfort and ease which oozes from the beautiful spaces throughout the property. This is a very special place.

07/07/2025: Nous étions en famille. Nous avons commandé 2 bruschetta (pour presque 12€ l'unité) et des boissons. On nous a apporté des tranches de pain blanc épais avec un minimum d'ingrédients dessus (j'imagine pour aller à l'économie) et sans aucune saveur. Même pas pris le soin d'assaisonner un minimum les tomates. On retrouvait des vagues traces de mozzarella. En Bref, une volonté à peine dissimulée de faire payer les touristes sans s'inquiéter de ce qu'on leur sert. Manque de respect du client. Passez votre chemin.

06/05/2025: Un'esperienza culinaria autentica, dove la passione per la cucina si traduce in piatti preparati con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità, spesso provenienti da produttori locali. Nonostante l'eccellenza delle materie prime e la cura nella preparazione, i prezzi rimangono accessibili, offrendo un rapporto qualità-prezzo davvero notevole.
Noi abbiamo ordinato e speso: una bottiglia di vino 10€, un litro di acqua 2€, 2 antipasti 22€, 2 primi 25€, 2 dolci 12€ e 2 coperti 5€, per un totale di 76€. Assolutamente consigliato!
27/04/2025: Struttura molto bella e ben tenuta, materie prime utilizzate di ottima qualità. Purtroppo la pecca è che mi hanno portato una fiorentina immersa nel sangue (l'ho chiesta al sangue ma non cruda) servizio purtroppo non all'altezza del posto, conto troppo elevato rispetto a quello che abbiamo mangiato, paragonato ad altre realtà della zona.

21/04/2024: Siamo stati qui una notte, per un weekend in Toscana. Personale gentile e accogliente. La struttura è molto suggestiva e arredata con gusto nei minimi particolari. Appena abbiamo aperto la porta della stanza ho sentito subito profumo di pulito. Pulitissimo ovunque, anche lungo le scale che portano alle stanze ai diversi piani. La stanza era un po' piccola ma ci avevano avvisato che avrebbero adattato una doppia ad una quadrupla. Abbiamo cenato nel loro ristorante e abbiamo mangiato divinamente. Hanno pochi posti disponibili perciò se si intende stare in mezza pensione conviene prenotare in anticipo. Infatti durante la serata la sala si è riempita. Se passeremo da queste parti torneremo sicuramente!!! Consigliatissimo.

13/10/2025: My friend and I were there for dinner last night, October 12th, as we arrived in the area from Lake Garda. We were warmly welcomed without a reservation, as the manager and the chef kindly arranged a luxurious dining table and bright smiles from the supervisor, waitress and bartender. The waitress was the brightest face and was the best guide for us to have two luxurious dinners 😍
So I strongly recommend this amazing restaurant 👍👍👍

But what truly makes this place special is the care with which each guest is welcomed: attentive, discreet, and friendly service, always ready to make guests feel at the center of the experience.
The menu offers a wide selection of dishes and wines, with a clear focus on quality ingredients and local traditions, tastefully reinterpreted. I chose a perfectly cooked Florentine steak: tender, juicy, and flavorful. Followed by two desserts—both exceptional in both flavor and presentation.
All in a romantic and relaxed atmosphere, inviting you to take your time and savor every detail. Highly recommended for a special dinner or simply for those who want to savor the most authentic Tuscany, with style and warmth.

17/12/2023: Dopo una passeggiata a Montalcino ci siamo recati a Montisi,lì abbiamo scoperto un piccolo paradiso gestito dalla simpaticissima Ilaria.Abbiamo fatto una degustazione di vini non solo della zona accompagnata da una strepitosa selezione di formaggi tra i quali uno caprino che vale solo il viaggio,infine una zuppa di farro,riso e cicerchie.Prima di andare oltre al vino abbiamo acquistato dell'olio di produzione locale veramente ottimo.Una piacevole scoperta sicuramente e un prossimo ritorno!
