18/01/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance and without a reservation, right in the middle of a packed lunch. They welcomed me without any problems, and since I just wanted a quick bite to eat before heading out, they were very quick in taking my order and serving it. I had a herb-filled steak; it was perfectly cooked, well-flavored with the herbs, and a good portion. However, I felt the quality of the meat wasn't top-notch, as it was a bit tough and took a lot of chewing, despite being perfectly cooked. Alongside, I had roast potatoes, also a good portion, perfectly cooked and very, very good. On a positive note, the bread was good, and so was the oil they serve, which was really good quality. Looking at the tables nearby, I realized that, when the place is full, the service can be a bit slow and distracted, but oh well, you have to relax at the table! Furthermore, reading their menu and philosophy, as well as seeing the dishes, I think their strong points are the appetizers and especially the first courses; all homemade. Even the "cooked" second courses are probably better than the grilled ones. Definitely a place worth saving and returning to when you're in the area. The prices are fair, on average, lower than many others in the area. What a discovery!!!

29/10/2025: The farmhouse is located in a very relaxing spot. The access road is a bit bumpy, perhaps due to recent rains. The apartment is spacious, warm, comfortable, and fully equipped: two TVs, a pellet stove, air conditioning, and a large kitchen. The staff was very kind, accommodating my breakfast needs. The breakfast was good. I recommend it for a relaxing holiday in nature, also taking advantage of their lovely restaurant.

02/12/2025: Tenuta di Mensanello is much more than a farmhouse. It's a small, enchanting hamlet run with passion, expertise, and professionalism. The restaurant is excellent, with a wide selection of local products. The wines are also excellent, and the staff are wonderful. It's also suitable for families with children, thanks to the pool and games available.

08/11/2025: We've all dreamed of an unforgettable autumn holiday... velvety green hills, soft on the horizon, a gaze lost in the trees standing like toy soldiers in the clear sky, cobbled streets leading to an ancient village, with stone farmhouses with barred windows scattered here and there, seemingly uninhabited... absolute silence... just the harsh crunch of leaves underfoot... with all the blinding shades of autumn... ochre... orange... yellow... but only those who have stayed at the "Tenuta di Mensanello" can say they've found all of this in a single tourist facility. And what about privacy...a true privilege...absolute silence, no noise or sound to disturb the peace of this enchanted village. Only the cries of birds at dawn and dusk...fleeing in swarms darting toward the horizon! The only scents...those of flowers in the warm sun, rosemary, lavender, damp leaves, and moist earth! The splendid location of this Podere, in fact, makes for a stress-free and invigorating vacation for both body and mind. Recommended for those escaping (in autumn 😉!) from the city in search of peace and relaxation! There's no shortage of entertainment and sightseeing options. Just a few minutes' drive away are the picturesque towns of Siena, famous for their historical and cultural heritage (Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Colle Val d'Elsa, etc.). The estate also offers numerous guided excursions inland for those seeking an "energizing" vacation! A visit to the olive oil mill to see the oil production process is highly recommended! The estate's own production of wine, beer, honey, jams, and saffron makes the restaurant experience even more enjoyable. Both the breakfast buffet (with a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes) and dinner (with original and elegantly presented recipes) were among the reasons we returned to Mensanello for a second year...and we hope to return again! Given that the highlight of this property is the enchanting atmosphere that reigns within the village, the opportunity to stroll along the cobbled paths, gazing at the pool, a flower-filled balcony, or a lavender bush... the "Granaio" apartment was truly comfortable, welcoming, with its three bedrooms and two bathrooms, our family of five and one dog (he was the happiest of all during this "freedom" holiday!) Last...but not least...the Hospitality! The owners of the estate, Neri and his partner Annarita, are truly the best in terms of tourist hospitality. Extremely professional, extremely efficient, smiling, reassuring, always available and ready to make our stay pleasant with advice on destinations and tourist visits. They pampered us with warmth, transforming the welcome we deserved into affectionate generosity! The entire staff, especially the restaurant staff, deserves praise! They are fantastic, friendly, polite, and respectful. Daniele, the head waiter, has demonstrated his professional growth since last year and offered us truly original and delicious recipes! You won't find better anywhere else! We didn't want to leave Tenuta di Mensanello...not even our little dog...we recommend everyone to come to this corner of paradise! Bring your furry friend too...you'll make him happy 💓 P.S. The photos you see on the website don't do justice to the magical atmosphere of the view!

02/01/2026: A refined restaurant with refined dishes. Warm lighting and a welcoming atmosphere, excellent wines and fresh ingredients, and truly unusual combinations. Definitely worth a try and, in our case, a return visit.

28/10/2025: Mediocre pizza. Terrible dough, practically nonexistent toppings. Ordered a lactose-free white pizza with mushrooms and parmesan. A red pizza arrived with four pieces of mushrooms and a sprinkling of parmesan.

22/10/2025: Absolutely worth a try, from appetizers to first courses, from second courses to dessert, both seafood and meat, all this in a family atmosphere, where you don't feel at all uncomfortable, but rather they almost pamper you with the service they offer you and all at a very fair price.

04/01/2026: A fantastic experience!! The location is evocative and meticulously maintained, every corner exudes history and charm. The food is pure poetry, top-notch ingredients cooked to perfection. The wait staff is highly trained and available to answer any questions or concerns about the venue. The price is reasonable for the quality of the venue, the service, and the cuisine. I will remember it for a long time, and I will return at every opportunity.

03/01/2026: The dishes were truly spot-on. I've rarely eaten so well. Exceptional livers, beautifully cooked pigeon, smoked spaghetti with black garlic and anchovy sauce—spectacular, tasty, and with perfectly balanced flavors. The service was very pleasant, with kind and attentive staff. The wine list was very adequate, with a good selection and competitive prices. Excellent value.

14/12/2025: I went on a pizza tour, but the experience wasn't positive. The pizzas had very cheap and basic toppings. I understand it's a pizza tour, but the quantity and quality were truly minimal. The dessert pizza was extremely limited: we asked for three, but were told we were only entitled to one piece each. Considering we were a table of about 20 people, and therefore making a profit, these complaints could have been avoided. Furthermore, the so-called strawberry dessert pizza was served cold and actually contained jam. During dinner, the place filled with smoke from the oven, so much so that many of us had to wash our coats. At the final bill, no discount was applied, not even a token one, despite the problems encountered, including hair found on the pizza. I hope this criticism is constructive.

24/10/2025: Best pizza restaurant in Toscane!! Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very cosy and real Italien. We will come back here! We recommend the Diavoli and the Burrata with pesto.
