18/01/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance and without a reservation, right in the middle of a packed lunch. They welcomed me without any problems, and since I just wanted a quick bite to eat before heading out, they were very quick in taking my order and serving it. I had a herb-filled steak; it was perfectly cooked, well-flavored with the herbs, and a good portion. However, I felt the quality of the meat wasn't top-notch, as it was a bit tough and took a lot of chewing, despite being perfectly cooked. Alongside, I had roast potatoes, also a good portion, perfectly cooked and very, very good. On a positive note, the bread was good, and so was the oil they serve, which was really good quality. Looking at the tables nearby, I realized that, when the place is full, the service can be a bit slow and distracted, but oh well, you have to relax at the table! Furthermore, reading their menu and philosophy, as well as seeing the dishes, I think their strong points are the appetizers and especially the first courses; all homemade. Even the "cooked" second courses are probably better than the grilled ones. Definitely a place worth saving and returning to when you're in the area. The prices are fair, on average, lower than many others in the area. What a discovery!!!

29/10/2025: The farmhouse is located in a very relaxing spot. The access road is a bit bumpy, perhaps due to recent rains. The apartment is spacious, warm, comfortable, and fully equipped: two TVs, a pellet stove, air conditioning, and a large kitchen. The staff was very kind, accommodating my breakfast needs. The breakfast was good. I recommend it for a relaxing holiday in nature, also taking advantage of their lovely restaurant.

02/12/2025: Tenuta di Mensanello is much more than a farmhouse. It's a small, enchanting hamlet run with passion, expertise, and professionalism. The restaurant is excellent, with a wide selection of local products. The wines are also excellent, and the staff are wonderful. It's also suitable for families with children, thanks to the pool and games available.

28/10/2025: Mediocre pizza. Terrible dough, practically nonexistent toppings. Ordered a lactose-free white pizza with mushrooms and parmesan. A red pizza arrived with four pieces of mushrooms and a sprinkling of parmesan.

04/01/2026: A fantastic experience!! The location is evocative and meticulously maintained, every corner exudes history and charm. The food is pure poetry, top-notch ingredients cooked to perfection. The wait staff is highly trained and available to answer any questions or concerns about the venue. The price is reasonable for the quality of the venue, the service, and the cuisine. I will remember it for a long time, and I will return at every opportunity.

03/01/2026: The dishes were truly spot-on. I've rarely eaten so well. Exceptional livers, beautifully cooked pigeon, smoked spaghetti with black garlic and anchovy sauce—spectacular, tasty, and with perfectly balanced flavors. The service was very pleasant, with kind and attentive staff. The wine list was very adequate, with a good selection and competitive prices. Excellent value.

14/12/2025: I went on a pizza tour, but the experience wasn't positive. The pizzas had very cheap and basic toppings. I understand it's a pizza tour, but the quantity and quality were truly minimal. The dessert pizza was extremely limited: we asked for three, but were told we were only entitled to one piece each. Considering we were a table of about 20 people, and therefore making a profit, these complaints could have been avoided. Furthermore, the so-called strawberry dessert pizza was served cold and actually contained jam. During dinner, the place filled with smoke from the oven, so much so that many of us had to wash our coats. At the final bill, no discount was applied, not even a token one, despite the problems encountered, including hair found on the pizza. I hope this criticism is constructive.

24/10/2025: Best pizza restaurant in Toscane!! Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very cosy and real Italien. We will come back here! We recommend the Diavoli and the Burrata with pesto.
