13/07/2025: Wir waren hier mehrmals essen da wir Steak, Pizza und Burger probieren wollen. Alles ganz prima! Der Service war sehr freundlich und hat sich zur Not mit einem Übersetzungsprogramm auf dem Smartphone geholfen wenn es Verständigungsschwierigkeiten gab. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

10/07/2025: Ottima location,cibo ottimo e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato. 2 disossate alla Palermitana,patate al forno,birra acqua e caffé. 51 euro,servizio impeccabile. Da non perdere.

30/07/2025: Teatro Theatre and Wine Bar, is like being perched on the edge of Heaven! I had both lunch and dinner on 2 different days, and the food was so tasty! The evening dinner with wine flowing and the seafood dinner was exquisite follows up by desert of schiacciunaa, and old world recipe. My favorite desert was the made in the restaurant, Tiramisu! I wish I could dine there weekly.

22/07/2025: Two of us went to this restaurant last night. We ordered two appetizers, a first course, and a second course. My partner's dishes didn't live up to expectations. We saw octopus served on a bed of cooked vegetables, which I don't think goes well with it at all. The fried fish we ordered, however, was good and recommended, as was the mixed cooked seafood appetizer. Recommended if you're not too demanding. Friendly staff.

10/07/2025: The beach on Elba that absolutely must be visited. The hotel offers everything, including a golf course with a lake. Tennis, swimming pools, and even a small church. Behind the promontory, an enchanting walk takes you to a wild bay. On the way back, stop at the Hermitage and ask for Fabio, the cocktail boy. You won't find anything like it except in the best bars in London or New York. They're expensive (about €25), but he prepares them for you with incredible ingredients, explaining the process in a breathtaking setting. UPDATE 2025: For about two summers, the currents in the bay have changed, and the sea in front of the Hermitage is still very (very) dirty. The panoramic path along the coast has been closed.

28/07/2025: Had a quick lunch today with two schiacciatine, truly excellent, with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Despite the lunch rush, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place was clean. The only thing that needs work is the exhaust system, which is very smokey.

12/07/2025: Fantastic dinner, friendly staff, always available to accommodate our various requests. Everything was good, very good, but the Stiaccerita was the best! Fabulous! Must try!

20/07/2025: Nice place. I went there as a vegetarian because I saw they offered both vegan and vegetarian options online. When I arrived, I didn't see anything on the menu. The waitress told me I had to call, which I didn't think was fair. In the end, I opted for a pizza, obviously the only vegetarian option available. The staff was slow and unprepared.

19/07/2025: Beautiful view, but disappointing value for money We spent 18 days on Elba and wanted to try this restaurant – unfortunately, it was one of the more disappointing experiences. Pros: – Some beautiful sea views (but only from a few tables) – Friendly staff But unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives: – The pizza was very simple, rather bland in flavor, and the portion was small. You'd expect much more for the price. – Drinks were extremely expensive – even simple soft drinks. – Half of the seats are directly on the busy street – so it's a 50/50 bet whether you get a nice seat or a loud one. – The biggest criticism: the coperto (table charge) – excessively high per person, even for children. We haven't experienced this anywhere else on Elba – neither at much better restaurants nor in Portoferraio, where you get really good food at fair prices – without the coperto. We understand that people want to make money during peak season, but here the service simply doesn't match the price. You pay for the seating, not the food. Bottom line: If you're looking for good food and fair prices, you'll definitely find it on Elba – but not here.

24/04/2025: Op basis van de commentaren gekomen niet teleurgesteld . Het meisje van de bediening werkte haar eerste dag maar deed het heel goed en was supervriendelijk . Eerst antipasto czldo di mare en cozze alla marinara , daarna orecchietti alla pescatora en spaghetti alle vongole , daarna een gedeelde suggestie ( vongole , cozze , vis in een heerlijke saus ) . Afgesloten met een amaro van het eiland . Een echte aanrader en absoluut waar voor een zeer democratische prijs . Een aanrader !
