08/06/2025: A CULINARY PEARL IN THE HEART OF MARINA DI CAMPO If I could give 10 stars, I would do it without hesitation. Casa Sordi is not just a restaurant, it is an experience that stays with you. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a rare kindness, the kind that makes you feel immediately in the right place. The staff is attentive, smiling and thoughtful: every detail, from the service to the way the dish is presented, conveys care, passion and authentic professionalism. The quality of the products is impressive, every ingredient speaks for itself: fresh, selected with love, enhanced in every course. But the real star of the evening was the chef, an artist of flavors, capable of transforming every dish into a journey through taste, emotion and revisited tradition. You can feel the love in what he does, you can perceive the respect for the raw material and the desire to make every guest experience a special moment. It is difficult to choose the best dish, everything was simply perfect, a crescendo of emotions. Congratulations to all the staff, but a special round of applause to the chef: heart, technique and passion at the service of those who love to eat well. We will return, return and… return again. Casa Sordi is a place that conquers and leaves its mark.

10/06/2025: Lovely small restaurant with great food in an unassuming setting. We took the 5 course tasting menu and regretted not going for 7 as the dishes were so good. The wine pairing was excellent, with some lesser known wines too. The service was really friendly and the sommelier was happy to chat to me about the wines and indulge my curiosity. Thank you for a lovely evening.

03/05/2025: Excellent fish dinner in a delightful square, friendly staff and quick service, excellent value for money. Very kind, they offered us a limoncello when we settled the bill!

27/04/2025: First time on Elba. At the La Rosa hotel the welcome and hospitality are good, that kind of atmosphere that doesn't make you feel like a customer but, in fact, a guest. A special thank you to Giada and Linda who made our stay special also from a human point of view. Rooms a little spartan but clean and equipped with everything you need, without any inconveniences. The L'Ottavo pizza restaurant is also good. Good quality house white wine, fish first and second courses prepared with attention and care. Very good pizzas with very good combinations, a quick selection is recommended. We will be back

26/06/2025: Beautiful campsite. The restroom facilities are decent. The evening entertainment is extremely loud and goes on until 11:30. It's generally very loud in the evening and into the night. We find this very annoying, so we wouldn't come back. It's a shame, because the rest of the campsite was otherwise great.

26/06/2025: We stayed at the campsite for two weeks (end of May/beginning of June) and stayed in a mobile home. It was our first campsite vacation, and we loved it. The facility is very well-maintained, and everything you need for a vacation is within walking distance. The beach is also within walking distance—you practically just have to cross the street. We were also lucky that the entertainment program started at the end of May. The Just Friends Animazione team, which initially consisted of only four people, was simply fantastic. Chiara, Peppe, Samu, and Weronika demonstrated every day with full energy that they truly enjoy their jobs. Chiara, in particular, who was responsible for the children's entertainment (10 a.m.-12 p.m., 4 p.m.-6 p.m., and Baby Dance), made sure our three-year-old daughter had a wonderful stay. The program was varied, and she was fully involved ❤️ We would come back again just for the entertainment.

26/05/2025: We tried this place the first of the three days we were on Elba and... it became a must-see, we went back the other two days too! Truly extraordinary cocktails, thanks to the raw materials but also to the wisdom of those who prepare them. Excellent service, when we return to the island we will definitely go back!

18/06/2025: There were seven of us and we had two cuts, very good!! The staff was extremely friendly and we really appreciated the taste of the furniture

14/06/2025: Given the way they displayed and sold the meat, especially the prices, I didn't find great quality in the meat, specifically the Scottish one, full of nerves and fat and hard to chew. I asked if it had been frozen and the waitress kindly told me no. As we were leaving, the chef passed us with the meat in his hand saying in front of us "I just defrosted it" as if to make fun of us and treat us as ignorant. Long wait, about 45 minutes. I don't recommend and I won't be back.

21/06/2025: Keep up the good work. The service was great, and so was the pizza. The local wine from next door, Cecilia Rosato, was very good. Thank you for your hospitality. We'd love to come back.

24/06/2025: Absolutely fantastic and genuine experience from start to finish. Like eating at your Italian grandmother's house. Booking a table is a must when visiting Elba!

04/06/2025: Hotel located in a wonderful position, top beach with shaded garden for lunch, nothing is missing, clean rooms, excellent service, excellent and genuine food. Excellent value for money.

03/06/2025: We stayed in this hotel in the small village of Seccheto, a hotel directly on the sea, with beach service, umbrella, sunbeds and free shower, a wonderful view of the Seccheto cove and the island of Montecristo, excellent and abundant food from appetizers to dessert in the evening, top breakfast! Precise and kind service as well as the cleanliness of the entire hotel! Do I recommend it? Of course I do!

13/06/2025: Dolci più da panetteria che da pasticceria (crema non artigianale ad esempio). Tutto buono, ma non tanto da giustificare tutte queste recensioni 5* (per un tedesco giustamente ne vale anche 7 per i loro standard). Comunque rispetto agli standard elbani vale la pena. Prezzi nella media. Da Marina di Campo si impiegano 10m in bicicletta, a piedi è molto lontano.

31/05/2025: A gem in Marina del Campo. The pastry shop is located exactly the opposite way from the beach/boulevard. But once you have found it, you will want to make a detour, or in our case, walk around. From camping La Foce it is less than a 20-minute walk. You can drink delicious cappuccino there for €1.50, where you pay double on the boulevard. The delicious cookies and (mini) pastries are great and affordable. You can enjoy them with your cup of coffee or take a few with you. We have been there a few times and will definitely go there again during the coming holiday week for coffee, with a delicious cookie or pastry. (You can also have a glass of wine or beer there!)
