24/11/2025: We had dinner at this little trattoria in the middle of the Tuscan countryside and the food was divine! Everything was truly excellent, but trust me, try the red tagliatelle with beetroot, served with pumpkin and porcini mushrooms: AMAZING!

The service is courteous and friendly, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Reservations are recommended.

Even during busy periods, the restaurant staff ensures smooth and fast service, without any hiccups.

11/01/2026: A simply wonderful experience at Hotel Macinaie and Chalet Vecchio Rifugio.
From the management to the welcome, everything was impeccable: we were welcomed with open arms, including our inseparable four-legged friend Apollo, who was treated like family here 🐾.
We stayed in the splendid Chalet Vecchio Rifugio, in the large "La Fagetta" suite, where a roaring fireplace greeted us, creating a warm, intimate, and truly special atmosphere.
In the morning, we woke to 30 cm of fresh snow, a sight that made the landscape even more magical ❄️.
In the evening, we enjoyed a candlelit dinner, with excellent and delicious dishes, prepared with care and passion, all accompanied by an excellent local wine.
A relaxing, authentic, and romantic stay, made even more beautiful by the company of our beloved Apollo.
A place that will remain in our hearts and where we will return more often. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

14/10/2025: Let's start with the service, we were welcomed with a smile and kindness, the lady proved to be very professional, never letting us and our dog lack anything... the food was fantastic... a 10 for the pappardella with hare and the tiramisu... very low price... welcoming place... nice surprise... we will not miss the opportunity to return... very well done...
11/10/2025: Finding everything you're looking for isn't always easy, but sometimes it happens, like today at lunch at this "locanda." Excellent food, perfect service, and a fair price! Typical cuisine for those who want to sample a bit of Tuscany while traveling, definitely worth a visit.

Too bad

The selection is wide and doesn't follow the beaten path, always offering something new. The ingredients used are of the highest quality, enhancing the overall flavor. The experience is decidedly positive and leaves a lasting impression.

21/09/2025: I enjoyed the pizza 🍕. Everything was fresh and delicious, but the dough was too crispy for me. I prefer the Naples style. I had two glasses of red wine with it, which was also okay. The staff was super friendly and attentive 👍😊

Sono stato a cena con la famiglia e abbiamo scelto di mangiare il pesce. Ottimi piatti, porzioni abbondanti e servizio efficiente e rapido seppur fosse affollato.
Camerieri gentili e disponibili e soprattutto dei prezzi veramente bassi. Da provare assolutamente.
07/07/2025: Senza prenotazione con a seguito un Pastore Tedesco fuori taglia per grandezza, ci hanno accolti con cordialità e fatti accomodare per nostra scelta nei tavoli all'esterno del ristorante. Come sempre...... come a casa. Ottimo cibo, bravo il personale e cordialissimi i titolari. Rapporto qualità/ prezzo eccellente.

Prezzi assolutamente modici

13/06/2025: A truly unpleasant experience. The staff was extremely rude, unhelpful, and borderline impolite. The atmosphere is anything but welcoming: the place is frequented by clearly tipsy people, and the overall atmosphere is anything but relaxing. Furthermore, smoking is allowed inside despite the ban, which is absolutely unacceptable for anyone looking for a clean, law-abiding place.
I absolutely do not recommend it; there are many much better options in the area.
